Pros

Getting started with this tool was easy for me and the low cost made it accessible when I was just beginning. Organizing and laying out my course felt natural and the admin dashboard was simple to navigate.

Cons

We outgrew Teachable and needed more features, so moving to Tayl was just the right choice for our growing community and platform. Some tech issues popped up but I am sure that has long been resolved.

I've found this tool helps me sell my courses easily with a built in payment option and I can track student progress clearly with the engagement overview.

Cons

One annoyance I've had is that bigger sales pages can sometimes take too long to load which slows down workflow a little.

Adding videos, quizzes and downloadable PDFs to my courses feels simple and the AI generated outlines and subtitle translations improve accessibility for diverse learners worldwide.

The slow backend syncing and occasional inaccessibility during high traffic has been frustrating for me and my team but manageable with planning.

Since becoming a customer in late 2018, this tool made it simple for me to get my school online. Setting up courses, embedding videos and answering student questions was easy, though I would now be cautious recommending it to anyone looking to build a business.

Cons

Biggest challenge I've faced is the lack of support. No live chat, tickets handled in an obscure system and answers often just point me to the knowledge base. Analytics are weak too, making it hard to filter students across multiple courses without downloading and manipulating CSVs. Comment management is also clunky which complicates interactions with students.

This tool has been holding over a month's worth of my business revenue without releasing the funds and I've reached out multiple times via email and their support portal but received no response.

Cons

This lack of transparency has directly impacted my operations. I've experienced missed payroll, delayed services and lost revenue. The platform gave no warning about potential issues, making resolution extremely difficult.

I really enjoy how easy the this tool interface is to navigate and I find it visually appealing for both setting up a course and presenting the final product.

Cons

I feel that this tool offers a bit less engagement and activity options compared to other course development platforms I've used.

As an LMS user, I appreciate the ability to create coaching sessions, memberships and courses. The interface felt comfortable for me and for my students which makes content creation much easier.

Cons

The limits on the number of courses and teachers made it hard for me to create the school exactly how I envisioned it. It wasn't scalable enough for mixing subscriptions, mentoring, 1:1 sessions and private areas for students.

Pros

I find this tool great for launching an online school with minimal effort. I can customize content, track sales and learner progress and build quizzes and certifications, all while enjoying a user friendly dashboard.

Cons

Though it's basic and affordable compared to rivals, I find some features like email automation pretty useless. The so called marketing tools don't feel complete and transaction fees are really high.

It's frustrating when support is nonexistent, my payments haven't been released for two months and no one responds to my inquiries.

I've experienced poor client support. I submitted three tickets in three weeks with no responses and the funds didn't arrive as expected.

I've had horrible experiences with customer support. I couldn't access a music course I purchased and another course has been inaccessible for a week with no response, it's very frustrating.

I bought it at the beginning of the pandemic in spring 2020 and at that time, I found it to be best in class for online teaching.

The aesthetics of the platform feel outdated for me after so many years and it's disappointing that there hasn't been much improvement.

Setting up was simple and came at a discount which makes it easier for me compared to other more expensive platforms back in 2020.

I have noticed that after the cost has increased and features were removed from plans, customer support became rare. Downgrading from Pro to Basic meant losing access to the �Founders� community which I really valued.

Overall my experience has been great. I started with the Free plan and it's super easy to use even for someone not tech savvy. The resources are really helpful especially for course creators with five or more courses.

Cons

Sometimes the system is slow and throws errors. While it's expensive, at least anyone can start with the Free or Basic plan to test it out.

Having been a student on this tool before, I felt confident trying it as an admin for my own business. I like how it hosts all content securely, optimizes videos via Wistia and the drip feature helps me control module access for my clients.

Cons

At the start of my online business, I couldn't afford the costs and commissions and the limited design options made it hard for me to keep a consistent brand image.

This tool makes selling online courses easy without worrying about separate video hosting or payment processing. Uploading content and creating a curriculum is easy and starting with pre made templates saves a lot of time.

Cons

If sales are low, I struggle to justify the monthly expense. The login system is confusing, especially when I had multiple accounts but I've gradually collected them under one master account.
