“Location tracking eases management

Pros

This tool's department and location feature helps me manage users within my location and track individual progress making it easier than managing everything as an admin.

Cons

I wish reporting was more efficient with automated emails to department heads and admins about course progress. Also content creation has font restrictions and embedding sound isn't possible. Zapier integration is also missing and quizzes are limited to multiple choice or true/false.

I think the process of registering users, assigning courses, tracking progress and printing certificates is extremely simple and easy to follow. It provides all the information I need which makes the entire experience clear and efficient.

Cons

The new updates can make finding things I did on the old system a little tricky but the support team is always available so it's never a real problem.

I enjoy the variety of training available and how easy it is to assign it to people. The platform feels very user friendly to me.

The thing I noticed that some functions are missing, like sending reminders to everyone, easily seeing who hasn't done training and getting notifications when training is completed.

Having all training in one place is great and I like that certificates are automatically generated. I also enjoy creating my own training courses.

It would be great if managers could receive weekly reports about their team. Currently admins handle it all and I'd love to see integration with our HR system so training records and certificates are automatically updated.

Some courses weren't available even though they were listed which made me a bit frustrated at first but I still found plenty of valuable content to complete.

The courses aren't very engaging sometimes, it's often a video followed by lots of text which makes it hard for me to absorb everything.

I found it tricky to remove staff who have left, though I understand this is a feature since archived staff can return to their accounts if needed.

It's a highly effective eLearning tool for our organisation. I find it provides great value for money, is simple to use and allows customizeing courses to our specific needs, especially crucial Health and Safety training.

I appreciate the ability to create custom certificates with our company logo but the platform would benefit from an online tutorial or user guide for administrators and course creators to understand all the new features like Roles, Departments and Locations.

For my purporses, I use the platform to train and induct seasonal staff each year. It allows me to introduce our brand, explain protocols and ensure everyone completes health and safety training. I can create bespoke modules with engaging visuals and bulk uploading new starts with unique profiles makes assigning courses easy. The reports help me monitor engagement and soon line managers will have control to add their own content which makes it even more customized.

Cons

I'd love to do more bulk uploads like archiving staff at the end of the season. The system is simple so even if I forget something I can work it out quickly and the Tayl team is fantastic at supporting large scale changes.

It is easy for me to use, cost effective compared to other providers and gives me flexibility along with content ownership.

Cons

What I wish for the most is that TAYL existed 10 years ago! Time is so limited, yet training is crucial and I really appreciate how it allows flexible learning while helping department managers stay on top of mandatory courses.

No cons for me, as long as I have an internet connection, this tool is simple and works perfectly.
