“Predatory contracts and awful support
Pros
The app was easy to use and the overall user experience felt solid. Plus most integrations worked properly the first time I set them up.
Cons
I ran into what felt like predatory contracts. There's no way to manage my account or billing from the admin console so I had to call the company to enable the billing section just to view charges. Customer support was awful, seeming designed to block rather than assist when I tried to change or close my account. After more than 20 emails to close it, they still billed my credit card the following month. In my experience, they're just as bad as RingCentral so I'd avoid them.

“Genuinely like the messaging feature
Pros
I genuinely like the messaging feature and how convenient it is to run the Nextiva app on both my desktop and phone.
Cons
Occasionally, call quality drops when I am traveling or away from Wi?Fi, making conversations less clear. Even so, the service is reliable more often than not.

“Very unreliable connectivity and support
Pros
VoIP phone service is a strong concept and customizing a phone system is what a growing business needs. However, I don't believe Nextiva is the right solution as I have found other vendors that perform better.
Cons
Unfortunately, I have had very unreliable connectivity with this tool as people often have to repeatedly log in and out of the app. I have spent hours with technical support only for the service to work briefly and then break again about two weeks later. There feels like no real customer support as every time we try to get help, we have to re?enter our verification PIN, company name and owner's name at least three times before speaking to anyone.

“Flexible product for all communication
Pros
I like the product's flexibility as it allows me to text, make calls, record conversations, use voicemail and rely on it for communication.
Cons
Sometimes it's glitchy and having to resolve issues only through chat can be frustrating but overall we can manage and keep using it.

“extremely poor support
Pros
After three weeks without a straight answer while they tried to resolve my issue, there is absolutely nothing I like about Nextiva.
Cons
Customer support has been extremely poor as it feels like nobody knows what they're doing. What frustrates me most is how they keep passing the buck and never reach a concrete resolution for the SMS registration issue.

“Able to manage every employee handset
Pros
At our office, we use Nextiva VoIP for phone service. I like being able to manage every employee's handset through the portal and it's simple to reset their voicemail passwords without hassle.
Cons
What I dislike most is having to upload a WAV file whenever I set up voicemail.

“Terrible customer support and delays
Pros
For what I paid, the software was inexpensive and you get exactly what you pay for.
Cons
We encountered absolutely terrible customer support as nobody seemed capable of handling multiple issues and we kept being passed around and left on hold. It took them more than three months to sort out our 10DLC, while our next provider managed it in about two weeks. There was no proactive follow?up.

“Scales well to accommodate growth
Pros
One of the most impressive things about Nextiva as a UCaaS solution is how well it scales to accommodate growing needs and different usage levels.
Cons
The price is a major drawback. I really wish their fees weren't so steep.

“Liked service options but complicated access
Pros
I liked the variety of service options and the numerous ways to set up groups and chats.
Cons
It's been a while since we used Nextiva but I remember that gaining reliable access to our admin account was complicated. When employees left or rejoined, it created potential security and access headaches. Ultimately, the setup didn't suit our company's needs at the time.

“Excellent company with reliable products
Pros
It's an excellent company with a talented team of professionals and their products work reliably.
Cons
My problem is that their sales reps promise something, then take time off without properly recording the agreement and I end up stuck with roughly a $3,000 charge over the length of my contract.

“Affordable and capable with call recording
Pros
Nextiva was an affordable way to provide phones to multiple employees, helping control costs. With our IT team's help, we also enabled call recording for all inbound and outbound calls.
Cons
The biggest issue was the complete lack of onboarding as we received no guidance on using the phone system, making the transition harder. Also, because it relies entirely on our internet connection, any outage takes our phones down with it.

“simple and dependable with great support
Pros
Nextiva is simple and dependable tool. I am a big fan of its team messaging and video conferencing features. Customer support responds quickly and is genuinely helpful and call clarity is consistently top-notch.
