User Friendly

Pros

Easily accessing all school grades and utilizing dashboard links for quick navigation made my experience seamless.

Cons

I'm not sure how much it notifies professors when someone sends a message; it seems to take longer to receive a response than with email.

Canvas in public education - 1st grade and school wide

Pros

Canvas, a district-purchased application for online learning, excels in user-friendliness, even for first graders. Teachers can easily navigate lessons and assignments.

Cons

I wish there were more opportunities to personalize the page for students, such as having a PK-1st page and a 2-5th page.

I like Canvas to maintain my undergarad lab class

Pros

Easy grading, result recording, and tracking student involvement with specific files/lectures simplify the process.

Cons

It has limitations in setting MCQ questions, preventing me from creating questions as others might in specific learning platforms.

Easy for Students

Pros

As a student, the easy interface navigation, "Mark as Done" function, and consistent class layouts enhance the overall user experience, whether on the app or desktop webpage.

Cons

I'd appreciate a better notifications section. For instance, having a dedicated "Notifications" page to log all updates/notifications, accessible at any time, would be useful. A calendar integration, perhaps with iCal and Google Cal, would also enhance the experience.

I really like canvas for diversity

Pros

Canvas is valued for its ease of use, practicality, and variety of templates.

Cons

What I liked least is the scarcity of templates in the free version, and the downloaded version loses quality. Still, I recommend it.

Canvas is worth it!

Pros

The love for Canvas stems from its ease of use, facilitating navigation, assignment submission, communication with professors and classmates, and access to grades and class information.

Cons

Nothing to dislike. I love both the app and desktop version. The email notifications for posted grades, graded assignments, received emails, and class announcements enhance the overall experience.
