powerful and user-friendly platform

Pros

Getting our training program running was so easy and fast, even with users spread across different locations and time zones. Our team finds the platform simple to navigate and I have hardly gotten any complaints about how to use it. The customer support is also great as there is always someone available to help. The overall value is much better than other competitors we looked at.

Cons

It would be fantastic if we could more easily customize the platform's design. Right now it is frustrating that we cannot add a larger logo or use a wider range of our brands colors. Plus we urgently need access to more detailed data like monthly unique users, new enrollments and completion rates. The current reporting is so limited that some leaders are considering switching to a different platform and adding these key metrics seems like it should be a simple update.

Very simple user interface

Pros

I think the user interface is very simple making it easy for anyone to understand, even if they are not familar with tech. Also it is user friendly and handles most of our needs perfectly. The onboarding process, from planning to launch was fantastic and the staff was amazing, we will really miss our implementation contact person as she was wonderful to work with.

Cons

The platform has a lot of features to learn. More hands-on practice in our own system would have made a big difference

Powerhouse for course creation

Pros

With the drag and drop course builder, I can put together videos, quizzes and SCORM courses in just a few minutes. I have also set up automated learning paths with prerequisites to guide users exactly where they need to go.

Cons

I feel like reporting tools are not consistent with time-on-task metrics, so the engagement data they show is not always accurate.

An amazing platform!!

Pros

We're really impressed with this platform. It's not only technically strong but also has a support team that's truly proactive. It's the easiest tool we've used to manage different localized courses across the company and the dashboard is really simple.

The user-friendly interface makes navigating and accessing courses simple. You can customize features for flexible training programs and there is a wide range of tools to track how learners are progressing. The support team is also very responsive and fixes all our issues quickly.

Cons

Great value and support

Pros

TalentLMS pricing is great and the AI features in TalentCraft are a big plus! The customer service is exceptional too as they went above and beyond to help us set up our first branch homepage and his support was invaluable.

Cons

We'd love to see a few improvements to make the platform work better for us. More freedom to brand our portals and build out our homepage would help and resolving the issues with the dual interface would stop the broken links and user confusion we're seeing.

unmatched support!!

Pros

I find the platform easy to use and the tech support is unmatched. It is affordable too and can be customized to fit all of our members training needs.

Cons

Right now, we can't customize embedded videos in TalentCraft modules like adding subtitles the same way we can in video-only modules. It would be a huge help if we could get some basic video editing tools and the ability to add multiple subtitle files for different languages all at once.

Impressive help desk & AI feature

Pros

My recent help desk experiences have been great as they respond quickly and stick with you until the problem is solved. The new AI course creation feature is pretty impressive too though it still needs a little work, it's already helping us improve our courses.

Cons

The e-commerce function does not let an external client place a single order for multiple people or courses which forces us to handle manual sign-ups.

Pros

We use it for online employee training to boost performance and it is easy to track everyones progress. We also sometimes conduct online interviews for applicants which saves us both time and money.

Cons

There is not much to dislike about it as it is reliable, easy to use and secure. The only limitation is that it has fewer advanced online training features.

Flexible sales onboarding solution!

TalentLMS lets us build structured onboarding programs for new sales reps. We can create courses on sales techniques, handling objections, negotiation, prospecting and closing deals. Plus it supports videos, presentations and quizzes and the mobile app lets our sales team access training from any device.

Incredibly easy to use!!

Pros

TalentLMS is incredibly easy to use. I use it with Articulate 360 and the ability to add SCORM files and then build additional lessons around them is awesome. My previous LMS did not have this as it was either just the SCORM course or their own limited authoring tool. But this blends both perfectly.

Cons

I do not have much to complain about but it is frustrating that key features like AI assistance and automation are locked behind the most expensive pricing tier.

Easy to use and personalize

Pros

Honestly, we're really happy with how easy the platform is to use and customize for our brand. And the reporting feature has been working perfectly for us it handles everything we need without any fuss.

Cons

The platform works well for the most part though we do run into occasional glitches. The video assignment feature can be inconsistent depending on the device and while we've found ways to manage it, it's not ideal. It's also worth noting that a dedicated account manager is only available on their premium plan.

Incredibly easy for everyone

Pros

You know the best thing about TalentLMS is that it's just so easy for everyone. The admins, the instructors, even the learners, no one gets stuck trying to figure it out. I also love that they're constantly adding fresh courses to their library. It really helps keep the content feeling updated and engaging for our team.

Cons

The available courses feel pretty basic. Since I work for a tech company that uses AI, it would be great to have more advanced AI courses for non-technical roles, not just the introductory one. The reporting function could also be more detailed as for now it is not bad but it has room for improvement.

You get a powerful set of features for the price compared to other systems. We have been able to grow our user base without a huge cost increase and it has all the core features we need for a positive learning experience. The recent interface overhaul also made everything look modern and fresh.

Cons

I wish you could add more types of content to a single page. For instance the rich text editor lets you embed videos, but only from YouTube or Vimeo, not the ones you upload yourself.

A user-friendly interface for all!

Pros

Let me tell you why I like this platform so much: the interface works beautifully in both versions, the knowledge base answers all my questions and their YouTube guides are so good I use them in my own training. Even building a homepage was simpler than I expected. I'm a true convert!

Cons

It can be a bit glitchy and sometimes shows me 404 or 500 errors. I have reported this to the support team and they are looking into it.

Not only is Talent LMS incredibly user-friendly but I've also discovered a much smoother workflow. Converting PowerPoints to MP4 videos before uploading makes a huge difference compared to using the original files.

Cons

The new AI tool does not let us add a voiceover and it does not use the entire file you upload which cuts out too much of the information I need.

Our company can create self-paced training with TalentCraft and offer extra short, interactive courses from the TalentLibrary. Their support team is also exceptional and always ready to guide us.

a dream for a solo admin!

It is extremely user-friendly, as the only system admin for our company, I find it easy to upload documents and organize employees into their correct departments.

Working with them has been a pleasure; they are so friendly and responsive with their support.

Cons

When it comes to setting up and implementing the platform, you are pretty much left to your own devices. Support tickets are an option, but live calls are not on the table. Instead, they direct you to webinars and their knowledge base. The user experience for admins and learners leaves much to be desired with its limited features and difficulty managing courses and users.

Good Customer Service

Pros

Over the year using TalentLMS, the team at Epignosis has been fantastic. Even without a dedicated customer success manager, their general support team has been exceptional in resolving our queries. We initially chose TalentLMS for its affordability and multi-tenant capability and have not looked back since.

Cons

The branches feature functions adequately, but adding users manually to branches is a hassle. Switching between branches is alright but not seamless. What really bothers us is that each branch requires its own SSO configuration and login portal. It would be fantastic to have a unified login screen using SSO credentials to direct learners automatically to their respective branches based on their email addresses. Although we can work around this with Zapier, relying on an integration engine to link TalentLMS back to itself feels absurd.

Easy-to-use LMS

Pros

Setting up and using TalentLMS is a breeze, even for non-HTML/CSS experts like me. Managing courses and tracking learner progress align perfectly with our business processes. Their support team is outstanding, and being involved in beta testing is a breeze. Plus, all developments on TalentLMS are covered in the annual license fee.

Cons

As someone not well-versed in HTML/CSS, it is challenging to determine if views can be modified even after some research. However, the GUI suits our learners, and most prefer to stick with the current look and feel, gradually transitioning to the Beta version.
