I couldn't ask for anything better when it comes to progressive learning and excelling within a business.

Pros

This learning management system (LMS) is incredibly helpful for enhancing the business and customer focus. It feels almost tailor-made for cloud-based content.

Cons

The pricing is a concern, especially for small businesses. The monthly cost per active user can be high, which may not be feasible for solo entrepreneurs or small teams.

Best but price is not clear

Pros

Over my career I've rolled out numerous LMS platforms and this one genuinely ranks at the top of the premium bunch. From the first sales conversations through to rolling it out across several countries, I felt consistently supported and guided. What stood out to me was how it balances deep configurability with an interactive interface, it feels powerful but not cumbersome to use.

Cons

I find the pricing setup really hard to follow, between the initial setup charges, fees for API integrations, platform licensing, and a bunch of other hidden line items, I can never get a clear picture of what my bill actually covers. Compared with lower-cost LMSs, it often feels like a big slice just ends up as their profit. Support also becomes a weak point pretty quickly once you move beyond their out-of-the-box academy material. In my experience the team gets defensive if I call out limitations or try to probe problems more deeply which makes resolving issues painful. Troubleshooting API connections with other systems can drag on for ages, and I've noticed replies from support can shift into a passive-aggressive tone when things stall. On top of that, searching the course library is quite basic which is irritating when I'm trying to work with external content libraries and need precise results.

Reports that work for big teams

Pros

the automated reporting tools are game-changer for our organization. Managing more than 1,000 learners means dozens of managers rely on up-to-the-minute information about curriculum and course progress and this system delivers all of that easyly.

Cons

I wish there were an option to hide deactivated courses in the Course Summary, having to export the data to Excel every time I want a cleaner view is quite a tedious extra step.

Good reports!

Pros

the reporting features are very helpful, especially because I can customize them to fit my needs and set up automated schedules so they run on their own.

Cons

To be honest, it's often hard for me to make sense of the invoice charges and why they're listed, the itemized breakdown doesn't always explain things clearly.

Boosts training with great help

Pros

Honestly, I'm constantly amazed at how it boosts our professional development programs and improves the learning experience for everyone in our community. The features are something I brag about, colleagues hear me bring them up during training sessions and in day-to-day work. What really makes a difference, though is the support, Stephanie Berry in particular is incredibly quick to respond and consistently eager to help us find solutions whenever they come up.

Cons

The admin dashboard really needs more customization so I can surface key data and reporting highlights right away. As an admin, I'm frequently building reports because the information isn't presented up front. There's also a real missed opportunity with the "Engage" tab, I can't actually measure user engagement like how many learners clicked on news posts or interacted with content. It feels misleading to label it "Engage" when I don't have meaningful engagement metrics to work with.

awsome support & smooth work

Pros

I've had an outstanding experience with our Success Team, some of the best customer support I've ever faceed from any LMS provider. The platform's native features align everyday administrative work, making tasks much easier for both our group and the corporate staff.

Cons

My main problem isn't with the platform itself, rather, it's that certain enhancements either take ages to be rolled out or still haven't been addressed and that's the biggest annoyance for me.

Outstanding LMS with incredible support

Pros

Honestly what I value most about this platform is how interactive it is, both my team and the people we train pick it up quickly without needing much instruction. The layout feels natural, so when questions do come up we can resolve them quickly. It seems built with both administrators and learners in mind and that shows in the consistently positive feedback we get from our clients. On top of that, their customer support has been exceptional. The support team is prompt and really goes the extra mile, whether we need a new feature developed or help troubleshooting an issue. We have weekly check-ins with Stephen who keeps us informed about new features and answers any questions that come up. He's been incredibly helpful and honestly everyone I've worked with there provides exactly the kind of support you want when managing an LMS.

Cons

If I am being picky, there isn't much to complain about, I really can't think of any meaningful downsides. This LMS covers everything our company needs and we haven't experienced any major issues.

Better info for leaders

Pros

Our leadership team now enjoys far better access to data. In the past our administrator was essentially a choke point, leaders couldn't obtain the reports they needed unless those passed through them first. With the manager dashboard and customizable admin permissions in place, department heads can pull the information they need themselves without having to wait.

Cons

I find the reporting tools fall short, at the moment I can only view direct reports instead of everyone under a manager's full hierarchy which makes it hard to assemble a complete picture of team performance for compliance audits. I also really need a functioning overdue status flag, the current indicator doesn't reliably show what's past due.

Fast help from top guide

Pros

What I find most valuable about this platform is definitely our case manager, Stephanie Berry. She replies incredibly fast and routinely shares additional articles to ensure nothing is missed. Having overseen many programs in the past, I can say she's the best direct support I've ever worked with.

Cons

We've run into a few limitations in the system that can be annoying. Reporting feels fairly basic, I'd like to be able to generate comprehensive lists of all pending compliance courses instead of checking individual users or courses one by one. Also, not being able to turn on course messages retroactively has caused workflow headaches for our team.

Strong partnership with supportive team

Pros

the interface is easy to get around and I've consistently found customer support to be excellent whenever I've needed assistance. It genuinely makes using the product simple and pleasant.

Cons

What frustrates me is the absence of a direct connector to our HRIS, Workday, I'd really like to see that added. I'm also hoping they roll out more LXP-style features and the mobile app needs to be much more capable because both end users and admins require a fully featured mobile experience.

Simple to use but reports cost more

Pros

I Love the ui, so going through the system is easy for both admins and learners. I really like how clear and simple everything is when I'm using it.

Cons

The included reporting tools are severely lacking and it bothers me that I need to pay extra to get capabilities that feel like they should come standard. I'm especially annoyed because our business partners require much more detailed, flexible reports than what is offered out of the box.

Easy upload but no calendar

Pros

I can upload all our virtual courses into the platform without trouble, which keeps handling training resources very simple.

Cons

I'd want calendar syncing for ILCs, since it would really help with scheduling and organization.

Top notch support team!

Pros

What I love most is that they constantly roll out updates driven by the feedback I and my team give them. The support crew is outstanding, they consistently go out of their way to assist whenever we run into issues. Seriously, everyone I've worked with there has been a pleasure to collaborate with, they've all been professional, responsive and focused on helping us succeed.

Cons

I'm annoyed by having to switch back and forth between the Admin and Manager dashboards during my day-to-day. My hope is that as development continues they'll simplify access so users like me won't have to hold both admin and manager permissions just to reach all the features we rely on.

Absorb LMS

Pros

Our experiences and support from our Success Team are by far some of the best Customer Service we have experienced with an LMS vendor. The out of the box funtionality makes the day to day tasks of our Admin so much easier as well as our corporate team.

Cons

We don't dislike Absorb, we dislike that some enhancements take too long to rollout or aren't already addressed by Absorb but otherwise there is nothing we dislike.

Absorb LMS is a clean, intuitive, yet POWERFUL LMS.

Pros

Absorb's both the User and Admin Experience is so simple and intuitive. The admin tools are clearly defined and laid out, yet the functionality makes it still powerful. Integration - We used the Scheduled Data Imports and Exports to connect with our HR. The out of the box reporting is a little cumbersome when trying to view more than one course at a time. It's good for medium to large-sized companies that want an engaging and easy-to-use platform while still maintaining powerful admin tools.

Cons

Organizations with highly specific or unique training requirements may find that Absorb LMS has limitations in terms of customization
