“Easily accessible from anywhere
Pros
Loving the web based nature. It allows me to access it wherever I go. I can enter new services from my car or desk, which helps me manage rush services quickly.
Cons
The affidavits seem unimpressive and bland. The fonts are small and dull. The percentage charged for Stripe integration means I pay twice, once to Stripe and once to ServeManager. I do not like that this fee is based on the billing amount since there is no extra effort on their side for larger invoices. They should consider capping the expense. Currently, I am forced to manually send a Stripe invoice for larger invoices, which defeats the purpose.

“Reliable software
Pros
The performance is impressive. It is designed to fulfill exactly what I need when tracking service of process. There are countless data fields to retain and ServeManager covers everything. The software is easy, making it easy to use with very little training to start working within the platform.
Cons
Perfect software does not exist. Everyone has preconceived ideas about how a platform like this should function. I overcame this by adopting a business practice I often consider, thinking outside the box. When the software does not meet a specific need, I realized there might be an alternative way to achieve my goal. After overcoming some hurdles, I was able to maximize my use of ServeManager and found little lacking. While I believe there are areas for improvement, what ServeManager does well far exceeds its limitations.

Pros
Usability is great and the communication between clients and the support staff makes it enjoyable to work with.
Cons
The price is a concern, it feels expensive to me. I wish we could handle more jobs for the money spent.

I appreciate having everything in one place, we can enter and keep track of our jobs, bill them and create our Affidavits/Proofs of Service all within a single program.
Cons
Generally, I like the changes and new features. It is great that we can call and request features, some of which have been implemented. However, I am not a fan of two recent changes: the colors for Rush jobs and past due jobs. Rush jobs should be red to signify their importance, while past-due jobs should be yellow to indicate they need attention. Additionally, I do not like that job attachments are now centered. We receive many attachments, and having to scroll down a lot to add a note or check job activity is inconvenient. Could this be moved back?

“It's the best choice available
Pros
The folks at ServeManager supported me through every phase of getting a website up and running. With ServeManager, I can upload papers for the servers and monitor the service attempts which lawyers really love.
Cons
At this time, I really have no real complaints about ServeManager.

Pros
The ease of use makes it simple to collaborate with other companies. It keeps track of everything, and the GPS feature is a nice addition that all the servers use.
Cons
I wish there were iOS and Google apps to make things easier instead of having to log onto the internet site to report my attempts.

Pros
It is easy to use and provides all the necessary functions for process serving.
Cons
The only downside I face is being required to pay for changes to the system for proofs or other necessities specific to my company. Since I pay monthly for the service, I believe a handful of free changes per year should be allowed, with fees applied for excessive changes.

“Just what we needed
Pros
This program is fantastic. I love that it is web based allowing access from anywhere. Overall, it is easy to use and set up. Collaborating with other servers who use ServeManager is convenient especially when completing a serve outside my area. This program really simplifies running a business.
Cons
It would be helpful to have a tab under serve status for bad addresses. When logging an attempt as a bad address, it simply shows up as an attempt in ServeManager, which defeats the purpose. A dedicated bad address tab would allow for more accurate tracking of jobs.

“Perfect software for my business growth
Pros
The software's accessibility is something I love! I do not have time for overpriced, outdated, clunky programs that do not provide value. In ServeManager everything was super easy to navigate, and I managed to get my team trained up in just a couple of days. Now, no more missed deadlines or lost invoices, which always means no more lost income. Really well done!
Cons
When creating a job, if I need to add a new item in settings and click on settings, it is when I am unable to return to where I left off and have to start over from the beginning. Though it is not a huge problem and I still love this thing!

“Made things so much simpler
Pros
Transitioning from my old software to ServeManager was straightforward. The software allows for some customization to meet my needs and I especially like the pay by credit card option. Not only do I get paid but the credit card software posts the payment to the job, saving a step and indicating "paid" on the invoice.
Cons
In my area, clients still require the original notarized affidavit of service. After notarization, I need to scan the affidavit to my desktop, email a copy to the client, download the affidavit to the job and then mail the original. It would be great if a feature could be added to attach the affidavit to the invoice and email both simultaneously.

“Has a room for improvement
Pros
The routing and mapping with turn by turn directions is also very easy to use.
Cons
It feels like the mapping has changed. It no longer provides vocal turn-by-turn directions. This forces me to read while driving, which is not ideal. It adds an additional 30 to 60 seconds to each job as our field staff must pull up Google Maps and enter addresses manually. Now, clicking on the address in the platform does nothing more than show steps, lacking audio or turn-by-turn guidance, which is a poor usage experience and increases time on each job.
