“hard to distinguish between original responses and replies”
Pros
I find it really useful how I can track grades and quickly pull comprehensive grade reports whenever I need them.
Cons
Discussion board layout makes it tricky to tell apart initial posts from follow-up responses

“So full of bugs”
Pros
The widespread adoption means there's always someone who can help when you run into issues or need guidance with system quirks.
Cons
Full of bugs. When fixes finally come they often end up breaking other features. We're constantly stuck choosing between two bad options when planning system upgrades.

“convenient to move around”
Pros
I really appreciate how easy to use it is. The grade center was incredibly simple to work with!
Cons
The clicking to move between columns is annoying. Would be better with fewer clicks to move around.

“Smooth grading system”
Pros
I can easily complete assignments, check grades and access everything I need without any issues. The grading system works smoothly for both receiving and giving feedback to students.
Cons
Biggest issue I've run into is connectivity problems. There have been several times when connection issues prevented me from finishing assignments or getting work done.

“comprehensive features”
Pros
Provides extensive feature set. The collaboration tools work really well for team projects and communication.
Cons
The interface could really use some work as it feels like the design hasn't been updated in ages. Sometimes things get buggy and menus just won't show up.

“saves a lot of effort”
Pros
I like how grades are posted instantly so students can check their progress right away. Being able to upload content digitally instead of dealing with endless photocopies is a huge time-saver. The announcements feature makes communication with students much more organized. What really helps is the ability to duplicate course materials. Once I've built a course, I can reuse everything and just tweak or add new content as needed. It's been helpful for both my students and fellow teachers.
Cons
The main issue I have is all the maintenance that happens when I actually need to get into my classroom materials. Would be great if they could schedule this stuff for overnight or other times when people aren't trying to work.

“Misses plagiarism cases”
Pros
I find it really flexible for customizing to my specific requirements and the integration capabilities work smoothly with tools like Turning Point for clickers and various publisher sites.
Cons
I've noticed SafeAssign misses obvious plagiarism cases more often than it should. What's really annoying is that it flags reference sections as potential plagiarism instead of recognizing them as legitimate citations. The platform's visual design feels outdated and could definitely use a refresh to look more modern.

“my students are satisfied with it”
Pros
Love having all my class info centralized in one spot. Makes everything so much more organized. Uploading course materials like syllabi and PowerPoint slides is hassle-free. My students also mention how simple it is to create study groups, which helps them collaborate and share files effortlessly.
Cons
The main issue I have is all the maintenance that happens right when I need to get into my classroom materials. It's also really frustrating trying to grade assignments when there are grade submission deadlines looming.

“Solid LMS”
Pros
This learning management system offers really solid quality that holds up well against competitors like D2L and Moodle, plus it comes packed with a nice variety of features that make it stand out in the market.
Cons
Browser compatibility can be frustrating. It doesn't always play nice with Chrome though Firefox seems to work reliably for me.
