helpful case organization tool

Pros

Keeping client files and active cases organized is much more manageable with this software. There's space to store and quickly access most of the key information and it also helps put a consistent process in place without much hassle.

Cons

It would be better if it offered more flexibility for the specific needs and preferred views of different businesses or departments. The data migration process could also work better especially when moving information between different programs.

quicker data entry, confusing URLs

Pros

Getting through forms is faster since I can move from field to field quickly and fill in the information without much delay. Overall it works pretty well.

Cons

The part I like least about it is how it handles URLs. It would be much better if links could be converted into something that can be attached or added by file name instead.

highly customizable tool

Pros

The open cases list is set up in a really helpful way since cases can be organized by stage. It feels like a highly customizable system overall and that makes practice management much more efficient.

Cons

What I'd like it to handle better is sub-categorizing cases. For example with a vehicle or personal injury matter, it would be useful to also categorize the defendant like Geico, Liberty Mutual and similar parties.

Great to work with!

Pros

highly recommended!

Pros

Its interface is very user friendly, with a clean layout that makes everything simple to use and navigate. I'd gladly recommend this application to just about anyone I know.

Cons

It gets annoying whenever I choose a specific case and it opens in a new tab. That leaves me with a bunch of unnecessary tabs open.

clean interface and helpful tools

Pros

The Docrio add-in stood out the most and the overall look of the platform feels polished. When our firm moved over to this system, getting used to it did not take long at all which made the transition much easier. The Conversations box has also been a helpful feature.

Cons

One thing I would change is having the latest case note show up on the Details page. At times, there are also so many folders that it starts to feel a bit counterproductive.

Offer clear workflow visibility

Pros

Using Litify makes it really simple to see the work other team members have already completed which helps a lot when staying on top of a case. It does take some time to learn and fully understand how everything is set up though.

Cons

I still have trouble with some of the mapping and figuring out where certain things are supposed to go. There are times when I am looking for a lien or damage item and the documents don't generate where I expect them to. I have also run into issues where it won't let me copy from the intake folder or I think I am working in the matter but somehow realize I ended up in Intake instead.

Nothing much to like!

Pros

There hasn't been a lot that stands out positively. It takes too many clicks to get into folders and similar areas and we also get far too many marketing emails that aren't relevant to our team.

Cons

For several years, Stoy Law has been trying to get [sensitive content hidden] removed from your email bank. Unfortunately, we are still receiving emails addressed to [sensitive content hidden].

Fits the specific needs

Pros

I find it pretty decent and easy to work with. Also it can be adapted to fit your specific needs and the reports it generates really help us track our efforts and see where our focus should be.

Cons

There was definitely a learning curve at the beginning and I needed some training to get comfortable with it. Once I got used to how it works though, it became a very valuable tool for our law firm and after that initial training it was excellent.

Pretty easy to use tool

Pros

There are lots of ways to manage and adjust a file after uploading it into Litify. The app is easy to use and moving files from one matter to another is simple. The interface doesn't take long to learn and most of it feels very self-explanatory once you start using it.

Cons

The app does crash occasionally. There are also a few minor instances where files take longer than expected to upload. When uploading large batches especially 50+ files, performance can slow down. It's not something that happens all the time but I have also seen Party entries duplicate themselves when adding one to a matter.

Well organized and quick to navigate

Pros

Navigation is very easy and the layout is well organized so getting to the information I need doesn't take long. One feature I really appreciate is being able to edit chatters after they've been posted which helps avoid extra confusion later on.

Cons

Well the updated color scheme isn't my favorite because it feels a bit too bright. I also wish some functions would save automatically whenever changes are made.

Packed with useful features

Pros

Using Litify has been not been a issue at all and the modular setup lets you build things out in a very flexible way. It's a strong platform with a lot of features that really help simplify and organize casework.

Cons

One part that still trips me up is that not every Salesforce feature carries over into this tool. I was very used to working in SF so not having access to some of those familiar, reliable tools took some adjustment.

Powerful reporting and helpful support

Pros

The customer support team and onboarding materials have been very helpful and the platform keeps getting better through regular updates and new features. Its reporting tools and dashboards are a real strength, giving firms visibility into performance and the progress of their cases.

Pros

It is pretty user friendly and it's easy to access with plenty of really cool features built in. File sharing is especially fast and convenient which has been a big plus.

Cons

It can slow down when opening large documents and it still doesn't support every file type. Document management also feels less smooth than it should and when uploading hundreds of documents, renaming each one takes way too much time.

clear layout but slower performance

Pros

Working in Litify is very easy and collaborating with others on a case is simple. The learning curve is excellent so training can happen quickly without sacrificing accuracy. Its layout is also very clear which leaves little room for confusion or second-guessing.

