“flexible inspections that scale”
Pros
Getting this up and running was very easy and using it day to day has been just as simple. It has replaced our old paper based inspections and helped us consolidate several different inspection apps and processes into CheckProof. The system also feels flexible and scalable, which has been a big advantage for our operations.
Cons
Reporting could be worked on and improved. It would be a huge improvement if we could create more tailored customer reports because the current limitations make it frustrating when we need audit evidence or want to share key metrics with operational managers.

“strong compliance and consistency”
Pros
It fits really well with a governance led inspection approach. The overall setup of sites, users, templates, scheduling, execution and review lines up naturally with the way we're trying to standardise processes. The hierarchy makes sense and the audit trail is a big strength because it clearly shows who completed inspections when they were done and what was flagged. That level of visibility helps a lot with compliance and keeping consistency across multiple sites without having to create a system from the ground up. It has also helped cut down the variation between locations. In our setup different sites often develop their own working habits so having a shared set of templates, frequencies and outputs makes a real difference. It reduces the drift you usually see with paper-based or loosely controlled systems. Usability is another plus. The interface is easy to use, works well on mobile and you dont need technical knowledge to run it, which matters a lot in a quarry environment. In reality, that means inspections are more likely to be completed properly instead of just being marked as done. Where it delivers best for us is as a data capture tool. Its workflow for capture, defect identification and review handles the inspection process effectively and if you want it can also feed into a broader systems landscape.
Cons
It can be very inflexible. Changing the structure, whether that's site setup, templates or naming conventions, is much harder than I expected. Once everything is in place, adapting it isn't easy and that becomes an issue when you want to refine or improve the system over time. This has been especially difficult while merging data from two companies. There isnt a simple way to map or restructure data during a system merge so bringing information together from different sources ends up being a manual task instead of something the platform can handle directly. Limited access to our data inside CheckProof is another drawback. We can export some information but not all of it, which puts limits on how we can use that data outside the platform. I've also seen a few problems with admin controls. Selector buttons used to enable or disable features or permissions don't always behave the way they should. For instance, a setting may appear to be turned on but not actually become active. At times this seems to be because something still needs to be enabled on the CheckProof side, which can be confusing. It's not a major problem and support usually helps sort it out but it's still worth mentioning.

“a very user friendly app”
Pros
Building checklists, setting up units and organizing rounds is easy to do. The phone app is simple for operators to use and there are plenty of different options available.
Cons
A downside is that the app doesn't work without a connection. I would have preferred having a simpler way to save everything on the device first and sync it later.

“live issue tracking that delivers”
Pros
Being able to log plant issues as they happen has been really valuable and the customer support has been solid as well. It also gives operators a practical way to capture live operational problems and helps a lot with organizing task lists for the maintenance team.
Cons
The breakdown analysis could be better. It would help to have a simpler way to pull data and turn it into charts, although it's only a minor issue and still manageable.

“versatile fit with strong support”
Pros
CheckProof is a versatile tool with a lot of features and it can be adjusted to match the specific needs of the business. The customer support team is also very helpful whenever assistance is needed.
Cons
There are times when the amount of information stored in CheckProof can feel overwhelming. Occasionally some updates also create issues.

“Flexible maintenance control”
Pros
Right from the start CheckProof felt simple to work with and the team picked it up quickly without much effort. It has really helped with maintenance management by making planning more proactive and cutting down on downtime. Task scheduling is clear, which gives everyone better visibility and accountability so things are far less likely to be missed. Simple logging, a solid audit trail and better support for safety improvements makes reporting deviations simple as well. Customer support has been consistently responsive, knowledgeable and dependable whenever needed. It also helps that the developers actually listen to feedback and keep improving the system on a regular basis. Having real time visibility into daily operations gives much better control overall and the efficiency gains have been noticeable because it simplifies processes and saves a lot of time.
Cons
One limitation is that the system depends heavily on users entering accurate data so its value really comes down to the quality of the input. There are also some integration gaps since it doesn't connect smoothly with every existing system.

