PracticePanther is a true all in one platform that puts everything we need to run our business in one place, from case management and documents to billing, payments, and client communications. It is intuitive and easy to use, even for team members who are not very tech savvy, and it helped us simplify our day to day operations quickly. Billing is much easier, invoices go out faster, and we get paid more quickly. The support team has also been great and very responsive whenever we have questions.
Cons
Honestly, there is not much to complain about. Any time I have had a question or needed help, I have been able to find answers quickly through their support team or online resources, which has made the platform very easy to use overall.

Cons
For my workflow I wished this tool provided a separate, well-organized section for every case. I found it difficult to navigate the documentation because everything was grouped together without clear separation.

I work at a law firm that uses this product and as a software engineer I have to be honest: apart from some SOAP integrations I've dealt with this is the worst public-facing API I've ever seen. It feels like it hasn't been touched in a decade and what the API returns barely reflects the information you can pull up by clicking around the app. That disconnect is a real problem for me because the built-in reporting dashboards are frankly terrible. For software that's supposed to help run a business, there is almost nothing that actually shows how employees are contributing to revenue. Because of that gap, I ended up building a full eTL layer to extract the tiny, poorly formatted bits of data I could scrape from the API, transforming and stitching them into useful dashboards with alerting routed through different channels and custom endpoints for queries. Those dashboards actually give stakeholders something actionable. It's gotten to the point where I'm currently writing a Selenium scraper to pull things directly from the website, since every attempt I make to push updates through the API gets ignored. Beyond the API problems, the rest of the application has barely evolved over the past ten years which is frustrating for users who expect continuous improvement.

The WiseTime invoicing integration is amazing! It's so convenient. And the fact that I can also easily send documents for signing makes the whole process feel so streamlined. It's definitely one of my favorite features!
Cons
Time tracking isn't included, so I need to use another software for that. It's a issue but not a deal-breaker.

It's easy to get the hang of! I've been using it for a while now and the billing and invoicing features are definitely a bonus. What I really love is that my clients can pay directly from the invoices which means I don't have to chase payments. It saves me so much time.

“Why is canceling PracticePanther so hard?”
Pros
I was able to use the interface right away without any issues. The design is really simple which is perfect for someone who just wants to get things done quickly without any confusion.
Cons
Canceling was a huge headache. There's no online option to cancel, so you have to request it through your account, wait for a call and if you miss it, you're stuck playing phone tag. It feels like such an easy fix, just have a "cancel my account" button in the profile.

It's easy to use with almost no learning curve. I had a couple of questions at first but their support was quick to help and they even added new features that made my life easier. It's great that they keep improving it, too!
