What is Brainier LMS?

The Brainier LMS is a cloud-based learning management system that empowers organizations to create personalized learning experiences.

Using an intuitive interface, learners can choose what data they wish to see using built-in gadgets. Each group in the LMS can be branded to have its own look and feel, even custom system labels.

Administrators can create individualized learning tracks and automate common processes, such as onboarding procedures or recurring events like annual training assignments.

The Brainier LMS empowers administrators with complete oversight of all learning activities. The analytics suite includes static reports, automated/recurring reports and the SMART report, which displays all data on a single user or group.

The Brainier LMS uses machine learning to recommend relevant learning content for ongoing learning. Brainier offers many off-the-shelf integrations with HRIS platforms, video conferencing tools, performance and talent management solutions, and more.

One unique feature they want to point out is that Brainier LMS supports xAPI for tracking and reporting of activities of a user’s learning experience.

“Stands out with its creative solutions”

Pros

I really appreciate how they constantly review the market and stay updated on best practices, making sure we get the best solutions available. This system has made recruiting and performance management a lot easier for me.

Cons

“User friendly software”

Pros

What I appreciate the most about using this tool is how user-friendly it is and how many different types of learning objects and courses we can create. It's definitely made my job easier.

Cons

What I don't like about It is the lack of enrollment limits. This prevents over-enrolled classes and the ability to use a waiting list which can be frustrating.

“My experience with Brainier”

Pros

After we bought Brainier a year ago, I've been really happy with how it works especially the UX/UI. My team can easily see the classes and courses they're assigned and signing up for them is very easy. They can also search for any topic to find more courses, classes and links. The support team has been very responsive and it's easy to reach them via email or phone.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is that the system doesn't have the ability to trigger the reassignment of compliance courses based on specific date variations. For example, we have classes that work like this, 1. Take the class, 2. Recertify every year and 3. If you don't recertify on time, you have to take the original class again. This means we still have to track everything manually with spreadsheets which is why we chose Brainier in the first place to avoid this extra work.
