Pros
The platform worked well with our SMS and the support team has been really helpful whenever needed. Also it is easy for everyone to use, whether they're admins, trainers or students and having complete control over our content and being able to edit it whenever necessary has been a big plus.
Cons
At times the integration drops out and having two-way integration would make a huge difference. The navigation and editing can also get pretty confusing sometimes, with too much clicking around in circles just to reach the right place. The Journey view could be much better too especially if it showed the units alongside the assessments and included unit/assessment outcomes. For example if a unit is marked CT, that currently isn't visible there.

Using Cloud Assess is very student-friendly because the layout is clear, simple to navigate and easy to use. From a developers perspective, it's also really useful that resources can be made interactive and the custom branding gives everything a much more polished and appealing look.
Cons
One thing that still gets in the way is the Resources folder. It's frustrating that you still cannot copy and paste the resources folder or move it from one location to another.

Navigation is not a problem and the activity-building tools work really well. The newer features in the builder make it much simpler to create a more interactive experience for our students. On top of that the support team has been excellent and very quick to respond.
Cons
A few functions still need improvement. For example, logbooks cannot be duplicated and then edited which would be really helpful.

After spending some time with it, Cloud Assess turns out to be a really an amazing system and the support team has been genuinely helpful. Students are also really enjoying the eLearning format and layout the platform lets you build.
Cons
It wasn't quite as user friendly as I expected at the beginning. That said it becomes more familiar with use and there seem to be regular updates being added.

Using practical assessment uploads works really well especially being able to include photos and videos when assessing completed work.
Cons
When going back to remark work that wasn't satisfactory, it would be better if only the incorrect questions appeared on the page instead of having to scroll through everything to find each one.

One thing that really stands out is how well it supports interaction between students and teachers and the help response time is very fast especially through the live chat feature.
Cons

Cons

Getting started with Cloud Assess was pretty easy and the platform is simple to navigate overall. It is user friendly and the chat support team replies quickly whenever needed. Customer service has been excellent and have been particularly responsive and helpful.
Cons
New features seem to roll out quite slowly when compared with other platforms in the market. A few of the current features also need refining to make the system more user friendly. It still relies on an outdated VETtrak API which restricts integration and causes operational headaches. The forms area especially needs significant improvement so it can work better with automation software.

One thing that really stands out is the support team. They're fantastic about listening, taking time with our questions and doing their best to accommodate what we need. On top of that the platform is pretty easy to navigate for both students and teachers or assessors.
Cons
Putting assessments together can still feel a little confusing at times. It has definitely been improving with things like AI-assisted creation and cloud-based saving but it can still take longer than expected. The system also tends to slow down if you stay in an assessment for too long and the mapping doesn't appear to carry over when an assessment is duplicated.

The interface is user friendly and lays out all the important fields clearly on the home page. It does take a little while to understand what each section is for but once that clicks, moving through the platform becomes very quick.
Cons
Account management is a bit limited compared to what I'd want. There's no option to reset student passwords, merge duplicate student accounts or update email addresses and login details after the initial sign-on. Because of that, everything has to be pushed back to the student or to its support. It would be much better to handle these tasks directly so student questions can be resolved faster.

It is useful for both assessors and learners and the clean design makes everything clear and easy to follow. The support during setup has been absolutely amazing as well.
Cons
A recent interface update has disrupted the assessor view and caused all the formatting from assessments created in the previous version to be lost. Fixing it means every assessment now has to be updated individually which is a huge cost for a change the customer didn't ask for.

Having such an amazing Customer Success Manager has made a huge difference. He's incredibly helpful, quick to jump in whenever something urgent needs fixing and both he and the Cloud Assess team are constantly exploring fresh, innovative ways to improve the platform, assessment design and overall student experience. I honestly wouldn't consider using any other student management system.
Cons
Nothing major to complain about because anything that comes up gets addressed quickly when requested. The new Beta field took a little time to adjust to at first but now that I am familiar with it, the updates are so worthwhile that I wouldn't want to switch back.

One thing that really stands out is how responsive and helpful the chat support team is which makes resolving issues much quicker. The platform also works well across different web browsers and operating systems so learners have a more consistent experience with fewer technical hurdles. Another big plus is the level of customisation available for activities and assessments, giving plenty of flexibility to match different training and compliance needs. It also supports a variety of assessment types which makes it a good fit for different learning environments and workplace situations.
Cons
There are still occasional glitches and bugs in the Beta interface and they can get in the way of using the tool and slow things down. The help resources and documentation don't always stay up to date with the latest features or changes which makes finding answers on your own harder than it should be. Communication about new features or product updates can also be limited or delayed which makes planning for changes and preparing users more difficult. On top of that some features require workarounds that aren't always obvious or easy for new users to figure out.

The assessment format was very basic because it guides students through each step clearly. The chat support has also been a big plus especially as a new user, since the team is there to point me in the right direction and save me a lot of time I would have spent trying to work everything out on my own.
Cons
One thing I wasn't happy about is that you cannot combine a power user and assessor profile under one account so having to maintain two separate accounts is inconvenient.

Cloud Assess has been proven a top assessment tool for us. The trainers are happy using it and the assessment layout along with the unit resources is well organized and presented clearly.
Cons
I feel like the thing that could be improved is the feedback page editor which would be better with more advanced formatting options like bold text and larger font sizes. There's also a file size limit when students submit videos so some MP4 files end up being too large to upload.

Keeping up with my students' progress in real time has been really useful. I can instantly see where they are in the matrix and update things for them right away. Customer service is also very fast and the prompts plus introductory guidance are helpful for users getting started.
Cons
It's missing an immersive reader option which would be helpful. Students also run into quite a few login problems and there have been issues with auto-save not working which can lead to lost progress. It would also be better if copy and paste could be disabled to help reduce cheating during exams.

The Cloud Assess team has been incredibly supportive. As a new customer, the help we've received has been outstanding. They're always working on new features that improve usability for our team and create a better experience for learners. Building assessments is also not a problem and the learner interface is excellent because it clearly shows learners their progress and what they need to do next.

The only downside I have run into is that activities can become quite slow to build when they get too large. I have already shared this feedback with the team and they are currently looking into it.
