“The ultimate all-in-one legal platform
Pros
This system has almost every feature you could want to run a law practice. It handles billing, invoicing, accounting, case management, tasks and even works as a CRM. It also automatically tracks my communications like texts and emails. My entire workflow is now built around MyCase.
Cons
It could make a couple of improvements. For a larger practice, it offers good value but the cost is a bit steep for a solo attorney. So I would recommend a cheaper plan for one-person firms. It also lacks a client scheduling feature which would be really helpful. Other than that it is a great system.

“Simple to use with great service
Pros
MyCase platform is simple to use and managing documents is pretty easy too. Plus their customer service is consistently great. It took me some time to adjust to the new interface but now I really like it.
Cons
I have not run into many problems. On the rare occasion I have, they were fixed right away. Since I do not use every single feature, I cannot really comment on most of them.

“A single hub for our entire team
Pros
It lets me keep track of nearly everything in a single, centralized place. Overall this is incredibly helpful for supporting a legal team of three.
Cons
To be honest I am not as fond of the new design as I was of the older version. But I'm slowly getting used to it. I mean change is always a bit tough to adjust to.

“User friendly for the legal industry
Pros
It is very user-friendly and feels right for the legal industry. I also like that you can complete many tasks from different screens. Even customer service is always helpful and the built-in texting feature is really practical.
Cons
The constant visual updates can be frustrating. Because just when we learn where everything is, they move it. The billing section is also a little confusing to navigate.

“easy to learn platform
Pros
It is a comprehensive and user friendly platform for case management, billing and financial analysis. Also it is very easy to learn and use. Invoicing and timekeeping are not an issue too and it even includes useful perks like e-signing for documents.
Cons
I noticed the price has increased a lot but then again, so has everything else. Plus some features like the desktop app feel useless to me. If they add to my bill, I just won't use them and the company should really focus on its core strengths instead of trying to replicate something like Word with its own editing tool.

“Improved our small firm operations
Pros
Our small firm's operations improved dramatically when we started using this. Communication about cases and our ability to see the overall workflow got much better. Timekeeping became easier and more accurate and our invoices are now simpler to create and look more professional.
Cons
The document management feature could be more user friendly. While storing files is fine, actually working with them inside the platform is difficult.

“Easy navigation with fantastic quick actions
Pros
Navigating the system is easy and user-friendly. I especially like the new Quick Actions tiles on the right side, where you can pick an action from different categories.
Cons
I have no complaints. The new menu is very basic. Plus the add note feature is especially handy for quickly attaching a note to a case file.

Pros
We love how easy MyCase is to use, it is an all-in-one, cloud-based system with so many great features. Plus being able to handle our invoicing through it is fantastic and we get payments almost immediately after sending an invoice. Their support team usually responds quickly if we have any issues. Overall we'd highly recommend it as it's great value for the money.
Cons
Well I preferred the old way tasks were displayed on the main dashboard. It was easier to see everything at a glance with less clicking. Also if their system has an outage, you are stuck and cannot work. It's been rare in the years we have used it, but it does happen.

The platform is really user-friendly and the built-in calendar is great. The only thing I'd change is making the document saving process a little quicker.
Cons
My calendar needs more AI capabilities. I would also like the phone app to be more user-friendly and include more features.

Pros
Well I am a big fan of all the features and how well everything is organized across the different tabs. It is also very easy for our clients to navigate on their end, so I am glad we can offer them this platform.
Cons
I wish there was a tool to generate new leads from our existing contact list. I would also like to have more tutorial guides to show how certain features can be used to make our workflows more efficient.

“Perfect for efficient client communication
Pros
It brings all our client communication, documents, case tracking and invoicing together in one place. New staff members can get up to speed quickly without much training. The client portal and online payments make handling cases and bills much more efficient and their customer service is also very responsive.
Cons
My biggest issue with it is not being able to send a single message to a specific group of clients within a case. Right now you can only message everyone at once or contact people one by one. It would be so much more efficient if we could select several clients from the same case and send one tailored message to just them.

“Top features yet simple to use
Pros
I run my expert witness practice with MyCase. The interface is clean and easy to navigate. Document management is good too though it can feel a bit clunky at times. Also time recording feature is excellent and the integration with QuickBooks Online is very helpful. They also provide great customer support and training resources.
Cons
Managing documents requires too many steps. So a simple drag and drop feature into folders would be a big improvement. Also the process for uploading documents for clients to see is not as effective as giving them direct access.

“An affordable all in one solution
Pros
As a solo practitioner I needed an affordable solution that covers client management, case tracking, bookkeeping and trust accounting. MyCase handles all of that and is priced very reasonably.
Cons
The hardest part was just getting used to a new system. Every platform works a little differently, so there is always a learning curve when you switch. On the plus side the training materials are very useful and you can get one on one help if you need it.

“A one stop shop for clients
Pros
My favorite part is that it is a one stop shop for both me and my clients. The real-time communication and the ability to upload and download documents are great too. Plus clients really like having that direct link to our firm and it helps keep me and every case organized.
Cons
There are a few features I find frustrating. Such as you cannot save a draft of a message. Payments on old invoices do not show up in the history we can add to a new bill and you cannot customize the home screen to show only the tools you use most.

“Makes client communication incredibly easy
Pros
I love how easy it makes client communication. Tracking billable hours and creating clear, transparent invoices for clients is also not an issue. I also really love that customer service is always accessible when I need help and the video tutorials are great for learning the system.
Cons
It is a bit inconvenient that we cannot search through documents in the main firm library as easily as we can search for files within individual cases.

Pros
They are quick to respond to and implement good new ideas for the software. The customer support is pretty solid too. So I have no complaints.
Cons
Occasionally software bugs can take a long time to get fixed. For example, for months whenever I printed a document to PDF from MyCase, the auto-date feature would show the wrong date like one day ahead. It took them a while but they did eventually resolve the issue.

Pros
The 8 a.m. draft review was well-structured and clear. The case details were presented logically, the tone was professional yet friendly and the action items were concise, making the next steps easy to follow. Overall it is the best case management program I have used.
Cons
My experience was good overall but I think the part about next steps and follow-up actions could have been more detailed. Plus a few points like problems with document templates and what to expect from support, felt glossed over which left some uncertainty about who was responsible for what and when.

Pros
The texting feature is my absolute favorite. It is simple to use and my clients love it. Since texting is the best way to reach most of them, this feature is just perfect for my practice.
Cons
I have not figured out how to customize the menu on the right side of the screen. I also find it confusing when a number appears on the calendar for an event that belongs to another user, not me.

“Adapts perfectly for any business!
Pros
We use this software to run a business that is not in the legal industry. But we have managed to adapt it perfectly to our needs and would be lost without it. I was a little unsure during the transition to the new site layout but the changes actually improved things I didn't even think needed fixing. So we love it.
Cons
Since our office is in Australia, if we cannot find an answer in the online help section, we have to rely on email because of the time zone difference which can slow things down.
