“Effective filtering and tagging
Pros
I really appreciate the filtering options at the top of the search, like tags or file types which make finding documents easier.
Cons
Not a con but I'd really appreciate a 'not' filter option to exclude items. For example, many PDF documents are not tagged as responsive, so at the moment if I want to leave those out I have to perform a separate search which is clunky.

“Accurate OCR and useful search
Pros
The search feature has been very useful and I find the OCR surprisingly accurate most of the time.
Cons
What really frustrates me is that I can't download documents when they have certain kinds of endorsements which disrupts my workflow.

“Easy start, fast support, cloud efficiency
Pros
Getting started was easy for me and the cloud-based platform allowed me to jump in immediately. The support team responds quickly and provides immediate solutions which helps me handle large data volumes efficiently. The continuous improvements, including FlexSearch, make it even more valuable and the low-cost subscription is a big plus.
Cons
One issue I've run into is that when you're working through very large document sets that include lots of duplicates, tagging those duplicates can be time-consuming because there isn't a "tag dupes" function yet. The product does offer a "Report" feature that shows certain search results visually but you can't interact with or manipulate that display, so it feels mostly decorative rather than practical. Another limitation is that the "Custodian" field doesn't work with database uploads that are imported which forces me to come up with a workaround to organize and sort those files by custodian instead of being able to rely on a built-in option.

“Flexible, improving cloud-based platform
Pros
I'm a fan of the cloud-based setup, it's flexible, constantly improving and the search and tagging functions work really well.
Cons
There are features I feel could be better, I would like more intelligent search results, smarter de-duplication and a faster tagging workflow to speed things up.

“Fast, reliable end-to-end workflow
Pros
From start to finish, the product feels extremely easy to use. I can ingest data quickly, add users, move them through tasks fast and push productions out rapidly, the tool is very fast and reliable.
Cons
It's not really a criticism of the software itself but I am still getting used to a review workflow that doesn't provide a grid view or metadata sorting which takes some adjustment before feeling fully comfortable with it.

“Logical interface with standout service
Pros
After seeing a demo with my technical consultant, I was impressed enough to sign up. Producing client documents has been much easier than with other programs and the platform feels logical and easy. Their personal service really stands out and even massive productions are handled smoothly.
Cons
I can't think of anything I dislike about it.

“Quick setup for large data
Pros
The thing I appreciate most is how quickly I can get started. When a new matter lands on my desk and I receive a 12GB .pst from the primary custodian, I can upload it, wait for it to process and immediately start poking around to see what was exchanged with the opposing party. There's no shipping delays or having to rely on someone else to handle the setup which saves me a ton of time.
Cons
I notice the app can lag at times, particularly when I run really large searches.

“Constantly improving cloud platform
Pros
Everything is cloud-based and the design team is always tweaking and rolling out upgrades to make the site more simple for users. They're never complacent and they treat customer feedback like a challenge to improve the product. In my experience this is easily the best litigation software I've used and I'd happily recommend it to anyone searching for a great document management solution.
Cons
Because the platform pushes boundaries, I occasionally run into glitches but the support staff for this tool is quick to roll out fixes for any issues I've reported. Those occasional problems are far overshadowed by the greatly improved user experience and cloud capabilities which I believe place this product well ahead of its competitors.

“feasible for attorneys and support teams
Pros
This tool is very simple for most tasks. At our firm, attorneys find it easy to start a review. Our litigation support team has no trouble setting up projects and uploading data. During our pilot, I let a few of our more tech-savvy attorneys loose in a project with no training. They picked up tagging, downloading chosen documents and even uploaded a new document set by themselves. (We normally discourage attorneys from uploading data but it made for a useful pilot experiment.) Feedback from users has been that the platform handles most reviews effectively. The support team is exceptionally reachable and responds quickly. Although it might not fit every single project (which kept me from giving a perfect score), I would still suggest it for many standard engagements. For smaller firms that lack dedicated litigation support, this platform would be an excellent choice. We also appreciated the clean interface and fast onboarding which saved our staff significant time when getting projects up and running quickly.
Cons
I still run into a few snags when importing outside or opposing production data. There are quirks in some download options that need fixing. For complex reviews, the tagging structure is too limited because it lacks sub-tags and tagging rules. That said, used on appropriate projects these issues can be worked around and they don't usually cause major disruptions when scoped correctly overall.

“Essential platform for solo/small-firm lawyers
Pros
For my practice, this has become an absolutely essential discovery platform for processing, reviewing and producing the digital materials we get from the opposing side as well as from our own clients. I rely on it to organize, search and sort vast amounts of electronic data quickly and effectively and its handling of native-format email in particular is a game changer. As a solo practitioner/small-firm lawyer, the tool gives me the capacity to take on far bigger and more complicated matters than I otherwise could. For example, I was able to manage a discovery request for my client that produced more than 20,000 pages of documents and to generate a privilege log containing hundreds of entries. I've even uncovered a backdated file by digging into the file creation date buried in a document's metadata through this platform which simply wouldn't have been possible without an advanced discovery solution like this. I also use the system to tag and organize documents for particular witnesses' depositions and to pull up key documents instantly using the text search. With the sheer explosion of digital records that both businesses and people accumulate routinely, I honestly consider a platform like this to be as indispensable to a litigation practice as online legal research.
Cons
Honestly, there isn't much about the product that bothers me. When I first signed up, the system didn't let you internally endorse documents that were being produced to the other side, although that capability was added a few months later. One enhancement I'd still like to see is the ability to generate invoices tied to specific matters that are set up in the system, so that documenting case-specific costs and charges would be much easier and more transparent.

“easy data upload
Pros
As far as I know, this tool is the only electronic discovery software vendor that offers a free account up to 100 MB. That may sound modest but when you're handling email it will usually cover roughly 800 messages without any problem. Uploading data is quick and easy. I find the platform makes the dataset really flexible and easy to work with.
Cons
I've heard they're currently working on a few improvements, like making uploads simpler via Dropbox (they already support Box) and refining the production features a bit. Those are the specific areas they can polish and are reportedly focused on.

“Simple setup with predictable pricing
Pros
Getting set up was simple and the pricing is predictable which I appreciated. In my experience, most of my attorneys needed just a five- to ten-minute walkthrough of the product before they were fully up and running. The interface keeps things uncluttered but still provides the features we genuinely need.
Cons
performance doesn't match what you'd get from an in-house setup for most users. I guess that's the trade-off you accept when running things in the cloud.
