“Connects me to my child's classroom”

Pros

As a parent, the best part for me is being able to stay connected to my child's classroom every day. I can quickly check updates, messages and my child's progress which helps me stay involved in their learning. I also really appreciate that it celebrates positive behavior and achievements which makes it motivating and encouraging for both students and parents.

Cons

Constant notifications and updates can feel a bit overwhelming at times. It also doesn't always provide a full picture of my child's day or overall academic progress. On top of that because so much depends on the app, I need to keep checking it regularly to stay completely informed.

“Convenient way to get in touch with parents”

Pros

It has been the fastest and most convenient way to stay in touch with parents and families without giving out my personal phone number or relying on social media. I also really appreciate being able to share photos and videos so families can see what's happening in our classroom every day.

Cons

There's honestly very little to complain about. It has been an excellent tool for communicating with students and families and it also works really well for recognizing and rewarding positive student behavior.

Pros

Keeping up with a child's progress is really convenient with this platform and it gives parents or guardians a simple way to stay involved in the learning process. The extra features are a nice bonus too. It's also quick to understand and simple to use.

Cons

customer support can be a little slow to respond. I also ran into a few minor glitches and some brief lag although it didn't stick around for long.

I honestly don't have any complaints about it. It's an excellent platform for schools everywhere and works really well.

Right away, one thing I really appreciate is how much my nephew and niece enjoy using it. They use it for the assignments their school gives them and it feels very kid-friendly which makes the whole experience better for them.

Cons

My only concern is that some of the lessons are not explained clearly enough for kids. There are times when they need an adult to step in and even I sometimes have trouble understanding what the assignment is asking for or what is expected.

It does a really good job of keeping parents involved in how their child is doing at school. It takes a little time to get familiar with everything the platform offers but once you do, it's simple to navigate for both parents and teachers.

It works well for sharing photos and event flyers but it's not as useful when it comes to sending files or documents.

Keeping up with teachers through this platform has been one of the best parts for me. It lets us stay in touch about what they are teaching, how our child is doing in class throughout the day and what assignments or tasks need to be done. The access is very simple for us as users and the website keeps adding new features. We also receive updates regularly which makes it even more useful.

Cons

Honestly, there is not much I dislike about it. I am happy with the way it looks and I also think it is very simple to use. Overall, everything has been good for me.

Using it feels very simple and the formal, secure invitations that come directly from my child's teacher are a big plus. I also really appreciate getting consistent daily updates on my child's progress.

They've introduced a lot of new features and I absolutely love the daily and weekly communication I receive about my child.

There were times when it loaded slowly and some parents had a hard time finding their way around the app. Even with that, it was still very good to use.

Getting everything up and running is simple, from creating classes to posting updates in the class story and setting up events where parents can volunteer.

Bringing in students who are already enrolled at the school takes a lot of time and feels unnecessarily frustrating. I've also tried using the QR code so parents can join on their own but that usually leads to extra troubleshooting on my end.

Ever since my daughter started school, this has been my go-to for keeping up with everything happening at school. It's a really helpful way to stay informed about delays, picture days and other important updates.

Cons

Honestly, I'm happy with just about everything in it. The only thing that bothers me is not being able to give my child more than 3 dojo points unless I pay to upgrade my account.

Pros

For the past five years, my kids have been using it since kindergarten and it has worked really well for our family. It's clearly designed with parents in mind but kids seem to enjoy using it too. The app lets you privately message several teachers which is really convenient. There's also a class feed where teachers post updates, activities and photos and that feature really helps parents feel more involved and connected. Another thing I appreciate is the points system. It made a real difference for my son when he was dealing with some behavior challenges in 1st grade.

there's a paid upgraded version. Since this is an educational app that schools recommend, I feel like the cost should probably be covered by the school.

Since it's been a few years since I last used the platform while teaching, I can't really speak to any downsides. Back when I was in the classroom, I genuinely enjoyed using it.

It feels like the ideal app for keeping parents and teachers in touch. Teachers can share updates about how a child is doing in class, post photos of students, keep up with assignments and award points for activities both in the classroom and at home. My daughter is in elementary school and her teacher uses it. Every day, she gets excited and asks me to check how many points she earned. It turns the whole experience into something that feels like a game for kids. As a parent, I also enjoy being able to give her points for brushing her teeth, finishing her meals and going to bed on time. It's been a really helpful way to encourage her to do her best in everything.

Among the tools available for teachers, this is easily one of the best options for the classroom and I honestly think every school district should have it built in. The part I appreciate most is being able to keep parents updated on their child's day as it happens. I also love uploading photos of students while they're working on assignments and parents really seem to enjoy getting that window into what we're doing each day. Another feature that stands out is how parents can join in by awarding points at home for everyday routines like going to bed, picking up toys or eating dinner, not just school-related tasks.

Cons

I genuinely have nothing negative to say about it. I can't think of a single downside.
