“Review about CANVAS Software
Pros
Over the years I have witnessed rapid improvements in this software based on my personal experience.
Cons
There are still some aspects of the user interface that don't work well especially when the system is pushed to its limits with numerous options or components. More work is needed to enhance these areas.

“Making simple and stylish presentations is made possible by canvas
Pros
What sets this tool apart is its quick learning curve taking no more than 30 minutes to grasp everything needed. The best part is that it eliminates the need to start from scratch when lacking inspiration.
Cons
It is undeniable that even the free version of Canvas offers extensive functionality but the professional version is significantly better. Unfortunately it is not accessible to everyone especially young startups with limited resources.

“Disappointing
Pros
Uploading and presenting learning resources in an engaging manner for students is relatively easy with this platform.
Cons
Although it is primarily targeted at schools and higher education it was marketed to us as suitable for the Vocational education sector. However it lacks many essential features needed for assessing gathering evidence and mapping which are crucial for compliance. The system is not user-friendly for our course developers trainers assessors or administrative staff. We are eagerly looking forward to transitioning to another system. Furthermore the onboarding process and initial training were arduous overwhelming us with excessive information during the early stages of adapting to a new system.

“Pros and Cons of Canva
Pros
Canva proves to be an invaluable software for students enabling them to stay on top of their coursework and avoid missing important deadlines. One standout feature I particularly enjoyed was the discussions tab which fostered open communication among classmates and professors allowing us to express our opinions and stay connected. The mobile notifications such as alerts when assignments were opened were incredibly helpful in keeping me informed and engaged. Thanks to Canva my grades have noticeably improved making it an essential tool for academic success.
Cons
Honestly one of the most recurring problems with Canva was the inability to open documents particularly Word documents. Additionally the weightage of grades sometimes didn't add up despite the professor's assurance that the weights on the syllabus aligned with Canvas programming.

“Extremely useful no headaches
Pros
The categorization within class portals is a standout feature ensuring easy access to specific types of content such as PDFs in the Files section. The Zoom and Panopto Video features are also highly appreciated.
Cons
I believe the "To Do" section could be improved. It would be great to have the ability to edit comment or sync it with my regular iPhone calendar.

“Maximum Thumbnail impact
Pros
I required a solution for creating video thumbnails on my own platform rather than YouTube. While YouTube allows custom thumbnails I found it unnecessary to waste time uploading to YouTube for that purpose. Instead I easily added the thumbnail through file properties after a bit of trial and error.
Cons
The abundance of options sometimes led me to misplace my original work. However I received an email directing me to check my projects.

“A Better Way
Pros
There are multiple approaches to accessing the displayed information and it depends on the user's comfort and preference. It's like the saying "There's more than one way to skin a cat."
Cons
To be continued. I haven't used the software for a long time but so far I haven't encountered anything I dislike about it. We used Blackboard last semester and Canvas is a significant improvement in comparison.
