“Endless creative possibilities!
Pros
The creative possibilities are endless. It is like a PowerPoint presentation but a hundred times more powerful.
Cons
There is nothing to report. The platform was very easy to understand.

“creative power for non-coders
Pros
Even without a technical background, you can genuinely get creative and build great e-learning content. The interface feels a lot like Microsoft PowerPoint so it's quick for most people to pick up. I've also found that using the trigger wizard helps develop more logical thinking as you build, it guides you through the process in a way that just makes sense.
Cons
If I'm being honest, the lack of native Mac support is a bit of a pain as I have to run it through a virtual machine. I've also had learners comment that some courses feel slower or heavier than others. And since I'm creating content in Korean, I regularly run into issues with text input, font compatibility and the text-to-speech engine which aren't as powerful as they need to be.

“Simple to learn with great tutorials
Pros
It is simple to learn and comes with excellent tutorial resources which I like about it.
Cons
I feel like a more detailed overview explaining the differences between Rise, Storyline and the other tools would have been helpful.

“versatile platform

This platform offers so many different ways to ask questions, build interactive learning activities and set up tests which makes creating engaging content really versatile.
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve at the start when we first use the desktop application.

“Pretty simple for building content
Pros
Building and creating content is pretty simple. The stock image library is a great resource and I find it easy to share preview links with people outside my team.
Cons
The search function needs improvement as it only looks through course titles, not the actual content within a course.

“A huge content library!
Pros
I get access to a huge content library with millions of assets right out of the gate. The collaboration through Review 360 is fantastic for my team and I never have to worry about compatibility because the SCORM and xAPI exports work seamlessly with our LMS. With its frequent updates, cloud-based access and a genuinely supportive community, it's my top choice for building professional and engaging e-learning
Cons
In my opinion the pricing is quite expensive especially for individuals. Also Storyline 360's reliance on Windows limits its functionality for Mac users who do not have virtualization software.

“Simple to create our own modules
Pros
Creating our own e-learning modules is really simple. The pre-built interactive elements like quizzes and card sorting make it easy to turn basic content into engaging, interactive training.
Cons
Finding and browsing the pre-made course templates is difficult. There is not a good search function and the categories are confusing which makes it hard to locate a specific template to build from.

“very flexible tool!
Pros
Having access to both Storyline and Rise is great because it lets me develop eLearning that fits a wide range of budgets.
Cons
It is tough to think of any major problems I have had. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be adding reverse transitions so animations play backwards when a learner navigates to a previous screen.

“Rapid content creation with Rise
Pros
Using Rise for rapid content creation lets me build courses almost instantly with minimal effort. This frees up my time to work on more complex interactions in Storyline and add them into the training.
Cons
Rise lacks image descriptions, so you have to guess the right search term and scroll through pages of results to find a matching image. The platform can also be very slow when saving block templates or switching between courses.

“Powerful but easy
Pros
It is powerful enough for advanced projects but still remains easy to master.
Cons
I used to have Storyline 3 but now I am on the Articulate 360 subscription which is a bit more expensive.

“Fantastic flexibility
Pros
The flexibility is fantastic as we can build simulations, interactive activities and quizzes. A particularly useful feature is embedding a video and pausing it to prompt the learner with an interactive question.
Cons
Getting comfortable with the platform takes time because there are many intricate parts like variables and triggers that require a deeper understanding.

“My favorite is Storyline
Pros
All the applications in the 360 suite are great but Storyline remains my personal favorite to work with.
Cons
I feel like a simpler way to sync the usage and data between all the different applications in the 360 suite would be helpful.

“Our team loves the software
Pros
Our team has relied on Articulate for about three years now and we love the software. We mostly use Rise 360 for building our eLearning courses and Storyline for creating quizzes and text-entry activities. It's so simple to build a course from scratch or use one of the many templates so we don't have to start from zero. For us the ability to quickly duplicate and adapt a course was one of the most important reasons we chose this software. We even built a proof-of-concept during the trial period and the client team loved the course so much that we bought the license and never looked back.
Cons
Honestly I am really enjoying the new features they have been releasing and hope to see more. One feature I'd love is a native text entry block in Rise 360, so we would not have to build it in Storyline and import it. A built-in block would look sleeker and offer better size options.

“The best eLearning development tool available
Pros
As I familiarize myself with Articulate, I quickly grasp its functionalities. But as I explore further, I discover ample opportunities to elevate my courses through the utilization of advanced triggers, variables and JavaScript.
Cons
At times, it feels unstable and sluggish. I wish there were more built-in animations and it's a bummer there's still no Mac version available.

“A reliable e-Learning creation tool
Pros
Deploying is really easy, lessons come templated and there's room for quiz customization.
Cons
There's a gap in tracking user engagement and having A/B testing integrated would definitely be advantageous.

“So super easy to use
Pros
Articulate 360 offers a plethora of tools, including video capturing and rapid e-Learning development. I primarily use the authoring tool Storyline from the suite and it ticks all the boxes for me that are powerful, customizable and intuitive. The ability to use JavaScript adds even more options behind the scenes. They're continuously updating the software and introducing new features from time to time. The "ELearning Heroes" community is fantastic, offering plenty of support and idea sharing. The review process is efficient and simplifies tracking required changes.
Cons
Feedback and updates come slowly and sometimes suggestions are overlooked for years. The need to purchase a full suite of products makes it pricey for small teams. For instance, I didn't even consider recommending Rise to our SME community because it requires a full license, even if they're only using a small feature set from Articulate 360. The lack of native Apple Mac support is a major downside for me and many others.

“Excellent for building courses
Pros
We employ these for self-paced learning and guiding in-person classes. Tracking completion in the courses is also possible.
Cons
It tends to become repetitive, as designs start resembling each other. The range of options feels somewhat limited in terms of creativity.
