Time saving product for invoices

Pros

PracticePanther is incredibly easy to use. It offers a wide range of features, and the ability to integrate with other tools, such as Mailchimp, greatly enhances its value. Because it is cloud-based, I can access it from any device, which makes it very convenient for my needs.

Cons

It could be a little cheaper since for companies with low turnover it can be somewhat expensive. Also, another point that I didn't like was the delay of the customer service team to answer questions and/or problems.

PracticePanther - great software

Pros

We were up and running in just a few minutes. The software is highly adaptable, and whenever we require help, there is a comprehensive library of instructional videos available, along with a customer support team that is very quick to respond to our inquiries.

Cons

We've used Practice Panther since our firm was established. We haven't implemented every feature yet, but hope to do so in the future.

Superb tool for handling legal tasks and time management

Pros

This software is very comprehensive and easy to use, offering a wide range of features, conveniences, and tools that make my work much simpler. For example, it provides easy payment options, whether by card or check, which streamlines the billing process. It also has automatic task assignments that help save time by organizing tasks without much effort on my part. The cloud storage feature allows me to securely store and access files from anywhere, while the real-time tracking of billable expenses ensures that I can keep a close eye on my financials as I work. All of these features together have made the software incredibly efficient, allowing me to handle tasks smoothly and stay organized without wasting any time.

Cons

The price is the only downside since the most basic version falls short for a medium-sized company. For a company with an average data flow, it would need the intermediate version, which would be equivalent to paying about 70 euros per month per user.

Worth the cost!

Pros

PracticePanther is the first application I open every morning on my computer. I check my matters and what's scheduled on my calendar. Billing and invoicing are so easy with PracticePanther, and its integration with QuickBooks makes it valuable for my business.

Cons

I wish that updating document templates were a more smooth process. It seems that I need to modify the document template on my computer and subsequently upload it again into PracticePanther. If there exists a method to simply update the template within PracticePanther, that would be highly beneficial.

Ideal Software for Legal work

Pros

What I like most about the program is its wide range of features, including options for online payments, automated workflows that help me save time, real-time data backups, and the ability to track billable hours from any device. It also helps me maintain control over all my finances. Overall, it is a very comprehensive application.

Cons

The only downside I see might be the price. The most basic plan falls too short for anyone who needs this program, and if you opt for the intermediate plan and you or your company don't handle too large a flow of data, you'll pay more, as much as 80 euros per month. It's true that I haven't found many programs with such a level of functionality.

PracticePanther is the best choice!

Pros

The invoicing and time tracking features are my favorites.It is very easy to monitor my time with the online and mobile timer. Also, editing, creating and keeping track of invoices and outstanding amounts is a very smooth process.

Cons

I wish there was an integrated calendar and docketing feature available within the software. It would be highly beneficial to have all scheduling and case management tools seamlessly integrated into one platform. This would streamline workflow and ensure that all important dates and tasks are efficiently managed without the need for additional external tools or applications.

Easy to adapt. I like it!

Pros

Being able to learn how to use the software quickly was a major advantage for me. It made the whole process much easier, allowing me to get started without feeling overwhelmed or confused. Plus, the original pricing was very reasonable and appealing, making it an even better choice for me.

Cons

There's been an increase in cost since I started with it, and the inability of PracticePanther or Lawpay to resolve the issue of choosing which account receives card payments.

It relatively improved customer interaction

Pros

The look and experience were key factors for me in choosing PracticePanther. It's incredibly smooth to use, and I can access most of my data whenever I need it. In immigration law, there are many important dates and pieces of information to keep track of, so being able to create all the custom fields I need was a big win. I also love how easy it is to track our bills. We can automatically track who made payments and follow up with anyone we still need to receive from. Giving our clients more transparency shows that we use technology to improve our services.

Cons

There are very few things I don't like about this software. One of the most important things when you want to switch editions is that you have to go back to the customer profile and then back to the editions before switching to a new one. It's very time-consuming because you have to wait for it to load.

Unresponsive support and missing outlook sync

Pros

I've been using this tool for several years and I would not recommend it to any law firm regardless of size.

Cons

Their technical support team is unresponsive and incapable of resolving even basic support problems. More than six months ago the product stopped synchronizing event calendars, tasks and contacts with Microsoft Outlook. The vendor still has no ETA to correct this fundamental flaw which forces our team to duplicate entries in both systems and manually reconcile everything every day.

critical failures

Pros

When this app is functioning it gets the job done. Personally I only rely on it to log my working hours.

Cons

I depend on this tool all day for work and when it malfunctions it fails spectacularly. For example today I had a technical issue: none of my contacts appeared so I couldn't bill any time. I tried calling their number and the system dropped the call every single time even after multiple attempts. Because the chat window advertises 'Our usual reply time: A few hours,' I assumed phone contact would be faster but after five tries with no answer I resorted to using the chat. When someone finally responded, their reply was essentially B.S. which made it obvious they hadn't actually read my question. It's been more than eight hours now and the only follow-up has been, 'Let me take another look and get back with you.' That message was sent three hours ago in the middle of the day when there was plenty of time for real help. I find this level of 'support' completely unacceptable. It reminds me of a crutch that's supposed to help when you've injured your ankle but is six inches tall and missing a rubber sole, technically it's a support but utterly useless in practice. Unfortunately this is the usual pattern whenever something breaks: the company technically has support but it doesn't resolve issues so I've repeatedly had to troubleshoot problems myself instead of logging billable hours. I'm frustrated that this tool which I rely on daily, ends up costing me time rather than saving it. Thanks a lot for that wasted time. Seriously, it's utterly wasted time.

impressive reporting and simple interface

Pros

I'm really impressed by the depth of the reporting it gives me meaningful, detailed insights without being overwhelming. And the fact that it's all delivered through such a simple, clean interface makes accessing and understanding that data feel effortless. It�s powerful where it needs to be and simple where it matters most.

Cons

Although I find customization time-consuming I also feel it's worthwhile in the end.

Fast invoicing with strong reporting

Pros

Automatic intake forms save me much time. Invoicing is very quick and simple. I appreciate the comprehensive reports I can pull to monitor my progress and billables plus the clean interface.

Cons

The tasks feature feels useless to me it's slow and inefficient. I also dislike that I can't link two contacts to a single matter which becomes a problem when retainers are joint. This is something I want implemented ASAP. Also I hate that I can't click 'next' in notes to move between entries easily instead I have to navigate back to the notes list every time right now.

easy-to-use app with secure signatures

Pros

I'm finding the app genuinely easy to use.. it just flows without any friction. And I'm especially pleased that they've added the secure signature feature.. it�s one of those upgrades that feels both thoughtful and immediately useful making tasks that used to require extra steps now feel smooth and secure right within the platform.

Cons

It frustrates me that as an existing LawPay customer I don't receive the service for free the way your newer users do.

So far I have nothing positive to report, they aren't answering my calls or responding through their online support.

Cons

My page header unexpectedly altered and now neither the state nor the ZIP code shows up, even though I didn't make any changes.
