It's relatively intuitive and most areas are easy to use without extensive exploration. One of the benefits is the ability to navigate between modules quickly via rightclick. There are multiple ways to access the same information.

Reporting can be cumbersome unless you're familiar with Crystal Reporting or have the time to create custom reports.

EDI setup is consistently problematic and obtaining assistance is difficult and costly especially regarding report generation for labels.

The update process often breaks functioning parts of the software. Accounting processes frequently fail to post to the correct GL accounts in the backend. The software is also prohibitively expensive. KPIs and Webdirect functionality are unreliable.

This system covers everything from quoting and customer management to sales purchasing engineering manufacturing quality control material review board nonconformance and returns. It also includes HR modules and document control. The software supports warehouse and distribution functions with scanners and barcoding. There are numerous addons available within the same software company and it's possible to integrate thirdparty spreadsheet addons for effortless reporting. The system offers exceptional continuity and the schedule feature is genuinely useful eliminating the need for external scheduling. With crystal report writer every report can be customized to specific requirements. The software allows for custom fields in various areas giving users the freedom to add fields that might not be available by default. We have implemented the core packages and added MRO Quality Document Control with plans to include HR and warehouse management packages soon.

It is a comprehensive package. EIQ provides the essential functionality to meet the general requirements of most manufacturing companies. Once you grasp the layout design and functionality of one module the others become intuitive as they have a similar appearance.

The French language integration is poorly executed and expensive. Updates are not synchronized with the English version making it challenging to use both simultaneously.

The software is userfriendly allowing easy navigation to different modules within each screen. Upgrades are straightforward and can be done by our inhouse staff.

IQMS developed custom software for us however when it comes to the the process of resolving issues and receiving updates it is frustratingly slow. We often have to wait for months for IQMS to release updates to address problems and even then the updates may not fully resolve the issues. While the phone support is generally good it would greatly benefit from improved facetoface customer and service support.
