automated assessment & testing

Pros

Using this tool, we've managed to close our open data professional roles quicker than ever before. By uploading our own assessments onto their system, we're able to automatically test essential abilities such as SQL, Python and domain knowledge. That automation cuts down on time spent manually grading tests and running unnecessary interviews and it still delivers a smooth, high-quality experience for candidates.

Cons

Honestly, I can't think of many downsides to mention.

Effective assessment suite

Pros

I've found the assessment suite and its testing platform very effective for narrowing down candidates during interview cycles. The people behind it are incredibly responsive, they frequently roll out product updates within days of my feedback which is refreshing compared with other services where suggestions seem to vanish into a black hole.

Cons

At the moment, nothing specific comes to mind that I think needs improving.

Simple, customizable testing

Pros

Using this tool, I've found putting together tests unbelievably convenient for both non-technical people and those with a tech background. You can pick from ready-made assessments tailored to lots of roles or build a test entirely from scratch yourself. Now assessing candidates happens so much faster and I consistently see better-quality results!

Cons

Would love the option to spice up my tests more and tailor them to match my brand, I'd like richer customization, like adding brand colors, logos and tone so everything feels cohesive and on-brand when candidates take the assessment.

Global recruitment at scale

Pros

We relied on this platform to recruit staff at scale across multiple countries. Because many candidates are located abroad, we used the built-in language proficiency tests and asked for video responses to gauge their language abilities early on in the hiring funnel. Since the Account Manager position involves direct client interaction, strong English and other language skills are essential. To cover the technical side as well, we paired the platform's language assessments with our own custom tasks that evaluated candidates' role-specific technical competencies thoroughly.

Cons

Because we used the tool to evaluate language abilities in several languages beyond English, I wish it had included integrated translation features to make that process smoother. In practice, we translated our assessments into the target languages ourselves, or we relied on video-response prompts that let candidates reply in their native languages which worked well enough but required extra effort on our end.

expert led test creation

Pros

The platform includes an Experts service where I can upload our tests or sit down with specialists to discuss them. Before finding this product we relied on internal test creation, so it's been really helpful to simply and quickly send the materials, have the tests constructed directly in our account and get actionable suggestions on ways I can enhance and refine those assessments.

Cons

Exporting candidate test outcomes would be helpful and I was informed the feature is already planned on the product roadmap for future availability.

Realistic role based evaluations

Pros

In my previous role I used this tool to recruit product managers. At that company the PMs collaborated across a wide range of teams, R&D, customer success and marketing, so we had to confirm they possessed strong time-management, communication and prioritization abilities, along with great knowledge of the development lifecycle and product marketing. Using this platform, I was able to design assessments that realistically recreated those overlapping day-to-day responsibilities and team interactions which helped us evaluate candidates across the different intersections of the real job.

Cons

Diagram creation feels limited without a built-in drawing tool. I had to rely on candidates uploading sketches they made elsewhere, which added an extra step to the process

As the EMEA Compensation and Benefits Manager, I've come to rely on this platform as a key asset for making our recruitment more efficient and for helping us secure top talent for the team. One feature I really value is the extensive assortment of question formats included in the job-simulation tests. These assessments span everything from coding and SQL to interpersonal competencies such as communication and presentation. Because of this breadth, it's feasible to assess applicants across numerous skill areas and form a rounded understanding of their capabilities. Something else I find particularly helpful is the platform's accessibility, it's very user-friendly. Navigating the system is convenient and the tests themselves feel feasible and well designed. That simplicity means organizations can incorporate this tool into their hiring workflows without investing excessive time in training or onboarding staff members. In my experience it speeds up decision-making and reduces administrative overhead during recruiting cycles significantly.

