Smooth operations with minor hiccups

Pros

I have continually been blown away by how responsive and patient the support team is. Every time I've needed help they're happy to walk me through troubleshooting, even when the issue was totally my fault and every person I've interacted with has been sincerely friendly. Their communication stands out, I receive quick replies whenever I contact them, and they routinely go the extra mile to help in any way possible. I really value their level of service.

Cons

Sometimes I find the interface isn't as simple in certain places and I notice occasional small glitches that end up slowing things down.

great user experience every time

Pros

Having a dedicated customer success manager I can reach out to with questions has been very helpful. Being new to administering an LMS, I found the platform's interface very interactive and simple to move through.

Cons

At first I had trouble getting support because of timezone differences but when I requested it they moved me to a local CSM. The 'Message user' feature desperately needs Dynamic Fields support, adding that would significantly improve how it fits into our workflow.

easy every day and gets better

Pros

The admin interface is os smooth, I got the hang of it quickly and now use it easyly every day. What really impresses me is the team's ongoing dedication to improving the platform. Working with our Client Success Manager has been excellent, they keep me in the loop about new functionality and collaborate with us to fine-tune the system for our particular workflows. I am also pleasantly surprised by how cleanly it integrates with the authoring tools and other resources we already rely on which saves time and reduces friction.

Cons

I'd like certain features to be more configurable to match our unique business requirements. That said, I know learning management systems are always evolving, and it's clear the development team is working hard to roll out improvements. Still, I'd personally value clearer communication around updates, specifically, details about what's changed and concrete timelines for when those changes are actually deployed live.

Pros

What I love most is how reachable Stephanie, our CSM, is whenever I need help, she's consistently ready to lend a hand.

Cons

I am frustrated that the default number of items displayed per page is fixed and I can't change that setting myself.

The complete package: Friendly staff and an excellent learning experience

Pros

Absorb LMS has been a great platform for us to deliver and track trainings. It has led to increased compliance. The employee onboarding process has been improved with the use of curriculums. The additional professional development options have increased employee satisfaction. The support is one of my favorite aspects of the Absorb LMS. I have always had friendly, helpful interactions when submitting support tickets. Our client success managers and account managers have always been top notch!

Cons

The default reporting and data export options from the administrator interface may not always allow reporting across all desired data points, indicating potential limitations in the native reporting capabilities.

great first system for us

My go to tool for everyday use

Pros

Its very easy to use when I'm creating interactive training materials. It's simple to monitor who is enrolled at any time, and I can quickly send reminders to attendees. May, our implementation specialist, was wonderful to collaborate with during the entire setup process!

Cons

I'd like to see improved team roll-up reporting, it would be much more helpful to have a single scorecard that shows everyone's performance at a glance, rather than having to open each individual's record one by one.

best support ever!

Pros

the customer service and tech support, whenever I face a problem, I know I can count on my CSM or their support portal to provide the assistance I need.

Cons

I don't have any significant grievances, if an issue arises, I usually receive assistance fairly fast and reliably.

Fits our many needs perfectly

Pros

With such detailed settings and options, it's ideally suited to our diverse learner population. I can target and arrange content across different departments with ease thanks to these capabilities. What really impressed me from day one was the interface, the layout has a subtle elegance that immediately grabbed our attention and matched exactly what our business was searching for.

Cons

Even so, the sheer breadth of configurable options sometimes overwhelms me. More often than I'd like, I end up reaching out to my product manager for settings that are plainly visible on the screen, because they get buried among the many other choices available.

Strong team makes it great

Pros

One thing our team really notices is the outstanding support staff and they're the reason this platform stands out. The software itself runs smoothly, but having Stephanie Berry as our CSM elevates everything. She's always reachable and replies quickly to whatever I put on her plate. When she doesn't have an answer right away, she actually investigates to understand what's going on instead of brushing it off. The regular check-ins we do make sure the platform continues to develop in ways that consistently fit our exact needs.

Cons

I find that a handful of features can be awkward to use, particularly the Zoom connections and the evaluation flows. There are occasional odd little glitches that pop up from time to time but none of them are serious enough to be a dealbreaker.

Good tools but old look

Pros

I have been really impressed by how powerful the course-building features are, they let me tailor content and tests so they line up perfectly with our training style. The analytics panel is something I lean on a lot, it simplifies tracking learners' progress and helps me quickly identify who is falling behind. Also I have to compliment their support team, whenever I send a question they respond really fast and helpfully.

Cons

My only con is that I find the user interface stuck in the past, it comes across as dated and can be tricky for people who are new to the platform. The way things are arranged right now adds unnecessary friction and makes common tasks more complicated than they ought to be.

Top Service and Support

Pros

their customer support is outstanding, the staff are consistently courteous and easy to chat with. Whenever I reach out, they get back to me promptly and take the time to ensure I fully grasp their advice and the specific steps I need to follow to tailor our configuration.

Cons

Overall, I don't have any significant complaints but I would love to see the survey layout tools updated, they feel dated and could definitely benefit from a visual refresh and some improved functionality.

Adaptable solution with great flexibility

Pros

Being able to standardize training across our whole organization has been a game-changer for me. We're able to offer a variety of course formats and combine off-the-shelf training packages with tailored content that reflects our industry's needs and different locations. What truly impresses me is how amazing it is and staff at all levels can use it easily and without any trouble.

