“Easy to use and personalize

Pros

Honestly, we're really happy with how easy the platform is to use and customize for our brand. And the reporting feature has been working perfectly for us it handles everything we need without any fuss.

Cons

The platform works well for the most part though we do run into occasional glitches. The video assignment feature can be inconsistent depending on the device and while we've found ways to manage it, it's not ideal. It's also worth noting that a dedicated account manager is only available on their premium plan.

“No training needed!!!

Pros

It is simple for an admin to set up and just as easy for a learner to use. Our instructors also have no trouble finding their way around the system.

Cons

Nothing much to share as everything is running smoothly and we are getting ready to transition to the new interface on June 1st, 2025.

“Incredibly easy for everyone

Pros

You know the best thing about TalentLMS is that it's just so easy for everyone. The admins, the instructors, even the learners, no one gets stuck trying to figure it out. I also love that they're constantly adding fresh courses to their library. It really helps keep the content feeling updated and engaging for our team.

Cons

The available courses feel pretty basic. Since I work for a tech company that uses AI, it would be great to have more advanced AI courses for non-technical roles, not just the introductory one. The reporting function could also be more detailed as for now it is not bad but it has room for improvement.

“Very affordable tool

the ease of use and the affordable cost are big pluses also it is very simple to search for a course and assign it to a user and I like how the courses are organized into different categories.

Cons

i feel like it would be helpful to reassign course email reminders to a large group of people all at once.

It is very resourceful and gives us the ability to reach our remote audience effectively.

Cons

the TalentLibrary seems to only have animated content.

This tool is user-friendly and offers lots of interactive options to keep my learners engaged.

Some features I needed were only available on the more expensive pricing plans.

Pros

You get a powerful set of features for the price compared to other systems. We have been able to grow our user base without a huge cost increase and it has all the core features we need for a positive learning experience. The recent interface overhaul also made everything look modern and fresh.

Cons

I wish you could add more types of content to a single page. For instance the rich text editor lets you embed videos, but only from YouTube or Vimeo, not the ones you upload yourself.

“Highly interactive tool

Pros

The units and assessments are highly interactive and the gamified learning experience keeps everyone motivated. Plus we can generate custom reports, upload content in many formats and there is a wide range of courses to choose from in the Course Store.

Cons

One thing I noticed is that the new interface is missing the Infographics feature that was available in the old version.

“Perfect scalability for our growth

Pros

TalentLMS scalability is perfect. It let us start with a low-cost plan and upgrade our subscription as we gained more users. They also reply to our email questions very quickly.

Cons

I feel like having live phone support included with the lower-tier plans would be a nice benefit.

“A user-friendly interface for all!

Pros

Let me tell you why I like this platform so much: the interface works beautifully in both versions, the knowledge base answers all my questions and their YouTube guides are so good I use them in my own training. Even building a homepage was simpler than I expected. I'm a true convert!

Cons

It can be a bit glitchy and sometimes shows me 404 or 500 errors. I have reported this to the support team and they are looking into it.

its very simple, basic and easy to use. the branches feature is excellent. I also love that you only need the bare minimum details to create a user which is a big help with today's privacy concerns and data breach risks.

Cons

a few handy features are missing, like being able to set a course to automatically reassign on an annual schedule.

The way the platform tracks and manages user progress is really effective.

Well the admin dashboard can feel a bit clunky and is not always the smoothest to navigate.

Moving surveys and tests over from the old platform is a bit of a hassle especially since I prefer the new interface and do all my work there now.

Pros

Not only is Talent LMS incredibly user-friendly but I've also discovered a much smoother workflow. Converting PowerPoints to MP4 videos before uploading makes a huge difference compared to using the original files.

Cons

The new AI tool does not let us add a voiceover and it does not use the entire file you upload which cuts out too much of the information I need.

“Creates self-paced training well

Pros

Our company can create self-paced training with TalentCraft and offer extra short, interactive courses from the TalentLibrary. Their support team is also exceptional and always ready to guide us.

Cons

TalentCraft would be even better with more features like narration tools and accessibility options to help people with disabilities navigate self-guided training. Plus I feel like the reporting could also use better custom filters.

The ease of use is the best part and not only it is simple but still has everything I need to deliver high-quality instructions.

Cons

Hitting the back button does not always take me to the previous page but instead, it just goes back to the first page.

This software is easy to use and has a lot of configurable tools especially for managing groups and sending emails.

Cons

There is no dedicated space to build a central library or repository for videos and documents without having to assign them to a specific course.

It is extremely user-friendly, as the only system admin for our company, I find it easy to upload documents and organize employees into their correct departments.

Cons

The only small flaw I have noticed is that sometimes uploaded pictures have poor quality though thats only happened once or twice and might be related to the original file.

A few areas where we could use more flexibility are in course design, the mobile app's functionality and the options for setting up user roles

Overall interface is pretty fantastic as it is very user friendly and easy to use. As an admin I really like all the features that are available.

Some obvious features are still missing from the modern version of the platform. I know the company is working on it and I am confident they will eventually include everything.
