“Useful tool for project management”
Pros
I find it easy to track and generate reports using the built-in functionality.
Cons
What I don't like is that you have to map all the way from Requirement to Test plan to Test lab and it is when you finally learn about the defects.

“ALM doesn't have the bang for the buck.”
Pros
This software is excellent for tracking requirements, tests and keeping tabs on resolved issues. However, the reporting feature is a bit complex and not user-friendly.
Cons
I believe there should be a higher-level review that gives management insight into the project.

“Quality center is still going strong”
Pros
All the features that other ALM tool manufacturers claim actually work better in QC. It's simple to use, and you can easily filter and find things through traces. The test planning capabilities are more advanced than most other tools. Administration is easy, and it's convenient for searching and presenting during audits. The risk management possibilities are remarkable if people start from scratch with clear ideas.
Cons
The interface on Explorer is not entirely web-based, and it has an outdated appearance.

“Good software for test management”
Pros
The defect and quality management portal for a project is easy to use and well organized. There are various reporting options available.
Cons
Overall, it's good software, but it feels a bit heavy when loading, and the user interface could be more friendly and faster, which would be more helpful.

“A Quality tool that lost its edge for Agile Development”
Pros
The organization of functions (requirements, plans, tests, runs, reports) makes perfect sense. The traceability across different phases of a release works exceptionally well.
Cons
I find it challenging to adapt this tool's organization to Agile sprints and releases. It requires significant effort to make it work properly in an Agile environment.

“Review on ALM quality center”
Pros
Application lifecycle management is a leading tool in software deployment programs as it plays a key role in capturing metrics for each story and tracking the testing process. It allows capturing bugs during development and assigning them to the respective peers.
Cons
It's easy to trace the development process and identify issues, and trace them through ALM.

“ALM review”
Pros
It's easy to maintain test cases, test plans and the test lab. Integrating QTP with the BPT framework in ALM was a seamless process.

“Good project management tool”
Pros
I like that it's user-friendly and provides a central location for all the details of every release in my project. It's convenient to access test cases and execute daily testing. Defect tracking is also highly efficient.
Cons

“Test Management tool ALM”
Pros
I found a single solution for all my Test Management needs, including test planning, execution and defect management. It's fast, reliable and supports end to end traceability. I also like its integration with the UFT automation tool. I can easily upload existing Excel test cases and manage access for different user types. It's a web-based tool with API available for automation.
Cons
Sometimes, it failed to download components in the browser due to access level issues. Unfortunately, it lacks support for major automation tool Selenium. Additionally, exporting attachments with test cases is not possible, and it has a high cost per user. If ALM is closed and reopened, it may show object locking for the same test. There is no support to update defects from Excel, except through the automation API.

“Defect tracking tool ALM”
Pros
I can see defect tracking, test case execution status and requirement mapping all in one place. Retrieving data is fast, and it helps me manage defects on a daily basis. Creating requirement matrices is easy, and I can use macros to automate tasks.
Cons
The option to move from ALM to Excel needs more improvement.

“Good tool to have a centralized place for your application lifecycle”
Pros
ALM offers numerous features that improves software development. It provides various reporting options, including dashboards, Excel reports, Word reports, graphs, KPI analysis and progress status. Integrating ALM with Performance Center tools allows for comprehensive testing progress reports with minimal effort.
Cons
Customizing the tool is not as simple as I thought. It requires a lot of trial and error. There are numerous options that cannot be changed from their default values. The guides and documentation could be clearer. Customer support for technical issues is slow to respond, and problem resolution takes a significant amount of time.

“Best software life cycle management tool, worth to use”
Pros
There are several standout features that make life easier for software professionals. These include traceability matrix, end-to-end traceability, integration with other tools like JIRA, REST API for developing Excel macro utilities, UFT integration, cross-project customization, defect management process, business Excel add-in for loading entities, risk-based planning and execution, corporate LDAP user management with single sign-on options, business process testing, and auto-pass license server configuration.
Cons
Aside from the high license cost, I find all the features beneficial. However, there is one feature that is still not comfortable and that is version management with check-out/check-in entities.

“A great tool to use for reporting QA metrics to the business.”
Pros
This software simplifies the creation of organized test sets in a tree structure. I can easily extract metrics and visualize them in various graph formats.
Cons
I strongly dislike that it only supports Internet Explorer. It would be great if it were compatible with other platforms, which are less prone to bugs.
