“great experience!!!!
Pros
This tool keeps me consistently informed and on track. I am very happy with the service as it offers great value, solid document management and helpful customer service with very little wait time. The features are also easy to use and understand.
Cons
I honestly don't have anything to add for what I liked least. Yes you heard it right I do not have a single negative thing to say as my experience with the service has been entirely pleasant so far.

“Excellent value despite recent price hikes
Pros
The value for the money is excellent. When I started, it was extremely affordable and still had all the features I needed to run my firm more efficiently.
Cons
It was pretty slow to roll out integrations that competitors like Clio had for a while, such as full email integration. They have definitely caught up in this area but unfortunately, it came with a significant price increase.

“Simple to use and very transparent
Pros
MyCase is pretty simple to use and easy to learn. Anything I am unsure about is always covered in the help section on their site. The pricing and invoicing are very transparent too and the client portal is quite user-friendly for my clients.
Cons
I think it would be great to have template workflows that could be shared between users and customized for our firm. I would also love to be able to share certain tasks with external firms we work with.

“A frustrating and rigid onboarding process
Pros
I was drawn in by the promise of an all in one system, it would have been so convenient to replace my two subscriptions for Clio and QuickBooks with just one, but unfortunately that did not work out.
Cons
Getting started was a major hurdle. You cannot just begin using the software as you have to wait for weeks due to a mandatory accounting onboarding. This process involves two separate appointments, not the one they initially promise and each one takes about a week to schedule since they only offer them on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I ended up canceling but they keep calling me for reasons I am not interested in.

“Great features
Pros
It integrates fairly well with Google Calendar and is great for managing case files, documents, due dates and checklists. It was also an amazing tool for tracking my billing by day or month and for setting goals. I also liked the feature for communicating with clients directly within their case file.
Cons
The cost went up significantly while I was a subscriber and the per user pricing can be frustrating. Creating a backup by downloading all my data was not easy or convenient either. I was also unhappy with how high their credit card processing fees were.

“User friendly for tracking and cases
Pros
I love how user-friendly MyCase is. It is so easy to track my time, stay on top of my cases and share documents with clients.
Cons
Well I would like the ability to do batch billing for a single case across different dates. I have also had persistent problems getting the text messaging feature to work properly. It's been months without a fix, despite being told they are working on it. Still I am really hoping for a resolution soon.

“A terrible experience!
Pros
My experience was terrible. They overcharged me and then refused to do anything about it. We spent a year calling back and forth and they never returned our calls, basically just ignoring us. Once they have your credit card, it is over. They claim it is in their terms that they can keep your money and that is that. They even had the nerve to charge my card again a year later.
Cons
They overcharged me and then refused to do anything about it. We spent a full year going back and forth on calls and they never returned our messages, essentially just ignoring us. Once they have your credit card on file, you have no leverage.

“Great product
Pros
As a small firm we like that MyCase offers subscription plans that fit our needs without making us pay for features we won't use. Also the customer service is prompt and thorough. It is a great product overall.
Cons
I wish I had more control over the invoicing process like being able to fully modify the default invoice template or change its initial state when it's generated. I would also like to create calendars for individual clients who have multiple cases, rather than being limited to a per-case view.

“Extremely easy and quick to use
Pros
It is very easy to use for tracking my time against client files. Invoicing clients is also quick and the payment options are simple for them to use.
Cons
There is absolutely nothing to dislike about it. My previous time and billing software was clunky and had difficult links but this tool is the complete opposite. It is so easy to use.

“pretty perfect for day to day tasks
Pros
The overall ease of use is its best feature. It is very user-friendly for basic case management, standard reports and other day to day business tasks.
Cons
This is not a major con but more tailored staff training would be helpful like either one-on-one sessions or guidance specific to our business. Also it is hard to know how to adapt all the features to our individual needs. So a better understanding of all the available tools would help us use the platform more effectively.

“simple, all-in-one platform with fair pricing
Pros
It is simple to use and has all my tools in one spot. The customer service is a big step up from most, the pricing is fair and I can get to it from any internet-connected device. It is also amazing for managing remote employees with tasks and notes.
Cons
Umm there is no built-in spell check. It can also be difficult to get ahold of customer service sometimes and the integration often needs to be reloaded multiple times.

“Tracks everything in a single app
Pros
I can track emails, documents, notes, calls and billing all inside a single app. The built-in texting feature is also a plus and whenever I run into trouble, customer service is usually quick to respond and help out.
Cons
One thing I would love is to send a global message but only to clients in a specific practice area. Also the Outlook add-in does not work with the new version of Outlook, so I am hoping that gets fixed soon.

“Key for growing my small firm
Pros
MyCase has been key in helping my small law firm grow and manage client cases more effectively by combining timekeeping, billing and document management. I have not even used all its features like the calendar integration but the parts I do use work great.
Cons
I wish there was a better system for automatically reminding clients about late payments. As far as I can tell, you can create bills in a batch but you cannot automatically send reminders or payment demands to everyone who is past due.

“packed with all the essential tools
Pros
I really like its simplicity and that it has all the essential tools to run our firm. The smooth integration with our accounting software and LawPay is a huge bonus.
Cons
While It is always getting better, the pace of improvements and new integrations with other tech could be faster and more efficient.

“Easy communication with full records
Pros
Communicating with clients is not a problem through the portal, messaging and texting. I also love that a clear record of all those conversations is easy to find.
Cons
In the messaging system, we cannot start a draft and then come back to finish it later. The result of it is that I have lost message content a few times after starting to write something.

“Powerful yet simple to navigate
Pros
Storing information, navigating the system and sharing documents with clients is all very easy. Overall it is a powerful yet simple program to use.
Cons
My least favorite thing is that you cannot add a single contact to multiple files for the same Homeowners Association. You have to add them individually to every single case which is very time-consuming.

“Consistently meets all my needs!
Pros
MyCase consistently meets all my needs for a legal CRM. The layout is also clean, modern and makes sense, which cuts down on training time for new staff and lets us focus more on our clients. Plus all the important details from documents and deadlines to client messages are just a few clicks away.
Cons
The drag and drop feature for uploading documents can be a bit glitchy sometimes. It does not always register the files you drop or it can be less responsive than you'd expect. To be fair, I am not sure if this is a software problem or something with my browser but it is a minor annoyance on an otherwise smooth platform.

“Automated folders for every case
Pros
I love how many features it has. My favorite is the folder set template that automatically generates when I open a new case.
Cons
To be honest I am not a fan of the new layout for lead tasks. When you click on the task box, you cannot see the full task name. There is also no way to click out of the box once you are in it. I also dislike that they removed the scroll bars in the task box for matters which makes it hard to see the full list, especially on my laptop screen.

“feature-rich value
Pros
We are really happy with the price, the features, how easy it is to use and the ability to talk with clients while managing their entire file.
Cons
With the new user interface, it is a little harder to find notifications for client messages, texts and new documents from clients.

“Very easy and simple to use
Pros
MyCase is very easy and simple to use. I taught myself how to use the program and it was incredibly user-friendly.
Cons
The per-user pricing model is my main issue. It would be much more cost-effective if they had a flat rate tier for small teams, like a set price for 1 to 5 people.
