Helpful support with some limitations

Pros

The support team is always incredibly helpful and responds very quickly. I mean they are genuinely eager to assist. The tool itself is also very simple to understand and offers a lot of flexibility.

Cons

Even though the tool is simple to set up there are some specific needs it just cannot meet. Also I noticed sometimes the adjustments or fixes available are not quite right or do not work well in real-world situations.

Remarkably powerful and user-friendly platform

Pros

This is a remarkably powerful yet user friendly platform. Also their customer support is dependable and getting help is a fairly simple process.

Cons

There are quite a few things about the tool that I don't care for. What I really wish we had is immediate, live customer service with actual people on the phone not just a chat function.

good value and support but no mac support

Pros

Using iSpring was really simple it comes packed with excellent features and their support team is very helpful. All things considered I must say it offers really good value for the money.

Cons

The main problem for us is that you cannot use the full authoring tool on a Mac. That was my biggest hurdle since our entire office uses Macs. I can run PowerPoint on my Mac but the software itself won't work on it.

easy navigation and course creation

Pros

The platform is easy to navigate, creating and updating courses is simple and figuring out the admin side of things is mostly easy. So I'd definitely recommend it.

Cons

I noticed that the API options available right out of the box are pretty limited and the customization features could be broader. So having more choices for different user roles would also be a big help.

excellent features and useful support

Pros

iSpring LMS comes with excellent features such as posting news updates, a knowledge library, scheduling training sessions, delivering online modules and a detailed reporting system. Plus they release updates regularly and the customer support is genuinely useful. Any time I report a problem they resolve it. I am extremely satisfied.

Cons

The notifications can become a bit much for the team at times. I'd really prefer a more refined notification system, although you can choose to turn them off completely if needed.

an amazing partner with tons of features

Pros

What I really like about iSpring is the sheer number of features it offers. The team is always open to hearing about what you need or what new tools could benefit your business. Partnering with them has been simply amazing and it's been exciting to see all the new features they keep rolling out!

Cons

Adding images to the Knowledge Base could be simpler and I'd love it if their LMS platform included a wider variety of free courses to choose from.

Fluid experience with exceptional support

Pros

The user experience is really fluid for both learners and administrators. Plus AI features are on the way! The online support is exceptional too. My account manager even helped me solve an issue over a weekend. Moreover they offer different pricing plans to begin with, so you can find an option that fits your budget without worrying about cost.

Cons

You do have to pay for each active user. But let me tell you that you can request an overdraft if you go over your limit and they might offer a discount if you have a large number of extra users.

simple to use tool

Pros

iSpring platform is simple to pick up and operate. The best thing is that we have not run into any glitches or problems. Plus the desktop software provides plenty of creative options without being overly complicated.

Cons

Customizing the reports for learning history is pretty difficult. We switched from our own custom-built learning system to this tool and we re accustomed to having a lot more flexibility with reporting. Right now we are having some trouble figuring out how to accurately calculate the total time users spend across all trainings and courses.

an excellent and feature-packed system

Pros

iSpring Learn is an excellent system packed with features. Their service is also top-notch as there is always someone ready to answer questions or offer insights through a demo. I had a few demos this week with support team member and he was tremendously helpful.

Cons

At the moment there is not a built-in feature for development plans and onboarding processes. We are told those are scheduled to come later in 2025. We are also waiting for integration with our e-learning provider, GoodHabitz. iSpring and GoodHabitz are collaborating on this and we are hopeful they'll get it working soon.

Fantastic service, combines two tools

Pros

The customer service and support are fantastic. What's great about this LMS is that it combines content creation and the learning platform into one, so you do not need to juggle multiple different tools.

Cons

One thing I noticed is that the catalog page setup has limitations as you cannot connect a main catalog page to smaller sub-catalog pages. You also cannot manually arrange the order of courses in a catalog as they just automatically list in alphabetical order.

Very user-friendly from all perspectives

Pros

The best thing about iSpring for me is how user-friendly it is. Plus it works just as well from an administrator's point of view.

Cons

There is not anything specific I actually dislike about it. My main wish is just for it to have a few more features. The good news is that the team is very good about taking feedback and working to get new features added.

great user management and outstanding service

Pros

What I really like are iSpring's user management features and how it handles situations where you have more users in a month than your plan allows. The customer service is also outstanding.

Cons

I do not have much to add here as it's a fantastic platform that I have found very easy to use and the customer service has been excellent on the rare occasions I've needed help.

quick but extra fees for speech

Pros

The ability to import training content directly from a PowerPoint is very handy and allows for quick content creation. However the software can be a bit complex in some areas initially but the support you receive makes up for it. They helped me a great deal in understanding the platform better and guided me through several steps, which saved me a lot of time.

Cons

Text to speech functionality is not included in the base package so you have to pay an extra fee or find a workaround to avoid the additional cost. To me it is a bit disappointing because when you think of online training, voice synthesis seems like it should be a standard part of the package but it's not. Also the user limit is not very high which restricts what you can do.

a tidy and feature-rich central hub

Pros

The user interface is tidy and user friendly which makes everything easy to grasp. Beyond standard LMS tools, it has amazing extra features that let us centralize all learning activities in the company. This includes documenting on the job training, 360-degree feedback, a robust internal knowledge base, a cloud authoring tool, development plans, gamification and new hire announcements. Plus the tool gets regular updates packed with useful new functions. And its clean, simple design allows new users to get started quickly. Its capabilities go far beyond a basic learning platform, offering tools for training documentation, comprehensive feedback, a detailed knowledge base, AI-powered cloud authoring, career development plans, game-like elements, awards and announcements for new staff. Moreover the system is constantly being refined, with excellent new additions rolling out every few weeks.

Cons

Even though there are plenty of helpful integrations already, a few important ones are still not there like Slack or more extensive HR system connections, for example with Personio. Also while the Knowledge Base is honestly one of the best I have come across in any learning platform, it is missing a simple way to export content as a PDF. That feature would be essential for sharing internal guides with teammates or external partners who don't have access to the LMS itself.

simple course building with excellent support

Pros

Building courses is a very simple process. Because of this, I can quickly get anyone in the company excited about creating courses for their own departments. Plus the ability to make courses varied and engaging by incorporating iSpring Suite interactions is great. Above all, its support is excellent as they give fast and helpful responses. I am truly impressed by how well they assist you. They also keep making improvements and adding new features regularly.

Cons

The statistics and reporting section could still use a bit of improvement. But overall, i would say it is okay.

provide the best support

Pros

It is simple to manage, offers a wide variety of functions and I love the customer support as they are very responsive.

Cons

Managing user accounts has been a bit of a hassle. We set up Single Sign-On with Microsoft Azure so users can log in easily. However a user needs to access the LMS at least once before they can be enrolled in a course. If they have not logged in yet, a content manager cannot find their account to enroll them. This means whenever a new employee joins, I have to manually create an account for them in iSpring Learn as well.