Cons

Built-in reporting does the job, but I find there's still far too much manual handling for my taste. I'm planning to bring in the Analyze module so our team can uncover more detailed insights without having to do all the manual work ourselves.

Met my high hopes

Pros

After years of keeping this on our wish list, when we finally decided to move ahead my expectations were high, and both the implementation team and the LMS functionality went beyond what I had hoped for.

Cons

I haven't come across any real downsides so far and I value that I can propose new features and improvements through their ideas portal.

Powerful software with excellent features

Pros

Having all of our training records and certificates centralized in one place makes my life so much simpler and everything I need is available exactly when I need it. The interface feels interactive and easy to use, which takes a lot of friction out of daily tasks. Support has been excellent, particularly when they step in to workaround specific product limitations. In my case Tamar was a huge help with a complicated issue I faced. After joining an Office Hours session she kept following up on several items until we landed on the correct fix. There are plenty of support channels too & their help desk, office hours and a public feedback platform all make getting assistance simple.

Cons

I'm held back by a few irritating limitations. For example, externally issued certificates only have limited visibility, and that lack of transparency bugs me when I need to verify things. The available course formats are too narrow, mostly just ILC and online which doesn't cover everything our organization requires. It also fails to track course requirement specifics per user like whether a course is a single-instance obligation or required for periodic recertification. Reporting is also lacking, because I can't pull fine-grained reports for individual courses, only high-level summaries across all offerings.

Simple design and nice team

Pros

The clean, minimal layout really suits me, using most sections via the various menu choices is simple and I appreciate the enhanced admin dashboard as an added benefit. The support crew has been outstanding as well. Our CSM, Melissa Wu is remarkable and honestly I find myself hoping she could oversee all of our SaaS tools.

Cons

The API interactions need work, particularly around the reviewer panel endpoints, that's been the feedback our IT developers have been constantly passing along to me.

Solid Performance Overall

Pros

It is incredibly easy and packed with features that really boost how our team connects and stay flexible. We were stuck with an old system that felt very restrictive, it couldn't support instructor-led sessions and had no internal alerts to let learners know about upcoming classes. Being able to tailor the branding so the environment feels focused is something I really appreciate. The tiles look tidy and simple for learners and there are useful tools that let people add sessions straight into their calendars and receive automated messages about events and where they stand in a course. The ongoing support has been a lifesaver. Our sales and support reps have been outstanding partners, more than a year and a half in, we still have weekly check-ins to keep things running well. When we rolled out a large new HRIS that caused major churn, we had a dedicated team guiding us through the chaos. I also value how well the platform pulls in different content types. Whether I'm uploading SCORM packages, videos or other learning assets, the system handles them reliably and presents them responsively across phones, tablets and desktops. All things considered, I think it's a great option for organizations wanting to run structured learning programs.

Cons

One issue I've noticed is that some course images look a bit pixelated. I'm not sure whether that's caused by the responsive layout trying to scale visuals across many device sizes or if the graphics aren't being optimized enough during content creation. Either way, I think dedicating extra time to polish the visual assets and improve image quality would make the courses feel more professional and enhance the overall learning experience.

Quick tool to train our team

Pros

With the Create Tool, we've got everything required to deploy training across our whole team fast. I'm genuinely impressed by how interactive the interface is and the reporting tools really help keep folks involved. Our client success manager, Stephen has been a tremendous resource and knowledgeable and always supportive during our time using the platform.

Cons

It's annoying that the Manager tab doesn't fill in automatically when someone signs up with an enrollment key, I have to add them manually each time which slows things down.

great help & fits with our tools

Pros

support team is genuinely helpful whenever I need a hand. The integration options are flexible and plug into our current systems without issue. There's a surprisingly broad set of features to choose from and I find the interface easy and interactive to use.

Cons

So far, I haven't run into a case where it hasn't lived up to my expectations, nothing has really disappointed me in regular use.

Excellent Multi-Location Learning Management

Pros

It's very user friendly tool, uploading content and customizing almost everything feels so interactive that it really aligns my work. Being able to tweak the site's look and create separate homepages for different departments has genuinely changed the way we organize things. It integrates into every part of our learning ecosystem, from operational training to compliance learning and new hire onboarding and it sits nicely alongside the content creation tools we already use. The customized curriculum feature is a standout for learners and makes enrolling users much faster than before. Building site-specific and department-specific reports is simple, and the breadth of data available gives me the confidence to make evidence-based decisions about where to allocate resources. Those detailed reports help me zero in on development needs for teams and individuals, which leads to more focused interventions and personalized training plans. That targeted approach saves time and has a clear impact on cost efficiency. Customer support has been excellent too, they respond quickly, know the product well and have helped us maximize what the system can do.

Cons

I'd love to see more granular reporting for questions embedded inside e-learning SCORM packages, instead of only the basic pass/fail results we get today. It would be incredibly useful to understand which specific items learners are getting right or wrong, though I do recognize that some of this hinges on how the SCORM file itself was authored. If the system could provide the same level of question-level detail we see with native question banks, tracking problem areas and tailoring follow-up training would be much more effective for me.
