“Good for groups and uploads
Pros
Being able to enroll multiple users at once as a group is something I really value. I find uploading courses simple, and it's handy that you can toggle them active or inactive whenever needed. Viewing users' transcripts is simple and I also appreciate the flexibility to upload a variety of learning materials and whether they're resource files, videos or full e-learning modules.
Cons
Honestly, I wish the system made it easier to export detailed activity reports. Right now it's difficult to pull granular data showing exactly who took which courses, when they started and completed them, and other user-specific progress markers. I would really like more powerful, comprehensive reporting features that break everything down with timestamps, completion statuses, and individual user details so audits are simpler.

“Simple design with helpful Create tool
Pros
One thing I really like is how simple the user interface feels and I've found it Create feature to be very helpful for my daily workflow.
Cons
I'd love for the course builder to offer more developer integration options instead of being limited to just SCORMs and TinCan.

“Saves time but migration was hard
Pros
Daily integration downloads run smoothly for both end users and managers which I find really reliable. I also appreciate the automatic enrollment and re-enrollment rules since they save a huge amount of time. Building interactive dashboards in Analyze is simple and the catalog's course self-enrollment makes it simple for learners to discover and sign up for the courses they need.
Cons
Migrating from our legacy system became a real headache for me and my team, we ended up manually entering course attributes and uploading content one item at a time. The standard reporting tools fall short when I need fuller insights, like tracking multi-course enrollments or aggregating analytics across several users. I noticed the admin interface has some translation problems, particularly with French terms that aren't properly localized. Their implementation timeline felt rigid and didn't match our internal project schedule, coming across as a one-size-fits-all approach. On top of that, the admin training they provided was pretty inadequate, so I had to learn most of the platform's quirks through trial and error, which cost us time and patience.

“Great for first time eLearners
Pros
The implementation was fairly easy, and all the staff communicated well and got things done within our budget.
Cons
We should have done more training on the Create portion before implementation.

“awsome help from many places
Pros
I have been really impressed with the customer support team here, they go above and beyond. They've put together a solid set of resources to support our training needs, Absorb Academy is excellent for getting me and my team up to speed on the platform and the Help Center is handy when specific problems crop up. To top it off, our Client Success Manager, Joel has been exceptional at keeping us in the loop about new features, product releases and LMS updates.
Cons
There are still a few bugs I've come across and it took me some time to really get comfortable with certain functionality, for example, the manager experience has a learning curve and required extra effort to understand fully.

“Big team, fast help, tricky tools
Pros
It handles our enormous team of more than 10,000 users. We keep a huge library of multimedia for training on the platform and it processes and serves everything without hiccups. Whenever problems pop up, customer support responds fast and consistently puts in the effort to resolve issues promptly.
Cons
It can feel overly complicated at times, with so many settings that newer sub-administrators often feel overwhelmed or shy away from using it effectively. On top of that, the quiz features are a real headache, when I delete a question from a question bank it unexpectedly breaks every course completion tied to that bank which makes maintaining our expanding pool of questions really cumbersome. I'd also like a simple way to view all questions and answers at once or to export the whole set to a .csv file, because those capabilities would make managing and auditing our content much easier.

“Great Training and Resource Platform
Pros
how many customization choices there are, the platform lets me shape features and workflows with a level of flexibility that suits our team's exact requirements.
Cons
Sometimes it's really frustrating when core, basic functions I assume will exist are missing or behave unreliably, because that interrupts my workflow and feels like a step backward.

“Big time-saver for signing up
Pros
That bulk enrollment feature that lets me sign many associates up for several courses at once has been an enormous time-saver for me.
Cons
I find it frustrating to try and make bulk changes to settings because I usually end up tweaking each option one by one rather than updating everything together.

“Easy courses and great help
Pros
Honestly, the Salesforce integration has been a total game-changer for our team, being able to open and access courses directly inside Salesforce has smoothed out a lot of friction and made day-to-day operations much simpler. On top of that, creating and administering courses as an admin is refreshingly simple, it's interactive enough that we didn't have to wrestle with difficulty. Our implementation with David was outstanding, he walked us through every phase, kept us looped in and made sure we had the confidence to switch over to the new system. Everywhere I look, customer support has been top-notch too, handling both technical development questions and billing matters with real competence.
Cons
The main improvement I'd like to see is for those beautiful design tweaks and visual customizations to persist when users move between the app and Salesforce, it would be great if the look and feel carried over smoothly.

