“The solution to management of QMS activities and Events
Pros
Qualio has been continuously improving every quarter to meet customer needs by incorporating suggestions for improvements provided by customers and aligning with current GMP regulations.

“Quality Review
Pros
The greatest advantage of Qualio is that it allows me to customize everything according to my own operations. Additionally, their support team is exceptional.
Cons
There is room for improvement in the document management aspect. Resonance Health has encountered numerous issues where individuals with access to create drafts did so without prior permission and without any genuine need for new documents. This creates difficulties in maintaining log control within Qualio.

“Good but could be great
Pros
I find Qualio super easy to use, with the exception I'll mention below. It does a great job of reminding me about pending tasks that need completion. With a little instruction, it's easy for anyone to pick up. The onboarding process was smooth.
Cons
The word processing component can be annoying at times. While it is designed for ease of use, I find that Qualio's word processing unit lacks certain features compared to Microsoft Word. Firstly, the toolbar is quite minimal, and I would like to have more formatting tools at my disposal. Secondly, the formatting in the online word processing is poor. I constantly have to export the documents to ensure that my worksheets aren't fragmented across different pages. It would be beneficial to have some sort of preview for page alignment, so that I don't have to repeatedly download a PDF when formatting worksheets.

“Qualio disappointing
Pros
I really like the Document Lifecycle management and the control it provides over documents. It would be beneficial to have the option to create separate libraries, such as one specifically for Technical Documents, rather than relying on tags.
Cons
In terms of cost, I find that Qualio doesn't offer much value when compared to manual systems. Most tasks in Qualio require the same level of effort as a manual system, with the exception of document control and lifecycle management (although some software does offer version control!). I'm also disappointed with the price increase implemented last year, and the fact that Qualio couldn't negotiate or provide sufficient justification for it. We are actively exploring other suppliers as a result.

“Qualio review
Pros
One aspect I love about Qualio is its user-friendly interface. It excellently manages version control and facilitates a smooth review process.
Cons
Qualio fails to retain resolved comments. When I mark a review as completed in Qualio, I do not receive any email notification. Adding multiple rows at once to an existing table is not possible; only one row can be added. Additionally, I am unable to copy content across multiple rows. There is no functionality to replace one character string with another. Qualio also lacks the ability to notify if a specific reviewer has completed their review or allow comments from a particular reviewer once they have completed their review. Filtering comments from a specific reviewer is not possible, and it's not feasible to add multiple rows in a table. All users should have visibility of all documents in all states. Lastly, deleting comments is not an option.

“Quality is in it's name and it delivers!
Pros
Over the years, we have witnessed Qualio's platform grow. They have a dedicated team that strives to provide a product that meets client needs. They continuously improve upon previous versions, ensuring a seamless workflow at a reasonable cost. The service team is responsive and actively works on implementing necessary changes when a feature is unavailable. The interface is clean and easy to navigate. I highly recommend this platform, especially for smaller businesses and startups.
Cons
On some occasions, we have experienced delays in receiving much-needed editor and supplier management changes, even after a couple of feature releases. While the review process and audit trail are satisfactory, there are certain areas where change control falls short. Requesting approval to create drafts, risk assessment features, and accurately tracking changes between versions could be improved. At times, the system displays large portions of text as removed and replaced, even when only a few changes were made. It also occasionally presents all changes in rich text code, which is not easily readable for most users.

“Good but could be better
Pros
The document control and revision workflows in Qualio are intuitive and user-friendly. It's really nice that the application is entirely web-based which allows portability without the need for desktop software or storage.
Cons
It would be a significant advantage to have collaborators working on the same document. Additionally, the editor often fails to use the full width of the browser, making editing challenging in certain cases. The absence of a dark mode is my most requested feature. As there is a substantial amount of documentation involved in medical devices work, it becomes cumbersome to work on Qualio for extended periods without this feature. While I have used Chrome extensions as a way around, a native solution would be much more seamless. I kindly request the introduction of a dark mode for those software developers, like myself, who spend days working on Qualio. Furthermore, the page timeout can be frustrating when working on multiple documents concurrently throughout the day. Although I have noticed that upon re-login, I am often directed to the page I was originally working on, this has not been consistently reliable. Lastly, it is not possible to exit an attachment preview without scrolling to the top of the window and clicking the X. This can be quite frustrating, especially when viewing multi-page Word or PDF documents. In most cases, I end up downloading the attachment to preview it, simply to avoid scrolling all the way up to close it.