“excellent visibility and support”
Pros
Getting started with the app was very easy and using it day to day has been just as simple. It offers plenty of options for capturing HSEQ and maintenance tasks along with checklists, which has made it very practical for our needs. Team visibility across the site is excellent, helping us organize our operations and strengthen accountability. On top of that the support from the CheckProof team has been outstanding.
Cons
We've run into a few minor glitches here and there but each one has been resolved by the team within a reasonable timeframe. Aside from that, it's been a very positive experience overall so there isn't really anything negative to mention.

“great maintenance control”
Pros
Rolling this out across the business was very easy because the system is extremely simple to use. It has made a big difference in the quality of deviation information we get for both fixed and mobile equipment, which has made the whole process much more efficient. Since the insights are captured directly from the users, where the information is most accurate, we're in a much better position to manage maintenance work and schedule the downtime needed for repairs and inspections.
Cons
Building checklists in the system still takes a fair amount of effort when there's no AI assistance available. The compliance module also doesn't perform the way it should.

“updated our processes”
Pros
The intial phase of getting started takes a little getting used to but once it clicks, CheckProof is very user friendly and simple to work with. The customer support has also been excellent. One of the biggest benefits is that we no longer need to print huge amounts of paper to complete our checks, which really makes the whole process feel much more up to date.
Cons
At the start we had to make quite a few changes so the system would fit the needs of our site but once that was sorted out, everything worked well.

“strong platform”
Pros
Across the site it has been a very effective way to improve accountability and visibility. Being able to raise, track and close deviations in real time helps bring recurring reliability and safety issues to the surface that might otherwise be missed or dealt with too late. It's especially valuable that checks can be tied directly to actions so the team has a clear view of what needs to be done and the reason behind it. From a management standpoint it provides a solid overview of where issues are coming from by unit or area. That makes prioritising and decision making much better. It's also a strong platform for reinforcing standards especially when it's used properly alongside structured inspections and follow up actions.
Cons
A lot depends on how disciplined the users are. If checks aren't completed thoroughly or deviations are entered without enough detail, the quality of the data drops and the system becomes less effective. Parts of the interface could also be more streamlined, particularly when you're reviewing a high volume of deviations or trying to spot trends quickly. It also relies on having a consistent setup for rounds, standards and descriptions and that takes some time to establish properly at the beginning. Without that consistency, the reporting can end up being unclear.

“great for maintenance tracking”
Pros
Keeping on top of upcoming and completed maintenance is much more manageable with CheckProof. Whenever we need to provide copies of records, they can be pulled up within moments. It also works really well for carrying out daily on-site checks before work begins and those checks are just as simple to keep an eye on from the office. The website interface is very user friendly and adaptive. Whenever questions come up, support is always there to help, whether it's something the daily users need assistance with or help understanding the data we review in the office.
Cons
Since we handle our servicing in house, it would be even better if that side was a little more integrated although we've been able to work around it without too much trouble.

“good for quick inspections”
Pros
CheckProof gives us a fast, user friendly way to handle all of our regulator inspections, company wide checks, compliance work and admin tasks. It brings multiple operations into one clear platform so there's no need to dig through site folders, which saves time and helps us address action items much faster.
Cons
Getting people to switch to the Planning Tool instead of follow up has been challenging. It does have benefits but some things, like monthly inspections, only appear at the start of the month when you're using calendar view. There have also been installation problems that managers are still having trouble working through.

“an all in one platform”
Pros
Having everything in CheckProof in one central place has been a big plus for us. It's a digital platform that helped us move away from paper, line up all the checks we use across the company and manage users, checks and locations from a single system. Audit trails are there when we need them, planned maintenance is much simpler to handle and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Cons

Pros
Using the system has been very easy and the company genuinely works with you to fit your specific needs. On top of that the customer service I've received has been really good.
