helps with better teamwork

Pros

ServeManager is very easy to use and it makes working with other servers and clients much simpler. It cuts down a lot on the back-and-forth emails which saves time and keeps communication more organized.

Cons

The reporting side is a bit limited. I know it's not designed to be accounting software so that makes sense but I'd still love to have more report options for things like server pay and year-over-year stats directly from the overview page. That said they do seem to keep improving the platform over time.

Useful billing support calls

Pros

One thing I really like is how the software ties in with billing and the monthly call I get from Rep to check that our team is doing well is a really nice touch.

Cons

A downside is that jobs with a due date get pushed to the end of the program.

my secret weapon for growth

Pros

Honestly I don't even know where to start. It keeps me, my servers and my business completely organized. There's no way I could manage the amount of work I have without it. Everything stays in order, communication with clients is simple and they keep making the experience even better. Every time I think the software couldn't possibly improve, they release another feature I didn't even realize I wanted and somehow make it better again. I have even had clients leave 5 star reviews for me and specifically mention features I am able to offer because of my secret weapon and that is ServeManager.

Cons

Not really much to complain about. If anything I'd like the option to share attachments like photos directly through the software but I am pretty confident that will show up in a future update. That's one of the best things about it as they're always improving and adding updates.

better collaboration all around

Pros

Working with other process servers and clients is really convenient and staying in sync with everyone is pretty easy too.

Cons

The dropdown menu options could be improved and it would be even better if there were a mobile app available.

Has so many useful tools

Pros

collaboration that just works

Pros

Using ServeManager is like a piece of cake and being able to collaborate with other people makes the whole process even better.

Cons

One limitation is that it only works with a single payment processor and there aren't any lower-tier package options available.

Pros

powerful integrations and support

Pros

Managing jobs in ServeManager has been really easy and the customer support has been outstanding whenever we've needed help. It works exceptionally well on both desktop and mobile devices and the integrations with other apps make everything much more connected. The GPS tracking, photo handling, document security and collaboration tools have also been very useful for our day-to-day work.

Cons

My only real concern is that it can be hard to stand out when other companies are also using it. The invoice templates feel too generic and we really need full customization for invoices as well as more control over the client sharing emails that get sent out.

fast and user-friendly workflow

Pros

Getting into the system and entering or pulling up information is really quick and the whole platform feels very user friendly to work with.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see improved is the invoicing section especially making it simpler to issue invoices for clients who are on a two-week billing cycle.

clean layout and thoughtful updates

Pros

The clean and simple design makes the program pleasant to use. They recently updated some of the color schemes too which gives it a more polished and attractive look. Everything is organized well and simple to find. I also appreciate that they keep improving the software to stay current with what users actually need, without stuffing it with unnecessary or gimmicky features.

Cons

There really isn't much that bothers me. If I had to point out one thing, it would be helpful to have a single button that bundles up a full client package at once, like the affidavit, invoice and a copy of the summons to send back to the client. It can be done now but it takes a few extra steps. Also, many process serving companies handle surveillance so it would be useful to have another option in the drop-down menu besides unsuccessful attempt. At the moment the workaround is to go into the affidavit and add your notes there as you go.

simple, affordable and customizable

Pros

After trying three or four other options, I ended up sticking with ServeManager. As it was easy to use, the pricing worked well for us and the customization options were a big plus. On top of that the customer service has been really helpful.

Cons

The only downside is that, for some reason, we seem to run into an issue almost every time an update is released.

Love the responsive support

Pros

Having every attempt and service GPS tracked has been a huge plus for us and being able to pull up all records either on a desktop or remotely from handheld devices makes the system even more useful. The database is clean, uncluttered, fast and simple to move through. We also really appreciate being able to work directly with clients and service companies through the online portal. On top of that the ServeManager team is incredibly responsive whenever questions or issues come up, we usually get an email reply within minutes.

Cons

The only real downside is that you cannot search older jobs by street address alone to pull up previous work at a specific location. That said we rarely need to do that and it's still quick to find what we need by using other details like the name, case number and similar search options.

handy tracking, limited batching

Pros

It's pretty easy to keep up with work from attorneys and pro per clients using this tool. Overall it is simple to use for the basic tracking I need and right now that's really all I use it for.

Cons

One thing that gets in the way is not being able to update the status of several jobs at the same address at the same time.

Is always accurate

Pros

The standout part of ServeManager is the GPS. It's very accurate, keeps everyone accountable and makes it simple to locate a case quickly.

Cons

What I would still like added is some kind of initial contract when a job comes in.

reporting feels too limited

Pros

ServeManager feels fairly limited overall but a few parts are still useful. The most helpful features are the status updates sent from servers and shared with clients. I also appreciate the affidavit form that automatically uploads service attempts, along with the ability to share all case details with both servers and clients.

Cons

Reporting is the biggest frustration because it is confusing, not very user friendly and overall too limited. For a long time, there was no way to assign multiple servers to a single job which created unnecessary issues. Another problem is the client email updates as they do not include the plaintiff's name in the subject line. The order number also does not mean anything within their case or filing system so having the plaintiff's name in the email subject is something we really need.

Fast uploads and flexible invoicing

Pros

When time is short, this software really helps keep things moving. Uploading and downloading are fast, the whole process is simple and I can get tasks done efficiently. I also use the invoicing feature for more than just process serving and it works better than other options I have tried.

Cons

Nothing specific comes to mind in terms of extra features I still need.

paperwork lifesaver for servers

Pros

Running a process serving business involves a lot of paperwork and this software has been incredibly helpful for keeping everything organized and under control. The GPS Attempts feature is especially useful and there are plenty of other tools that make the job easier. Invoicing is simple and overall there's a lot here to appreciate.

Cons

The one thing I'd really love is the ability to track my other non-process-serving jobs as well. A built-in mileage tracker tied to service attempts would also be a fantastic addition.

Good tool!

Pros

ServeManager lets you handle the entire job process, from the initial work all the way through to getting the invoice paid.

Cons

Well I'd really like to see a dedicated mobile app. The mobile site is fairly simple to log into but having a quick-access app would likely boost productivity for servers.
