“IQMS Review”
Pros
Realtime access to information is my favorite aspect of this software. We use the modules to connect to machines and this data drives many of our decisions. The system has extensive functionality and we are aware that we are not utilizing it to its fullest extent. It has been helpful as we continue to grow as a manufacturing company.
Cons
I would like to notify one thing and that is The requirement to upgrade to a completely new version for any changes is inconvenient. It would be preferable if updates could be applied through patches instead. The process of finding solutions to system issues is timeconsuming often leading to the need for workarounds. While webbased solutions may alleviate this problem development and corrections will likely still require significant time. Furthermore customer service quality has declined since our initial engagement in 2011. Support calls often result in being directed to help pages that have already been visited and failed to resolve the issue at hand.

“IQMS Review”
Pros
The software represents a significant improvement over our previous system. We particularly appreciate its ability to provide us with realtime information instead of delayed reporting as we had before.
Cons
The software often attempts to cater to a wide range of needs resulting in a common joke among users that suggests dropping IQMS and returning as a new customer to receive new functionality or bug fixes. The company seems more inclined to accommodate new sales than address issues with buggy releases and support which sometimes merely parrots information found in help screens and online documentation. To maintain their standing as a toptier provider these concerns must be addressed.

“IQMS Software Review”
Pros
IQMS offers everything necessary to operate an injection molding business and more including quoting production reporting inventory management shipping and accounting.
Cons
It appears that changes in the software sometimes occur based on user suggestions. While this responsiveness is positive it raises questions about whether the majority or only a few vocal users drive these changes. Specifically a recent change made entering a quote due date mandatory which can be disruptive as it interrupts the quote creation process requiring users to return to the first page.

“IQMS is an Excellent Choice for Manufacturing ERP & MES”
Pros
It is very manufacturingfriendly and has all the functionality required to run an entire manufacturing company. Additionally the IQMS MES system seamlessly provides valuable realtime data. It offers draganddrop charts that integrate quality data with process data tolerance settings to monitor processes and workflows to eliminate paperwork and enable paperless processes forms and reports. It includes built in communication between departments along with document control and storage. With built in mobility I can stay informed about everything happening even while on the road.
Cons
The financial package lacks robust drilldown capabilities for variances when using standard costing versus actual costing. However the newest version claims to address this though personal experience with it is limited.

“Satisfied long time customer”
Pros
Overall IQ allows for quick retrieval of most data with high accuracy. The accurate records and easy access are advantageous for standards compliance and financial recordkeeping and reporting.
Cons
Performance slows down when handling large amounts of data especially with frequent data transfers between the machine and server. The WebIQ feature aims to alleviate this issue including label printing and access to external documents.

“IQMS Pros & Cons”
Pros
Realtime monitoring allows us to constantly stay updated on the shop floor's machine activity. Having visibility into inventory at each step of our process has improved our scheduling decisions. Barcode scanning has enhanced lot tracking back to the raw material by simply knowing the serial number.
Cons
New users may find the software overwhelming. Setting up certain modules can be confusing and timeconsuming.

“Decent software just lacking in design and ease of use.”
Pros
Excellent support provided for system administration and EDI support.
Cons
The learning curve for new users on interface 15.3 and general navigation can be challenging. There are specific search methods that should be more userfriendly. The software's client/server connection on a Gigabit network feels sluggish at times. However it does provide detailed information. Crystal Report reporting requires significant effort. Adding sorting options or allowing users to create quick sorts/reports would be beneficial such as a SKU listing.

“IQMS for what?”
Pros
Consolidating CRM inventory management and manufacturing tracking into a single system is beneficial for streamlining processes.
Cons
A fully trained admin is necessary to run the software effectively. However this can create challenges when multiple team members with different priorities need their edits. Updates can also reset previous user settings.