Cons

The website works very slow, almost like it's running on servers that are running out of capacity. It's definitely slower now than it was when I first started using it a couple of years ago. The integration with Banjax is the biggest frustration since it's hard to tell whether a document was actually sent or if it only began processing.

Offer great value for the price

Pros

Running case management through Litify has been very easy. It keeps case information well organized and from an admin side, creating and customizing objects is simple. That cuts down development time and makes the platform feel like a strong value for the money.

Cons

Some features are limited in how you can use them which sometimes forces you to build a complicated workaround. On top of that certain updates have made the system feel a bit slower at times.

powerful workflows and reporting

Pros

Working in Litify felt very natural thanks to its user friendly layout and the way it connects well with Salesforce which made case management much more efficient and easy to handle. The automation features, flexible workflows and real-time reporting were especially valuable, helping the team stay organized, collaborate better and boost overall productivity.

Cons

A few parts of the platform took some time to learn, particularly the more advanced reporting and customization tools and certain tasks involved multiple steps that felt a bit time-consuming in the beginning. There were also occasional slowdowns in the system during busy usage periods.

Pros

Useful outlook posting and notes

Pros

One feature I really enjoy is the search column and the Litify note tab is especially useful since I can create a note and start a chatter directly from that note. Another thing I really like is being able to send an Outlook message straight into it without having to copy and paste anything manually. The expense spreadsheet is also a nice feature and works well for me.

Cons

There are still a few things that make it harder to use than it should be. Having too many tabs open can get overwhelming and the activity timeline feels a bit confusing. The main chatter tab on the case is also not very clear so it was hard for me to find the note that was posted from Outlook into this tool. I also don't like that when I merge or create a letter, the margins are not aligned and I am not able to adjust them properly.

Highly valuable tool

Pros

Being able to tailor our client matters has been extremely valuable. It lets us build custom case reports for things like SOLs, medical record statuses and other matter-specific details. We can also generate the status reports our bank requires while still adjusting the output to match their exact field requirements.

Cons

The Docrio feature for saving emails to it matters really needs improvement. There have been several times when I removed the Docrio sync from an email because of confidentiality concerns but the email still synced afterward anyway. Once it's unchecked in the Outlook Docrio add-in, the syncing should stop immediately. On top of that the license pricing is very expensive.

Pros

Working with hybrid and remote legal teams has been much more manageable thanks to Litify's centralized workspace. On top of that both our customer service team and Litify's support reps have been outstanding as they are very responsive, helpful and always ready to assist.

Cons

At times the timeline can be tricky to navigate and finding exactly what I need isn't always as easy as it should be.

A complete tool overall

Pros

The thing I like is having emails, document sharing, calendaring, expenses and more all in one place. Everything is searchable which makes finding what I need really quick. I also rely a lot on the task tabs and reminders to stay on top of pending work and keep outstanding items from slipping through the cracks.

Cons

I feel like one thing that would really help is being able to clone information from the details and party tabs into companion cases since that would cut down on repetitive data entry and save time. I'd also love to see a talk-to-text feature added for phone call logs and emails because that would make things even faster.

Has user friendly tools

Pros

The way the tools are arranged visually, along with how easy the options feel to use, makes the platform very approachable. Users at any skill level can move through the features without much trouble and get their work done confidently and efficiently.

Cons

The connection between the apps could be better coordinated so interactions feel more consistent and unified across the platform, with fewer mismatches between features.

too many clicks to finish tasks

Pros

Having so much information gathered on the details page is helpful because it puts a lot in one spot so there's less need to jump around different parts of a file just to find what you need.

Cons

Honestly the system isn't very user friendly. Getting a single task done often takes more steps than it should and sometimes you have to click through multiple times before the task is actually completed.

Well organized and user friendly

Pros

Everything is very easy to use. The layout is structured in levels, items are simple to locate and the whole system is user friendly overall. The tab setup does a nice job of keeping everything organized which has been really helpful.

Cons

Working with videos can be a bit frustrating. A lot of the time, you have to download the video for it to play correctly or restart it several times just to fast-forward to the section you want to watch.

helpful for search and quick sharing

Pros

The search feature proves really useful since it takes you straight to exactly what you need. Sharing files is also very convenient because you can just send a link instead of going through extra steps.

Cons

A few documents ended up being uploaded by the AI into the wrong folders and some of them had incorrect or unrelated names.
