“Always helpful!
Pros
Absorb is modern and easy to use. The help desk is typically responsive and always helpful. I have been using the system for about a year now and am happy with its function!
Cons
I wish there was a better survey/evaluation system in place. Folks rarely complete the evaluations post-course completion.

“User friendly & easy to manage
Pros
Auto-generated reports are a lifesaver for my org. Having over 1K learners, it leaves a lot of Managers that need to know learner status on a curriculum/course.
Cons
Wish I could remove deactivated courses from the Course Summary view. It's an annoying extra for me to download into excel and delete.

“Absorb is the best - an outstanding LMS with amazing customer support!
Pros
Absorb is an easy-to-use and straightforward LMS, which enhances the user experience and results in positive feedback from our users and clients. Because of the easy-to-use platform for the system admins, any issues or confusion that users may experience are quickly resolved. It is structured for both system admins and users to be set up for success. As a result, the positive feedback and user satisfaction we receive as it pertains to the experience our users have with the LMS speaks volumes to us that we chose the perfect LMS for our company. Also, customer support is one of Absorbs strengths. The support team is extremely responsive and always willing to go the extra mile to help support us, whether it be to add a feature or to troubleshoot. In fact, we have a standing meeting every week with Stephen from Absorb. This meeting allows us to learn about new features and to discuss any questions we have. Stephen is super responsive and helpful in resolving any questions we have. Everyone that I have interacted with from Absorb has been top-notch as far as providing the kind of support you would want when managing an LMS.
Cons
There are no downsides to using Absorb. It is an LMS that adequately and efficiently solves the needs of our company.

Pros
Easy to use and user-friendly. The out-of-the-box features that Absorb provides are most useful.

“Changing the education landscape
Pros
This platform takes the CAR's CPD offerings to the next level and improves the overall learning experience for our members and the radiology community at large. While attending my own professional development (or even in my daily encounters), I'm constantly boasting the features of our LMS and the excellent support I receive from the Absorb team, namely Stepanie Berry. She is super responsive and always willing to help find solutions.
Cons
While most of the dashboard can be customized for the user (learner), I would like to see expanded features which allow for the customization of the admin dashboard, to display data and customized key reporting highlights. More information should be readily available for admins, rather than having to constantly create "reports".Also, the ability to assess the features/content access under the "Engage" tab; it's a missed opportunity as well as a misnomer to call the features listed under "Engage" and not have the ability to actually evaluate or track user engagement. For example, how many learners clicked or "engaged" with the News posts, etc.

“Absorbs LMS Exceeds the Needs at our Treatment Centres
Pros
We are an organization of fewer than 1000 people and Absorb LMS is well-suited to our current needs for onboarding, discipline-specific training, sharing resources for all staff, tracking course activity, and documenting eve. Absorb LMS is the only LMS we have used and we made the selection based on recommendations from other Learning and Development Professionals in our industry.
Cons
The cost-effectiveness of Absorb LMS in comparison to other solutions is not mentioned. Evaluating the cost-effectiveness of the platform, especially in relation to the features it offers, is crucial for long-term financial sustainability

“Absorb simplifies the LMS experience for admins and users alike!
Pros
I use Absorb to create and manage training content for a data science software company. Our software is powerful and intricate- high-quality training is essential to our customer and employee success. The admin reporting dashboard is amazing. Customizing widgets with course stats for our courses allows us to see visual representations of our progress immediately upon login. I have used Absorb for product training and think it works well for that- anyone looking to train users- internal or external would have success.
Cons
Depending on the organization's needs, there might be a necessity for more granular and in-depth reporting beyond the visual representations provided by widgets.

