Clean design with Slack integration

Pros

Leapsome looks and feels amazing as overal lit is simple and clean, so I got the hang of it right away. I did not need a tutorial as everything was easy to find and made sense. I also like the Slack integration as it reminds me before Monday calls so I can prepare. Getting started was not a problem tool as all I had to do was log in.

Cons

Well I have been using it for a year now and genuinely have no complaints whatsoever.

Centralized goals, feedback and reviews

Pros

The best thing about it is having performance reviews, goals and feedback centralized in one spot which makes it easy to monitor progress and actively foster my team's development.

Cons

One thing that frustrates me is that when I try to paste a specific image into a feedback or review entry, the platform won't accept it and I'm unable to include that visual context.

Public feedback with easy setup

Pros

It's much better than our old feedback systems as it is really refreshing. I especially like that you can make feedback public so coworkers can see it, cheer it on or add comments. The design and sense of team spirit are great. It is also easy to use which helps me get more done and write feedback faster. Getting started was simple too as it connected directly to our HR system, so logging in was quick and easy.

Cons

I have not run into any issues so far.

Combines everything into an organized platform

Pros

To me the standout feature of it is how it combines performance management, feedback, goal tracking and development conversations into a single, well-organized platform. It turns ongoing feedback into something simpl eand transparent instead of an activity that only shows up at annual reviews. I also value how user-friendly the interface is and how it encourages meaningful conversations between managers and team members. That approach as per me leads to real growth rather than turning the whole process into a box-ticking exercise.

Cons

Honestly I do not have any complaints as everything looks clear and easy for me to use.

Tracks progress with Slack reminders

Pros

Having used many similar platforms, I find it pretty user friendly. I have just finished eight training modules and several surveys and the interface really stands out. I also really like being able to track my progress, download materials and test my understanding with quizzes. Plus the Slack reminders help me stay on track so I do not have to keep logging in to check for updates.

Cons

I've only recently begun using it and I'm having a positive experience so far. Up to now nothing significant has gone wrong and I don't have any real complaints.

Simple navigation for goals feedback

Pros

Leapsome's UI and UX is pretty good and navigating the platform is simple too. I especially appreciate how easy it is to find details whether I am checking my goals or reading feedback from my manager and teammates.

Cons

I've come across a few glitches in the reviews tab that sometimes disrupt the experience.

User-friendly design for company onboarding

Pros

During onboarding, Leapsome helped me understand the company, its culture and complete my initial tasks. I also really liked the user-friendly design as it made everything clear and easy to follow. That simple interface also made setting up it quick and easy.

Cons

Nothing major but I just wish events had more detailed descriptions. Right now they feel a bit sparse.

Meeting notes needs improvement

Pros

What I like about Leapsome is that it brings everything together in a single place, offering a consistent, unified platform for managing the manager-direct report dynamic. Having all of those functions bundled into one tool is genuinely useful.

Cons

The main thing that needs fixing is the meeting notes feature. For now it is confusing how past notes get carried over to new meetings as it is not clear how or why that happens. I have had old notes end up in the wrong meeting, which means extra cleanup. So clearer defaults or better guidance on setting up meetings would be the most helpful improvement.

Saves time with easy setup

Pros

Leapsome saves time and offers a flexible way to organize feedback for teammates. Reviews are now much simpler and easier to manage. Plus getting started with it was surprisingly easy.

Cons

So far I haven't had enough hands-on time with this tool to go into more detail.

User-friendly with Slack notifications

Pros

The website interface is really user-friendly whether I am a tech expert or not. And I like receiving notifications via both email and Slack regularly.

Cons

At times the alerts arrive with about a one day delay and that can be inconvenient when I'm waiting for timely updates.

Beautiful design with thorough reviews

Pros

I love the app's beautiful design but I am even more impressed by how useful it is. My team and I also rely on it for performance reviews as it's very thorough and the option to send praise makes the experience feel just about perfect.

Cons

Every so often I have trouble logging into the app with my email address and it can be pretty annoying when that happens.

Clean interface saves training time

Pros

Personally I really enjoy Leapsome's clean, engaging interface because it actually makes using the platform enjoyable. Also it saves me a significant amount of time-especially when I need to build training sessions since I can quickly upload a slide deck or drop in a quiz. The in-house training tool also cuts down on external costs and getting started with the platform was pretty easy too.

Cons

I feel like the layout of a few tabs could be improved. Right now the Goals button shows company-wide goals by default which feel like they are assigned to everyone. So I'd prefer it to show my personal goals or my team's goals first, with an option to filter and see everyone's goals when needed.

great tool for performance talks

Pros

Leapsome is thoughtfully built and it truly enables productive performance conversations. Its goal-setting, feedback and review cycles feel interactive and push for ongoing development instead of single-instance evaluations.

Cons

Because it offers a lot of features I've noticed it performs optimally when teams invest time to integrate it thoughtfully into their existing workflows.

strong features but pricey

Pros

Once we got it set up performance reviews ran without a hitch. The learning paths were fantastic and let us create organized employee development programs and set clear goals. It's also handy for handling one-on-ones and training all in one spot.

Cons

setting up the review questions and juggling multiple review versions far more complicated than it needed to be. The pricing model is also a poor fit for mid-sized teams , paying per module instead of all-access quickly balloons costs once you reach around forty employees. In the end, the price outweighed the value we got.

All hr needs in one place

Pros

It has become my go-to tool for virtually every HR need from measuring soft skills to tracking OKRs and KPIs. I appreciate the wide range of modules because they let us monitor employee performance, engagement, rewards and recognition and compensation review cycles in one place. It also offers helpful recommendations and useful benchmarks that make it easier for my company to see how we stack up against others in the industry across the different processes we run. using it is smooth and the interface is interactive which saves time and reduces confusion. The customer support team always responds when I have questions or concerns and I think the pricing is very competitive for the set of services provided. Onboarding was smooth and teammates picked it up quickly which I value.

Cons

I would really like the org chart to be more interactive and let me show specific field values beneath each employee , for example performance review outcomes, age, location or which 9-box grid cell they fall into. The Compensation Review tool could also use some refinement right now it's presented as one very long form, whereas I'd prefer to see the whole team at once in a more interactive, spreadsheet-like layout for side-by-side evaluation. Those improvements would make the tools much easier for me to use when I'm reviewing people and planning compensation decisions.

Helpful for goals and notes

Pros

In my experience it is useful in a number of ways. I can keep track of all my meeting notes which helps me stay organized, it also lets me prepare much better for meetings and calls. I use it to monitor goals and key results and I really enjoy the appreciation feature and setting up surveys is smooth.

Cons

Regarding text formatting I sometimes find it difficult to edit or save text and to create multiple lines within a single text box. Occasionally when I make changes they don't end up being saved which can be frustrating when I'm trying to update information.
