Honestly, I can't think of anything I don't like. I really enjoy everything the system does.

“My experience with Brainier

Pros

After we bought Brainier a year ago, I've been really happy with how it works especially the UX/UI. My team can easily see the classes and courses they're assigned and signing up for them is very easy. They can also search for any topic to find more courses, classes and links. The support team has been very responsive and it's easy to reach them via email or phone.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is that the system doesn't have the ability to trigger the reassignment of compliance courses based on specific date variations. For example, we have classes that work like this, 1. Take the class, 2. Recertify every year and 3. If you don't recertify on time, you have to take the original class again. This means we still have to track everything manually with spreadsheets which is why we chose Brainier in the first place to avoid this extra work.

“User friendly software

What I appreciate the most about using this tool is how user-friendly it is and how many different types of learning objects and courses we can create. It's definitely made my job easier.

Cons

What I don't like about It is the lack of enrollment limits. This prevents over-enrolled classes and the ability to use a waiting list which can be frustrating.

I love that I can create learning opportunities for employees so easily. It integrates well with our HRIS system and is really simple for our employees to access.

Cons

The only downside is that it's a little more expensive than some other LMS providers.

“Vey efficient tool

Pros

Coming from a company where everything was done on paper, It made transitioning to electronic training so much easier like, 10,000% easier! I used to dread training because of all the paperwork but with It, I can choose the right learning object with the right conditions. Plus I don't have to guess if training is due every year anymore. No more spreadsheets! The record retention feature is just amazing.

Cons

The only issue I've had with this tool is the time limit on being logged in. If I'm idle for 15 minutes, I get logged out. Maybe there's a setting I can change to allow a longer idle time?

“So Far, So Good

Pros

I haven't had much experience with it yet, as they took over Brainier LMS right after we started using it. But so far everything has gone well and we've had very few issues.

Cons

I'm not a fan of how the support system has changed with It. When we first started using it, I would get a response almost immediately but now it can take almost a day which can be frustrating.

“Easiest setup I've ever done

Pros

The LMS is incredibly easy to implement, use and manage. I plan to recommend it to all my clients looking for new learning systems. I've also been really impressed with the customer service and support, both during and after the implementation. The continuous support they offer is way better than any competitor I've worked with.

Cons

The team could definitely improve its LMS content versioning. It would be great to have the option to keep or reset user completions when a new version of an existing learning object is uploaded.

“Amazing first experience as a new customer

Pros

It's so easy to use and it's relevant for our staff and leaders. It's made everything run much smoother for us.

Cons

This isn't a dislike but more of a recommendation, it would be helpful if a notification email was sent to managers when an employee is reviewing their goal and needs immediate feedback. Right now, it's a inefficient having to leave the system and go send an email manually.

The most user-friendly interface I've ever used, especially with the admin tools. Plus everything just makes sense and is easy to figure out.

Cons

From a user's point of view, I've got nothing to complain about! From an admin side, there are a few small issues with reporting on multistep learning objects, but that's me really just nitpicking.

I really like how user-friendly it is. And one thing I like the most are various cards that can be displayed on the front end.

I cannot delete assignments that I have marked as inactive which is a major con.

What I enjoy most about Brainier is the various customization options it offers. As I like making a product unique to fit my needs and Brainier gives me the freedom to achieve that.

The LMS offers a great platform for assigning and tracking staff learning. It has plenty of methods to keep everyone engaged. Plus, everything feels well-designed and thought out for both employees and admins as nothing seems like it was just added on at the last minute.

Cons

Learners and daily users don't have any issues, but the admin side can be a bit slow sometimes. There's so much you can do, so it's frustrating when something doesn't work, because it's such a rare thing as it never happened often.

The company I work for just started using Brainier LMS, and we have liked it very much so far. It is awesome because you can create your courses right in the LMS or import them if you prefer.

There is room for improvement in the graphics. You can't customize the look of the landing page for employees and it can feel a bit cluttered at times.

“I love Brainier….

Pros

I love that I can log in as other users to see what they see and check their access rights. The screen layout is great too, with easy to use menus and tiles. Also, being able to import and mark completions in bulk is super helpful. And the analytics dashboard gives me quick access to all sorts of metrics.

