“Solid Virtual Classroom Builder”
Pros
Canvas proved to be comprehensive in setting up a virtual classroom for an online school where I worked as staff. It facilitated seamless communication with students assignment tracking feedback provision record-keeping and grading. Its intuitive interface consolidated all necessary information in one program eliminating the need for multiple unrelated platforms.
Cons
Occasionally I found myself a bit disoriented when trying to navigate back to the grading page for individual students. I felt that I had to click through multiple pages to reach the desired assignment page. Additionally downloading student assignments to my computer before opening them was less preferable than being able to view them fully within Canvas.

“The Blackboard Slayer”
Pros
Canvas is a flexible learning management platform that seamlessly integrates with Zoom Panopto proprietary websites and more. Its reliable automatic grading and robust grade calculations make exam-taking and homework submission efficient. It facilitates effective communication between teachers and learners and helps students develop better study habits. As a happy Canvas user I highly recommend it.
Cons
The main drawback of using Canvas arises when administrators fail to set up their courses efficiently. However this is not a fault of the platform itself as it is perfectly capable and reliable when utilized correctly.
