“Student perspective on Canvas”
Pros
As a student Canvas was a requirement for most of my courses. Once familiar with its independent assignment presentation and proper app navigation taking online courses became a smooth process.
Cons
Canvas lacks two important features: easy team chat functionality and a notification system for teachers when reaching out to support. Collaborating with teams becomes challenging due to the limited capabilities of group chats which lack pop-up notifications for new messages. This often leads users to resort to alternative communication methods as there is no convenient cross-screen chat option. Moreover in the event of a technical issue students need to manually capture and send chat history with customer support to their teachers to avoid penalties. It would greatly benefit users if Canvas provided an option to automatically send chat history and reports to teachers after interacting with support streamlining the process and eliminating the need for manual action.

“CANVAS Student Review”
Pros
As a student Canvas software proves to be a convenient and user-friendly tool for my studies. Its straightforward interface layout eliminates unnecessary information allowing me to focus on my objectives. With features like activity tracking progress tracking grading and comprehensive learning management Canvas makes navigating the platform a breeze. I appreciate how it keeps me focused on my studies by minimizing distractions and providing all the necessary tools for a successful learning experience.
Cons
Just like any other product there may be a few inconveniences depending on the capabilities and overall performance. For me the interface appears tired and lacks excitement making it less engaging to navigate and use the product. Incorporating features like pop-ups course recommendations relevant newsletters and a tour guide could greatly enhance and evolve the product. These additions would improve the user experience and provide a more enjoyable and dynamic platform.

Overall CANVAS is a user-friendly tool for me as an instructor and for my class.
