We find Totara Learn to be extremely adaptable, constantly discovering new ways to utilize its features.
Cons
You can customize nearly everything in Totara, which initially felt a bit daunting. However, once we configured everything and got familiar with the system, it became quite manageable to use.

Totara Learn fulfills all our requirements and more. Although it can be a bit complicated during the setup process, once everything is in place, it works great. It is mainly beneficial for generating reports and saving time.
Cons
The software can be quite complex to set up entirely, but fortunately, we had Chambury to guide and assist us.

The ability to tailor the learning platform to end-user needs (fully customizable) - audience management for adaptive learning, programs & certifications, activity/course completion tracking - design and navigation: responsive themes, dashboards, branding.
Cons
Recommending courses or programs to colleagues isn't currently possible. Adding more standard features to the course page would help us, as instructional designers, create higher-quality courses for end users, such as allowing them to upload videos, podcasts, and PDFs.

Pros
Totara is very flexible and easy to use. It offers many features that other LMSs lack. The report-building feature is excellent; you don't need to be a database expert to create reports. It also allows easy branding of the LMS. Learning Plans are integrated into the LMS, making it easy to create Individual Development Plans.
Cons
Some administrative features need improvement. For instance, performing a search within an administrative task results in a long list to scroll through, which can be cumbersome when dealing with thousands of courses. Adding search boxes for all administrative tasks would be very helpful.

This software has a minimal learning curve, which is ideal in a workplace where disruption is unwelcome. The tech stack is modern, and the software's load times are good. The layout and user experience are decent, possibly better than average LMS platforms.
Cons
Integrations and supported activities are insufficient. It would be better if it were fully responsive, as some elements still render poorly. The price point is high for the value delivered, and increasing rates upon renewal might be a tough sell.
