“Strong ERP for midmarket Make to Stock / Make to Order manufacturers”
Pros
Epicor Kinetic is an ERP system that I find robust and well developed as they are constantly pushing for innovation. The core function and structure are solid, and the included modules offer great features. Additionally, there is an availability of the great architecture options for customization.
Cons
Over the years, numerous features have been added, some through acquisitions, but not all are executed well or at the same level of functionality. The new UI still seems like it's in the Beta phase, although all new features are developed for it. Internal support is lacking, but there is a robust consulting and user community that partially compensates for it.

I particularly like the way it allows for on-the-run presentation of dashboards and reports.

“Epicor replaces SAP”
Pros
The software is easy to use, specifically designed for manufacturing, and integrates well with other platforms.
Cons
While Epicor is a good ERP, unfortunately, the ERP industry tends to focus more on acquiring new customers rather than catering to their existing ones, and Epicor is part of that trend. The industry as a whole needs to improve its quality and customer service.

“Epicor for Order Entry and Financial Management”
Pros
Epicor is relatively easy to use and learn. Our entire organization relies on Epicor for order entry, accounting and financial management. It serves as our primary ERP software, used 90% of the time.
Cons
We encounter frequent performance issues with our on-premise Epicor system. Communication between the app server and database server often experiences problems due to which we have to reboot the systems to restore functionality.

“Epicor”
Pros
Epicor offers a wide range of features that have greatly assisted us in managing inventory and financials across various aspects of our business, including retail gas stations and business to business fuel deliveries nationwide.
Cons
The user interface lacked user-friendliness and had room for numerous improvements. The menus contained items with similar labels, which could be confusing. On the positive side, I could create custom menus for easier navigation. However, transferring these lists to new team members became challenging as I had to recall the original location of each item.

“My opinion on Epicor ERP”
Pros
I have been using this software for five years and have become expert with it. I really adore the software's approach, even though it required some adjustment. However, that is expected when implementing new software. This versatile product is better suited for larger companies, unlike mine where I previously worked as part of a team. However, due to the impact of COVID-19, I have transitioned to freelancing.
Cons
This software package allowed me to personalize and optimize contact management. However, making any changes proved difficult since I hadn't undergone the additional training module. It's worth noting that there are multiple security measures in place, which prevented me from canceling certain aspects.

Pros

“Full-featured mid-tier ERP based on Microsoft Stack (or cloud option)”
Pros
The MS stack simplifies customization for reporting and data storage. The configuration includes multiple tiers with a database, application server and options for web-clients, fat client, and terminal servers. There are numerous customization options besides code development. Also it covers multiple aspects. Upgrading is relatively easy, keeping us on current releases. The administrative tools are excellent and we can add resources as demand grows, including localizing servers for improved performance.
Cons
Honestly, there was nothing that caused any issue or I don't like. The software offers a wide range of modules, each with pretty simple configuration options.

“Manage your data with all-in-one tools.”
Pros
Epicor ERP offers great functionality for supply chain management, which is essential for our organization to maintain proper control and categorize the appropriate use of digital products across different departments. Moreover it also allows us to modify visual aspects and tailor it to our preferred environment. This tool has caught my attention, as it helps me familiarize myself with pending tasks.
Cons
It's worth mentioning that many functions commonly used by companies need to be added by users, which slows down the workflow and hinders productivity. This integration process within the software is a significant challenge which eventually impacts overall performance and profitability. An update in these areas of the system is necessary.