“Great all-around LMS
Pros
Absorb LMS is a great tool for an HR department wanting to provide compliance training. The ability to integrate with other course creation vendors (LinkedIn Learning, MinistrySafe, custom integrations, etc.. User-friendliness. We have saved countless hours with the ability to automate our enrollment process. The reporting, passed due notifications, and ability for supervisors to see/follow up with their direct reports has helped ensure compliance. The ability to integrate with
Cons
Reporting; I set this as an area that Absorb is doing well, but it's also an area that I would like to see more customization in. There are a lot of built-in reporting capabilities, but it would be nice to have more Salesforce-esque reporting capabilities

“Quick responses
Pros
I appreciate having instant access to solutions and also the support site, which is packed with helpful articles and FAQs. When I can't find what I need, submitting a ticket is simple and responses come back quickly.
Cons
The reporting features need work. Generating "Answers reports" isn't very user-friendly at all. I'd prefer if these reports could be organized by individual user responses instead of being stuck in question order which makes finding specific information more difficult.

“Lots of built-in features
Pros
The course loading environment is really flexible but still gives you a solid foundation with tons of built-in features. Mercury module lets us craft unique looks for different client types. What I really appreciate is how you can organize courses into curriculums, groupings and departments, plus customize all the rules and management settings for each one. Makes user management so much smoother.
Cons
Haven't run into many problems though I did hit some confusion with image sizing for our custom billboards as the labels were off and I had to figure out the actual dimensions myself or everything looked stretched out.

“Simple to build courses
Pros
Building courses and managing users couldn't be simpler. The admin interface makes everything easy. Setting up new courses is quick and getting team members up to speed on the backend happens in no time.
Cons
The permission system has some frustrating limitations. You can't set access controls for entire folders or categories, only for individual courses and resources. Most availability rules work one way instead of giving you both inclusive and exclusive options. Everything gets sorted alphabetically automatically, which isn't always what you want for organizing content.

“Reliable solution!!
Pros
Very reliable and I really appreciate how flexible everything is, especially with the New Learner Experience interface. Customer service stands out too. They're always there to help me with issues.
Cons
What really bothers me is that users can't unenroll themselves from courses when they accidentally sign up. They're stuck until an admin helps them out. The HTML editor is terrible too. Even when I write clean HTML5 code, the platform doesn't save most of it properly. My webmaster who assisted with our New Learner Experience upgrade totally agreed that the built-in HTML editor is pretty weak and frustrating to work with.

“Easy to train members
Pros
Setting up courses is not hard and getting new team members started doesn't take long at all. What I really appreciate is how we can customize the branding. Our users just see it as "N2 University" and have no idea they're using Absorb underneath.
Cons
I wish there was more flexibility in how courses and resources are arranged. Right now everything's just alphabetical which can be limiting. Also, the search function in the Catalog could definitely use some work to make finding things easier.

“Satisfied with the performance
Pros
I appreciate how flexible the Enterprise model is for our course deployment. We work with multiple companies and each one gets its own department setup. What's great is being able to customize the experience for individual departments or groups. The admin system is also well thought out since we can assign administrators to specific departments and give them the exact permissions they need.
Cons
I wish we could schedule enrollments ahead of time. There's definitely room for improvement though overall I'm really pleased with how everything works. One challenge in any learning setup is giving students the freedom to skip around and find what they need while still tracking if they actually spent enough time on a lesson to count it as finished. But I think thats because we're not using a SCORM wrapper so I get why there's that limitation.

“easy to add assessments
Pros
Love how simple it is to build new courses and add assessments, plus importing third-party SCORM files works smoothly. The ability to impersonate learners has been helpful for troubleshooting issues and testing functionality that I might miss from an admin perspective.
Cons
The reporting features have improved over time but there's definitely room for more growth. I'm hoping to see more detailed information in the learner transcript reports going forward.

“Professional support
Pros
I was impressed with how they handled our onboarding process. Since we were completely new to LMS platforms, their team really helped us get up to speed with training and answered every question we had. After going live, support has been awesome. They are professional and well-trained. Having a dedicated customer experience rep makes me feel like we're truly valued as a client.
Cons
Hard to find any real complaints about this platform.