“Absorb Gets the Job Done
Pros
customer service experience is exceptional. Submitting tickets is easy and the support crew is always helpful and replies very promptly.
Cons
We've found the revamped interface somewhat disorienting. Because we already have a preferred method for organizing courses, this update has forced us to alter our normal setup routine, which hasn't been easy to get used to and has felt quite frustrating.

“Solid choice after two years
Pros
I really value that this platform fulfills its main role as an LMS. What impresses me most is how the team genuinely listens to user feedback and steadily rolls out improvements along with useful new features. Our customer success manager, Stephanie Berry has been outstanding, she gets back to me quickly and takes the time to help me handle the administrative tasks I'm responsible for.
Cons
Personally, I find the interface clunky and not very interactive for our staff or administrators. Its quite hard to use, so I've had to carve out time to figure out how all the pieces work and feel comfortable using the system.

“easy to use, slow to change
Pros
It is very easy to use and learn quickly, the admin interface is also simple and pleasant to use.
Cons
when I need specific features, development feels slow and I think components like testing modules and the question bank need considerable and urgent improvement.

“Solid value for the money
Pros
I love how simple it is to build courses and incorporate various types of content, the platform's adaptability is outstanding for my needs.
Cons
When it comes to reporting, the tool feels awkward and difficult to use, I wish there were simpler, faster ways to generate reports because the existing workflow takes far too long and isn't interactive at all.

“good support but tricky to learn
Pros
I appreciate the customer service and training they offer. The person I'm paired with at Absorb consistently makes me feel supported, and whenever an issue pops up it's handled quickly and efficiently.
Cons
At first it took me quite a long time to become comfortable with all the features but after I learned the system's workflow it really became much easier and fairly interactive to use.

“worth the price
Pros
Within about ten minutes of our first trial I could tell the admin interface was incredibly interactive, I honestly felt we weren't going to find anything better. I really like that I can tweak report criteria right on the same page without having to open extra tabs. Everything feels snappy as well, enrollment updates appear in real time and I can immediately see total counts and detailed breakdowns. Customer support has been outstanding and our initial implementation took a tiny fraction of the time it did with our previous platform. When we launched our Document Management System we needed a second implementation which was a major undertaking but wrapped up on schedule. I also appreciate how the Analyze BI add-on meshes simplely with the main interface without requiring third-party tools or specific operating systems, it runs perfectly on my Mac. Even though the BI tool isn't really targeted at mobile, the admin interface remains usable on my phone which lets me respond quickly when I'm away from my desk. Financially, even after adding Analyze, our overall cost ended up lower than what we paid before while delivering far more features. The user tiers are sensible for businesses and there are no hidden charges and I've noticed several important new features rolled out in the short time we've been customers.
Cons
I find the tabular reports have some fairly annoying limitations that get in the way. The Analyze BI tool addresses most of those gaps, but in my view it's far too pricey as an add-on. On top of that, there's no way to schedule enrollments for specific dates which is genuinely inconvenient for our planning needs.

“very simple to use
Pros
I find the interface very simple and logical, navigation is simple and never confusing. Their support site is loaded with useful materials, like a thorough knowledge base and training videos that clearly walk you through features. Whenever I've raised a support ticket, it was handled quickly. The learners I work with like that it automatically tracks their progress which helps keep everyone motivated.
Cons
I think the reporting tools are fairly basic, if I want anything more powerful I'll have to pay extra for their Data Analytics add-on which is frustrating. On top of that, syncing user updates with ADP has been a constant headache for me, it doesn't sync smoothly and often requires manual fixes or extra steps to get things up to date.

“Easy to share my own work
Pros
I am really pleased that I can build my own content and distribute it to our users on this platform. I found the interface easy to pick up, within a short time I was comfortable using it and didn't need much formal training to get productive.
Cons
At the moment, nothing springs to mind, I've found it to be consistently solid so far.

“Smooth start with great support
Pros
Honestly, the interface is so simple that I didn't need much training to get rolling. I've also found there are loads of clear docs and tutorials I can turn to whenever necessary. And whenever I've had questions, the support team has been quick to help and very knowledgeable.
Cons
I do find the eCommerce features awkward and not as smooth as I'd hoped, which makes that part of the product feel less polished than the rest.

“Helps manage my courses well
Pros
I'm finding this platform really interactive and easy to use. Pulling up reports about course activity is simple and I appreciate the automatic reminder emails that go out for unfinished courses. Overall, it makes handling course management much more efficient for me.
Cons
Sometimes learning all the new features after updates feels overwhelming, and I often get the sense that I'm not taking advantage of everything this tool can do. I know this is mostly on me and just requires some time to get used to, rather than being an actual issue with the software itself.
