“Incredibly easy with real-time updates
Pros
Articulate is incredibly easy to use and the connection with our LMS lets us make real-time updates that our operations team can see immediately.
Cons
There are a few things such as we cannot edit pictures directly in the template, we cannot upload color palettes for branding and in Rise 360, we cannot scroll to other blocks while editing.

“versatile tool!
Pros
The software is so versatile. I can pick the specific product like Rise or Storyline that is the best fit for whatever project I am currently working on.
Cons
Well the cost is a bit high for people who do not use it constantly. So I feel like a longer, paid trial period might be helpful.

Pros
It is great for creating amazing content. I also love how easy it is to publish courses using different players to suit various user needs.
Cons
Nothing really comes to mind. The learning curve can be steep sometimes and figuring out the limits of what's possible can be tricky.

“A fantastic AI assistant tool
Pros
The AI assistant is a fantastic tool for content creation. I have used it several times to help improve my work whether by generating images or refining text.
Cons
Sharing team slides in Storyline and saving different versions of the same course during collaboration has given me some trouble.

“Perfect flexibility!
Pros
Having a guided platform like Rise alongside a creative space like Storyline offers the perfect flexibility. Tools like Review 360 also make collaboration smooth by documenting feedback from different teams.
Cons
It is frustrating when I have feedback or a question and find it was already asked on their public forum years ago without any response from the company.

“Excellent accessibility & support
Pros
The accessibility features, the support from Articulate and the learning resources are all excellent. My own experiences with the support desk have been very positive.
Cons
There is a lot to learn which can feel overwhelming at times. Figuring out the little tricks to make things work on a slide is also part of the challenge.

“Truly listens to its customers
Pros
Articulate truly listens to its customers and implements ideas from the community. They have built one of the strongest user communities out there. The recent developments in accessibility features have been especially exciting and have made my job as an instructional designer much simpler.
Cons
The only downside is the relatively high price but you are paying for a quality suite of products backed by an active team.

“made learning engaging
Pros
It let me move away from boring death-by-PowerPoint and helped me create streamlined, computer-based courses that are actually engaging and effective.
Cons
Cybersecurity rules at my company meant I could only use Storyline so I could not take advantage of Rise's functionality.

The platform is incredibly easy to use and enables amazing creations. From day one, I was impressed by how simple it was as if you know PowerPoint, you can get started right away. The new AI features are a great addition too.

“So many options for learning
Pros
There are so many options for creating engaging educational content that can accommodate every type of learner.
Cons
Some of the platforms are trickier to use than others so it can take our time to get the hang of the more challenging ones.

“Effortless course building
Pros
What stands out to me is the ease of use. Throwing a course together is fast and simple thanks to the pre-built content blocks. As an instructional designer, I have all the tools at my fingertips to create effective and engaging experiences. Plus, on the learner's end, the navigation is simple and the interactive elements keep them focused from start to finish.
Cons
The way Reach360 counts active users seems misleading. It counts each user once per month, so one person can be counted 12 times a year which quickly uses up our allotted seats. This detail was not explained before we bought it, even though I asked a representative directly about the annual user count. The reporting could also be better like allowing more than one quiz score to be reported per course.

“All the tools I need!
Pros
The software's suite gives me all the tools I need for different types of content from full eLearning courses to micro-lessons. The review tools are simple to use, letting reviewers experience the content and give feedback right where it's needed. As a creator it is easy to see and act on that feedback without hunting for the relevant section. Whether using Storyline or Rise, the feature set is vast enough for any project and the new AI assistant has been very helpful.
Cons
Rise is a key area for me. It is fantastic for quickly creating engaging micro-learning content. However it has not gotten many updates for its design options. While it is block-based, you have little freedom to create a visually unique product. Thankfully there are now plugins that fix this problem.

“creative freedom for every project!!
Pros
Umm tbh wide range of content formats is the best part!!. You can build a modern, mobile-friendly experience with Articulate Rise which is my favorite, get a PowerPoint-like feel with Studio or fully customize every detail with Storyline. Also it is incredibly empowering for an instructional designer and their new AI features are amazing as they save so much creative time.
Cons
I have not found a single thing to complain about yet. If I had to mention something, it is that their built in LMS offers 300 seats but no mobile app for users to access the content unlike competitors like Learn360 which have dedicated apps.

“Packed with excellent features
Pros
I love how it is packed with so many features for course creation like linking videos, embedding media and adding knowledge checks. The number of options available is excellent too.
Cons
My biggest issue is that you cannot have multiple people working in the same course file at the same time as it only allows one person in a course at a time.

“decent tool
Pros
The software is very easy to use, works online and integrates smoothly with other Articulate products. Overall I would say it is so simple, anyone could figure it out.
Cons
It is expensive and their licensing model has changed. The customizations are limited making many courses feel a bit cookie-cutter with the same look and feel.

“Fantastic with lots of creative options
Pros
From my experience, the functionality is top-notch, it's packed with creative features that engage every type of learner. Getting started is simple thanks to the clean interface and the huge template library cuts down development time dramatically. It's also a huge plus that there's a massive user community, whenever I've needed help, the forums and videos have been a lifesaver. Most importantly, the courses work beautifully for our employees and the ability to add resources and chats is perfect for building a collaborative learning environment.
Cons
The sheer number of options and the content library can be overwhelming for newcomers. Plus I feel like price is also very high for self-employed e-learning creators.
