For my firm, security is the top priority. It gives us the ability to block users from specific areas of the application and their military-grade encryption keeps our data far safer than hosting it on an internal server. Because we had to meet HIPAA requirements, the integration was especially important, it lets us store files in a way that complies with HIPAA standards. Overall, it's easy, reliable and very secure.

Being a Photoshop enthusiast, I always wanted my invoices to look like designer-quality, clean and minimalist pieces. The problem was it took me roughly 15 minutes to craft each one. As my studio started getting busier, I needed to reduce the hours wasted on creating invoices, emailing them to clients, chasing payments and handling follow-ups. It solved that by automating the entire workflow which gives me back the time to actually do the work I love, editing clients' photos. Best of all, the invoices still display my logo and company details and keep that same sleek, minimal aesthetic I wanted.

Over the years I've fixed tech problems for friends and colleagues and finding this tool finally gave me the push and self-assurance to start turning those skills into a way to earn money. Not exactly a numbers person, I find it's clean, simple layout takes the drudgery out of bookkeeping. The interface is so easy I actually enjoy using it. As someone new to running a business I can't overstate how effortless it has made day-to-day management. Using the calendar to organize my meetings is handy. I've even generated invoices while sitting with clients and accepted payment through PayPal right away. Simple to use yet thoroughly capable. My tax advisor is really happy knowing I will have every receipt and invoice in place when we sit down together and it gives me confidence.

Hands down this is one of the best practice management systems I've found regarding layout and support. Right after signing up, my account manager reached out and set up a one-on-one walkthrough instead of the usual webinar, showing me how to use the program tailored to my firm. During the session he walked me through how simple it is which mattered a lot since I'm not very tech-savvy. He also helped me set up custom fields so the software matched my practice areas exactly. Whenever questions came up they replied within minutes or I could pick up the phone and get an answer immediately. What I like most is the feed where I can jot notes and pull them up quickly when a client calls. My paralegal takes many of the incoming calls too, so that feature keeps both of us on the same page. We had been hoping for a client portal and it was a relief to learn that one exists and will be expanded with many more features soon. Security was another worry for me and I'm relieved that nobody else can access my account and that all our data can be exported to Excel whenever necessary.
Cons
As far as I'm concerned, there are no complaints. The platform performs as expected.

I've been hunting for a tool that could centralize my marketing, finances, billing and invoices in one cloud-based place and it delivers exactly that. It can be a little tricky to wrap my head around at first but once I get past the initial learning curve it really acts like a knight in shining armor for my business, aligning the toughest tasks and making the work feel much more manageable and even enjoyable.

Back when I was working solo, I managed with Google Docs, Outlook and Excel. After bringing on a paralegal and adding a partner, it became clear we needed a unified system to handle client management, time tracking and billing. This software was among the few I discovered that combined all those features into a single package. Data security mattered a lot to us and I'm relieved everything is stored encrypted in the cloud.
