“Uncomplicated implementation”

Pros

It was quite easy to set up and putting it into practice took very little effort. Students genuinely enjoy using it and it gives both teachers and parents a clear view into what's happening in the classroom. It's also especially useful when handling multiple courses since it works as a quick reminder while getting lessons ready.

Cons

During the time I used it, I honestly didn't run into any real problems. It was simple for students, parents and teachers alike.

Getting timely updates on my daughter's academic progress is really convenient and it helps me support her better.

The option to share photos or information with a group of parents could potentially be misused in a negative way.

Pros

Having everything in one place gave me a quick view of how my child was doing in class. I could see what they were studying, check whether any assignments were missing and it really helped maintain open communication between me as the parent and the teacher.

There were times when logging in was a bit difficult although that may have been more about my age and comfort level with technology. After I got signed in though, the app was simple to navigate and use.

One thing that really stands out is how interactive the platform is. It gives students room to be creative while still helping them learn at the same time. There are lots of tools included and my favorite feature is that each student gets their own "monster."

I honestly don't have any complaints about it since everything has worked really well for me.

It's really convenient having a single app used by the teachers of my three students across two different schools. Being able to handle notifications through both email and the app is also a big plus.

The downside is not knowing which features my kids' teachers actually use under the premium subscription which makes it harder to feel confident about paying for it.

Seeing the photos and videos shared about my child has been really nice and the chat feature along with the important updates I get keeps me well informed about what's going on.

There are times when the push notifications don't come through so I end up getting information later than I would have preferred.

Having a way for parents and teachers to stay in touch without sharing personal phone numbers is a huge plus. Another thing I really appreciate is that teachers can send messages to all parents without turning it into a group chat so you don't have to deal with everyone else's replies and comments.

Cons

A lot of the features are locked behind a subscription which is disappointing. It feels like some of those tools should really be included in the free version.

Most of the time, I use it to stay in touch with my children's teachers. Whenever I have questions or concerns, I can handle everything directly through the app.

The app is simple to navigate and very user-friendly. Honestly, I haven't come across anything I dislike about it.

If your child's teacher uses it, I'd definitely recommend it. It's a really useful way to stay in touch with the teacher and other parents through the app. You can send direct messages, check the group discussion boards to keep up with what's happening in the classroom that day or week, view photos of your child and contact the teacher directly whenever you have questions.

Cons

One thing that was disappointing is that I wasn't able to contact my child directly through it even though the app gives the impression that kind of connection might be possible. A student version connected to the parent app would make a big difference. That way, kids could see the rewards and other incentives parents can access, without needing to use the parent's phone or computer especially since our students already have school-issued iPads.

Its amazing how simple it is to use and it's practical for both teachers and parents to manage without any trouble.

Cons

Overall, I really enjoy using this site. The only small issue I've noticed is that when a notification comes in and I click on it, it doesn't actually open.

Getting this through my child's school at no cost has been such a nice bonus. As a parent of an elementary student, I really enjoy being able to keep up with my kid's progress at school. The teacher regularly shares updates about what's happening in class and we also receive photos of their activities which I absolutely enjoy seeing.

I honestly don't have any complaints about it.

“Worked well for me”

Pros

Keeping parents updated has become much more simple with this. As a teacher, I've been using it for about 2 to 3 years and the only problems I've run into have been minor ones, mostly related to finding my way around the site. Beyond that, it's helped me stay in touch not just with parents but with homeroom teachers too and it gives me a place to share the fun activities my students do when they're in my class.

Cons

The part that still trips me up is the navigation. The screen can feel a little too crowded at times so I sometimes miss the exact thing I'm trying to find.

Being able to reach teachers whenever needed is a big advantage. I can message them directly and get in touch without having to sit around waiting for an email response.

I honestly don't have any complaints. I've been very happy with it overall and everything works in a very user-friendly way.

It feels quick and simple and it lets me check my children's grades and attendance in real time which is what I appreciate most about the program.

The part I liked least was how long it took to update one of my children's personal information, it took more than a year for that change to be made.

Being able to message my child's teacher almost instantly has been such a relief. It takes away the hassle and stress of calling the school, waiting for someone to locate the teacher and hoping to finally get a response.

Cons

I don't like the limited number of free points available each day. Not every family can afford to pay for the app and kids would still enjoy feeling recognized with more stickers.
