Setting up forms is easy and the tool is capable of handling complex logic... the resulting output looks good too. We use it to support sales during customer consultations. Creating reports with condition-based output has made it easy to automatically generate and share reports from those consultations.

Cons

Pricing for each PDF export feels a bit high to me. Over the years, relatively few new features have been added, even though the existing functionality continues to work fine.

After using it for years, I still see it as an excellent tool and in my opinion, the best option on the market for creating online questionnaires, surveys and tools, then generating polished, customized PDFs. I really like the look and overall interface of what it produces and it works well across devices. Their team has been wonderful to deal with, professional and helpful. It's a solid product from professional people and a company I'd be glad to have on my side.

Pointerpro is complex though building decent surveys with multiple branches and scoring systems behind them is a complex task in itself. Going in knowing you'll need some time to get comfortable with it should make the learning curve manageable. One improvement I'd welcome is more control over page breaks in the output PDF when inserting customized output from surveys.

Getting the scoring and outcomes set up just right takes some time especially when aiming for specific personality-style results. The interface works but it can seem a bit dense to begin with. New users may need some time to experiment with building and testing surveys before they feel fully confident using it.

The interface is a favorite for us. We can create professional-looking surveys with a variety of question types and respondents find them user friendly. Clients often comment that the experience feels smooth and easy.

I know very little about the product. I inherited a project whose process and requirements have been in place for the past four years. I'm still unsure how to use it or whether it can bring more value to me and the organization. Given the cost, I'd like to find additional use cases for the product and its services.

Collaboration between the PP team and our team was better and smoother this year. Timelines were handled more effectively, with fuller explanations of the changes underway and how they were being addressed.

The onboarding and orientation during signup and account setup were really helpful. Our account representative was attentive and very knowledgeable and the support team helped us work through some of the more difficult setup requirements. The translation function is also very easy to use.

Report designer takes some time to learn and feels somewhat primitive. It can go beyond the basic settings but making those changes calls for advanced technical skills and custom CSS. The available aggregate and group variables are also limited.

Its dashboard and sharing settings are especially useful, letting you customize what each customer can view and keep reports centered on relevant insights. The reporting is strong and the platform suits engagement surveys as well as other research work. ReportR is a useful add-on for putting together professional reports quickly.

There's a lot to configure which can take new users some time to explore and learn. After your templates are set up though, the process is easy.

Getting comfortable with some advanced features took significant learning and plenty of trial and error. The payment feature doesn't natively allow another attempt after a customer's payment fails though you can work around this with multiple conditional survey questions and a payment prompt. HTML in the PDF report builder sometimes resulted in different spacing between sections, even when I used the same code. The maximum graphic size is fairly small so I had to split graphics in some cases to make them appear as one high-resolution image. Font choices include many standard Google fonts but a broader selection would have helped me better match my brand.