Comprehensive candidate evaluation

Pros

This platform has honestly transformed how I recruit because it lets me evaluate candidates on both technical abilities and interpersonal strengths. I really like being able to mix different exam formats, especially the coding and SQL challenges, and combine those with personality and cultural-fit assessments. Doing that gives me a much clearer sense of whether someone will mesh with our workplace. In practice, it works. So far, every person I've brought on using this system has been an excellent match. incredibly useful for evaluating writers

Pros

it is incredibly useful for evaluating our content writer's written and spoken communication. We set up a scenario-based assessment that guides applicants through multiple writing exercises. Pros

I've been relying on this platform to help us recruit social media managers and so far it's made a very strong impression on me. Because our social media hires must be well-versed across multiple platforms and capable of interpreting analytics and insights to shape our approach, this solution has turned out to be particularly valuable for assessing those technical abilities. Outstanding onboarding & integration

Pros

Outstanding onboarding experience!! Our team owned a large set of tests that had been mostly delivered to candidates through Google Forms, so we sent all of those to the tool's team, who rebuilt them inside our account and even made substantial enhancements. On top of that, they applied our company branding and assisted with integrating our ATS.

Cons

Survey flexibility required adjustments after switching tools and I replicated grid-style questions using multiple-choice formats to maintain similar functionality.

Efficient candidate scoring

Pros

My team and I find the thumbs-up/thumbs-down scoring for candidate tests incredibly useful and it saves us a ton of time. When I spot the hiring manager's thumbs-up on a test and read their notes, I'm able to move that person forward rapidly without having to hold an internal meeting or go through a lengthy back-and-forth.

Cons

Workflow automation could improve further and I would like the thumbs-up action to automatically move candidates to the next hiring stage.

No code coding tests that saved me time

Pros

I don't have to be a developer to put together coding tests using this platform which I find really impressive. When I was interviewing for full-stack roles, the recruiter I worked with leaned on this tool's ready-made coding problems and then tailored them to fit our company's needs. Csm hiring with tech focus

Pros

Our customer success positions involve a significant technical component because we deal directly with technically oriented clients. When hiring, we look for people who combine traditional CSM strengths with great data analysis or technical capabilities, even candidates who have transitioned from data analyst roles. For applicants coming from technical but non-client-facing backgrounds, we pay particular attention to their communication and interpersonal abilities. Conversely, when someone has strong client-facing experience but less technical depth, we focus on validating their technical competence during interviews.

Cons

Grading workflows feel slightly manual and I wish the rubric could be embedded directly in test reports while I currently copy and paste scores into comments.

Video based insightful evaluations

Pros

Communication and the ability to convey reasoning are huge parts of working as a product manager and I rely on those skills daily. Before this tool was part of our process, my team and I were burning through endless hours coordinating interviews, trying to find times, bringing different teammates together to meet each applicant and dealing with all the back-and-forth. After we started creating video response questions on the platform, I could prompt candidates to explain a recent project they led or simply tell us about themselves which revealed a lot about their thought process. Every person on the hiring team could then watch those responses on their own schedule which saved time, reduced logistical headaches and gave us much richer insights into each candidate.

comprehensive financial analyst testing

Pros

We've been using this platform for our financial analyst assessments and are really pleased with it. It's allowed us to put together a comprehensive, well-balanced exam with many different question formats, whereas before we were mostly limited to testing basic knowledge through Google Forms multiple-choice items. Now we blend knowledge-based multiple choice with realistic on-the-job Excel tasks for data analysis and recorded video answers that reveal candidates' spoken communication. We're also thrilled that we could produce two versions of the same assessment, one in English and one in Hebrew. Overall, it's given us a much richer way to evaluate technical skills, problem-solving and communication than our old setup did.

Cons

User experience continues to be strong overall and I find the platform thorough and easy to navigate without notable complaints.

Realistic marketing role assessments

For hiring our paid acquisition manager roles, I've found this tool to be an absolutely fantastic resource. It lets me evaluate candidates across all the different aspects of the job, from budgeting and hands-on data analysis using Excel or Google Sheets to judging their creative instincts and overall marketing savvy. The assessments feel like a true on-the-job simulation, candidates work through real ad performance data and finish exercises that mirror the actual day-to-day responsibilities they would have in the role.

It's not really a negative but I have to log back in quite often. The team told me that the frequent re-login is for security reasons.

Timesaving resume screening

I had no idea how many hours my team was losing sifting through stacks of CVs before we started using this tool.
