“slow customer support response time”
Pros
The refreshed Learner Home has a polished look and the interface is simple to move through without much effort.
Cons
Customer support can be quite slow to get back to you and they often don't seem to fully grasp the actual problem. A lot of the responses feel generic and don't always fit the situation.

“Easy to keep up with progress”
Pros
Assigning training and keeping up with progress has been very manageable. The dashboards give managers a clear way to monitor completion rates and the administrative side is fairly simple to handle.
Cons
Reporting still is not quite where I want it to be although to be fair, we have not explored Reporting 2.0 as much as we probably should. Searching for content is also frustrating because I do not have the time to dig through the full library and evaluate courses.

“Uploading content is not an issue”
Pros
Uploading content and building or organizing programs is really simple which makes the platform very convenient to use.

I'd like to have more control at the LO level especially when it comes to turning specific things on or off.

“mobile app makes content accessible”
Pros
It does a really good job of supporting both regulatory education requirements and broader career development programs. The platform feels user-friendly and simple to use and the newer mobile app features along with playlists make content and point-of-service tools much more accessible.
Cons
I'd still like to see the ability to rate individual courses within a curriculum.

“Uncomplicated interface”
Pros
The interface is simple to navigate and the new learner home does a really good job of making training more visible for learners.
Cons
Reporting feels pretty disconnected and we still can't pull a single report that gives a complete overall view of compliance.

“Outdated certification module”
Pros
Getting people set up is simple and uploading courses or assigning them doesn't take much effort for users.
Cons
The certification module feels outdated and only a small number of people in the company really understand how it works. On top of that, the new support team is extremely slow, taking anywhere from three weeks to two months to resolve an issue.

“too many clicks”
Pros
The tracking works well, assignments are simple to set up and users can handle a lot on their own. ILT sessions and event management are also solid parts of the platform.
Cons
Launching, acknowledging and moving through processes takes too many clicks. A lot of actions feel overly manual instead of progressing automatically to the next step.

“Huge amount of useful resources”
Pros
Success Center is amazing because it offers a huge amount of helpful resources for administrators. The Product Support has also been excellent and the GPS team has been supportive and responsive whenever help was needed. Another big plus is the customizability since the system can be tailored to match our business needs quite well.
Cons
There is definitely a steep learning curve for administrators at the beginning but once you understand the functionality, the system gives you a lot of flexibility and capability.

“reporting stands out”
Pros
The flexibility and reporting are what I appreciate most about Cornerstone.

There's a lot to absorb at first so we had to approach projects by concentrating on one goal at a time.

“No need to be tech-savvy”
Pros
Even people who aren't very tech-savvy can navigate it without much trouble. Once the initial implementation was done, though, the later contract renewals stopped being as competitive and we've ended up paying far more for the system than the return justifies.
Cons
The service and GPS-related functionality feel lacking and I really miss having direct customer support for technical issues instead of needing to contact so many different vendors.

“top-notch support”
Pros
Getting started with the Cornerstone Learning Module has been a positive experience and the system is fairly simple to learn. Whenever an issue comes up, the support team is always willing to work with me until it gets resolved.
Cons
There are times when the system has some downtime because of technical issues which I understand can happen.

Being able to build exactly what's needed for a learning experience is a big advantage.

“integrations are simple”
Pros
The web services and APIs make integration with other systems pretty simple and the LXP also looks promising.

At the same time, I've heard about quite a few frustrating issues, like the banner not being responsive and the learner home feeling buggy.

“Frustrating outages and weak support”
Pros
Learner Home and Learning Object Administration are the parts that work well and offer some real value.
Cons
The biggest problems have been with the Data Load Wizard, Learning Assignment and the migration of MDL and HDL data. On top of that, partner knowledge of the application has been lacking and the DMS integration has negatively affected both Curricula and Learning Assignment. Support cases have also been disappointing because the responses often show limited understanding of the application and the system outages only make things worse.

“solid cataloging and reporting”
Pros
Cornerstone does a really good job with cataloging and reporting. It's been especially helpful for managing the library side of things.
Cons
A few parts of the system are harder to handle especially certifications. There are also some redundant steps and dead ends, for instance, availability can only be set after uploading through the catalog.

“Well integrated software”
Pros
The integrated functionality has been really strong and the way it communicates across each module works very well.
Cons
I'm not happy with how the system has been implemented across the enterprise. At my level, there's very little room to customize it in a way that feels sustainable.
