As an instructor, I find it to be an ideal platform for teachers. It's very practical and easy to use. What I like is that I can make changes easily and it offers several collaborative tools.

When many users are on the platform at the same time, it tends to slow down.

It's a free training platform commonly used in academia where any administrator who creates an account can add their own space to interact with other users. Interesting and free.

Its content layout isn't particularly engaging to the eye.

I find this program extremely easy to use. It's among the top learning platforms I've come across. Their customer support is responsive and genuinely attentive when I need help. In my experience it's the most reliable LMS out there especially since I don't worry about unexpected price hikes or cost increases.

One thing I don't really have a huge issue with but I find limiting, is the notification option. It only gives me two system choices, in-app pop-ups or email alerts. I'd love to see more built-in notification types and integrations, for example syncing SMS messages or connecting directly with my Google Calendar.

It is a very well-structured virtual classroom. Whenever I'm taking online courses, everything I need from study materials to exams, grading and even certification is available in a single platform which makes managing my learning much simpler.

The mobile app could use improvement. I find it somewhat slow and missing many of the features available on the full website so it doesn't offer the same complete experience when I use it on my phone.

Really simple to upload my assignments and keep track of them and it makes it easy for me to stay on top of upcoming tasks.

Can open my course materials and lessons on my mobile device whenever I need them which is really convenient. What I particularly like is how assignment deadlines are shown clearly and that the platform integrates Turnitin for plagiarism checks.

The apparent simplicity that lets an inexperienced user use and understand what Moodle shows is sharply contrasted by a much higher complexity when it comes to designing rich learning experiences. I often need broad pedagogical, didactic and technical programming skills in platform implementation to achieve a truly optimal effect.

Moodle has been a great way to organize grades, assignments and all the other class-related information. I rely on it to clearly see what tasks I need to complete each week and stay on top of my coursework.

I find getting around it and locating specific materials surprisingly difficult. The dashboard which mixes courses from both the current and previous semesters, makes things feel cluttered and needlessly complicated.

I like that I can set up different courses and also add sections within those courses to organize study documents and content. I also appreciate that it can be connected to conferencing tools like BigBlueButton or Blackboard.

Usually it is treated as an all-in-one platform, meaning documents and learning spaces live in the same place which is convenient but when the server goes down or crashes, I can't do anything at all.

Really appreciate that as a student I can gather all my documents and assignments in one single platform. It connects well with the school's management software, lets me track assignments and their on-time submissions and overall I find the student-side interface user-friendly and easy to use.

From my perspective as a teacher, the software's layout is far from obvious. The process for creating and sharing documents isn't clear on the instructor side so I don't find it user-friendly to use.

Pros

I rely on it often so there is a huge ecosystem of plugins and tutorials for setting it up and configuring. It looks impressive right away and is easy to customize.

Cons

It still feels a bit rough around the edges. There are parts that need improvement, for example occasional bugs where interactive activities don't register as completed.
