Pros

It feels more tailored to instructors than to students but I do appreciate having every course accessible in one central location.

I find the interface clunky and visually unappealing, I have to go through far too many steps for simple tasks.

What I appreciate most is the UI's simplicity. There aren't extra bells and whistles cluttering the screen so I can stay focused on the task at hand. Usage and discoverability are fairly solid and as a regular user I can usually locate what I need without much effort most of the time.

The interface feels quite dated and could use a refresh. In all the time I've used this platform I don't recall ever seeing any noticeable stylistic updates. One area that really needs attention is how course-level information and the individual lessons are presented. Right now they both show up on the same page which makes it hard to tell them apart. It would be much clearer if there were a more distinct separation between a course's general details and the lesson content.

It's an easy-to-use, highly user-friendly course tool.

I notice it sometimes goes down but I assume that's because the server is overloaded and it might not be a problem with the tool itself so much as with the platform that hosts it.

Setting up this software for our institute's educational needs didn't require much effort. It's free and comes with a wide range of handy third-party plugins. Using Moodle, I was able to reach the entire institution easily and I could keep lecture notes, attendance, homework and assignment distribution all organized in one place.

The interface looks a bit dated and the email notifications sometimes arrive slowly which can be frustrating. Despite those issues, I still think the product is solid and I usually rank it as my top choice.

What I appreciate about it is that it brings all the tools for online learning together in one spot. It's the platform I depend on for my remote studies and honestly makes my learning possible. From messaging instructors to uploading videos and documents and keeping track of every assignment, it centralizes everything I need to stay organized and on top of my coursework.

I'm not a fan of the visual design. It's a bit complex and not the most attractive layout to look at.

I find that the courses are delivered by seasoned professionals and subject-matter experts. I can study at my own pace without any issues and the platform is neatly set up and really easy to use.

Although the platform's many features can sometimes throw me off and interrupt the learning flow, I get past the difficulty once I learn how to use the tool well.

What I like is that it makes it possible to build massive open online courses and after I set one up I can add students, assign work and monitor their progress. I also appreciate being able to install plugins and adjust the experience, permissions and access, plus there's reporting available for teachers and admins. It even supports more than 120 languages.

Like other LMS platforms I've used, it lets me create and award badges to learners based on their achievements but at the moment users can't add those badges to their LinkedIn profiles which is probably fine for many students yet feels disappointing for professionals hoping to showcase credentials. It also permits resizing of some interface elements but those adjustments aren't very user-friendly and tend to require technical know-how to accomplish.

As a teacher, I have complete control over course materials and students find it simple to use. The interface feels great and creating assignments and grading is easy.

I sometimes notice that certain features are nested inside other menus making them hard to find. The platform could really use an updated theme and fresher visuals and I find communication between teachers and students a bit clunky.

On one hand it lets me distribute educational materials to an entire class before an exam and afterwards I can share each student's grades individually, among other useful features. I find it an excellent tool for turning in classwork and managing documents broadly across courses.

User interface could be clearer and more user-friendly. I would like to see better visualization at the user level. It would also be great if they added tools for video calls and live classes so the platform becomes more comprehensive and helps me work remotely more effectively.