Cons

The reporting feature has definitely a room for improvement. Like I am glad we can do custom reports, but there are still limits on what we can create. That said, we can still report on everything we need.

I have used this system during onboarding and found it very user-friendly. Mainly, I use it to send learning assessments after educational courses. It is simple to create content, send it through distribution lists and analyze the data.

I have not come across any major or minor issues with the tasks I need to perform.

I don't have any concerns as a user. Everything is been running smoothly for me. However, I haven't had any experience with the setup or administration of the product, so I can't speak to that side of things.

Brainier customer support is superb. I have a dedicated representative who is always responsive and ready to help with troubleshooting. And there are also multiple format options available for delivering training.

The software isn't really set up in a way that makes it obvious where to click. A lot of our admins have a hard time figuring out how the software works and how to run reports.

It is super compatible with other programs. Also the software is easy to use and I really like the mobile view of the program.

I like everything about it. The group files were the most difficult to understand but I think that was due to issues on our end.

Brainier LMS has a lot of different features that make it super easy for both users and admins to get the best results. The student portal is great too. also it's really intuitive and consistent with other websites.

Like with a lot of LMS platforms, the admin portal could definitely be a bit simpler to use. Sometimes, it feels like there are just too many steps to get a simple task done. Some of the features seem a bit complicated, and they could really be designed in a more streamlined and logical way.

The system is quite user friendly. Each module within the support team follows a step by step process, which is very helpful for beginners like me. The final confirmation step, "Here is exactly what you are about to do, are you sure?" is a great feature. And the customer service is the best I have ever experienced. When I call, the representative knows my name and is already logged into my LMS client before we start discussing the issue. Out of the 9 to 10 times I have called (mostly due to my own inexperience rather than system issues), the request has never taken more than 24 hours to resolve. I cannot say enough good things about customer support. I also love the Experience site for sharing knowledge with other Admin users!

Communication with the Brainier team has been excellent. Weekly meetings are very beneficial and the team is highly organized and responsive to our questions.

Integrating Brainier with UltiPro can be quite technical. For someone without background knowledge in this area, it can be frustrating and difficult to grasp whats happening in the process.

The student portal is the best and easy for our students to access and complete their courses. The user interface is attractive and training records are easily retrievable. Elan perfectly meets our needs, especially as our training environment gains more attention.

Cons

This is the third LMS I have worked with, and I have noticed that Brainier admin side lacks some of the flexibility I have experienced with other systems too. The logic behind the admin functionality does not always align with my needs for managing the system.

Other products offer a library of template content, which is helpful for creating a professional-looking final product. It is something that is missing here.

The LMS's ease of use is important as it is the top priority for users! It has to be intuitive enough so I do not spend all my time guiding people through their learning management. Reporting is the next key feature. I can get 95% of what I need from the static reports, providing numbers we could not get before. Other LMS platforms might offer similar features, but this one makes everything so simple reinforcing its ease of use. The implementation team, help desk, and sales team are fantastic. They genuinely strive to assist with any request and never make me feel bad if the issue is due to my own mistakes. I trust them completely to help me understand and resolve my needs. I also appreciate the ability to personalize the experience. My feedback and concerns are taken seriously, and I have a platform for them to be reviewed. I enjoy the product and the people behind it, and I look forward to our ongoing partnership and the continuous improvements. That Groupings tab has been a game-changer, saving us from having to rewrite our group structure!

There are a few areas for improvement. Personally, I struggle with custom reports, though that might just be me. I think theres room for improvement there. For example, being able to delete items would be useful though I understand why that feature might not be available, perhaps a "hide" option could help keep things cleaner. Additionally, it would be helpful if the lists kept the filters on, like maintaining the selection of 100 users or objects per page. Sometimes, I want more data in static reports, such as including the "Tag" information, which I will add to the forum.

As an administrator, I find the product easy to set up and maintain. The training and support provided by Brainier are exceptional.

It is a great tool, easy to use and administer. It includes all the essential LMS SCORM features, offers a good selection of languages, and allows for extensive security rights setup and easy configuration.

The video resolution needs improvement, and it would be nice to have additional language options, such as Thai and Hindi.