“Qualio has potential
Pros
One aspect I particularly like is the version control of documents and the ability to make minor changes without requiring re-training. The customer service is exceptional, quickly addressing any issues or queries.
Cons
The 'compare against' function in Qualio proves to be unhelpful as it often highlights entire sections of text instead of specific changes. Additionally, it displays code when modifications are made to tables or images. Another limitation is the inability to directly control revisions for templates. When templates are updated, changes within sections must be manually applied to documents in draft.

“Decent QMS support system
Pros
I value that all the essential functionalities like document management, CAPA, complaint handling and supplier management are available in the system. The referencing between events and documents works seamlessly. It's also relatively easy to customize templates and certain workflows. I also like that system improves regularly and they pay attention to provide validation documentation.
Cons
There are certain features that require more control, such as the implementation of new Event templates. This can significantly impact the quality system, yet there is no established workflow around it. Anyone with the appropriate access level can make changes without review or approval. The formatting of documents can also be inconsistent and challenging to work with at times. Lastly, there is a limitation when it comes to migrating from the sandbox to the production instance.

“Qualio is a great flexible QMS tool for small companies
Pros
I have had a great experience with Qualio's customer service, and the onboarding team was very helpful in quickly setting up the system. The flexibility of the system allows for customized processes using their Events feature, and I'm eagerly looking forward to implementing their new analytics features. The change control process is simple and intuitive.
Cons
When comparing Qualio to other eQMS systems, I have noticed the absence of certain basic functionalities. For instance, change control can only be applied to one document at a time, whereas most eQMS platforms allow for revising multiple documents simultaneously. Unfortunately, the system contains bugs across all modules, and the editing and tracking changes tools can be quite tedious and burdensome. Additionally, their design control module is primarily a requirements management tool and does not effectively assist with design control.

Pros
Qualio is easy to implement, maintain, deploy and use. The administration and implementation processes are simple too.
Cons
Similar to any QMS, there are minor areas that could be improved. It's great to see continuous improvements being made to the editor. One significant impact could be achieved by tailoring it to "manager" users, allowing them to view their employees' training on procedures, assign documents for training, and more, without having to rely on system administrators.

“A Great Quality Management System to get you started.
Pros
Qualio offers a fantastic user interface for creating, editing, reviewing, finding and extracting documents from a reliable document control system. This positive experience extends to their events module, where I can personalize audit and risk functionalities to align with my company's quality journey. The customer service, both during the platform induction and for everyday queries, is exceptional. The platform's help features make it easy for me to find quick assistance, and the regular webinars provide valuable insights into upcoming improvements in my Qualio experience. The sandbox environment is the best as it allows me to experiment before making any irreversible changes in the live environment.
Cons
While Qualio has been making daily improvements, there are still some sticking points in the document creation journey. The experience with creating, reviewing and approving documents is still lacking in terms of ease of use. The supplier event module is also relatively new and not yet a fully polished product, but it's moving in the right direction.

“Qualio is the Perfect eQMS - Simple and easy to use
Pros
Having all documents maintained electronically in a single system is a game-changer. I managed a manual QMS for over 13 years, and while it was manageable, Qualio has made it so much easier! The change control feature and Training module are huge bonuses, especially considering they were initially done manually for all those years.

Pros
The user-friendliness of Qualio is remarkable, and the onboarding team is amazing! They provide help throughout the entire process. Having access to Quality specialists is a major advantage, and both the onboarding manager and Quality specialist have been knowledgeable, patient and fantastic. They take feedback positively and share it with internal teams.
Cons
Regarding the Complaints module, I shared feedback with the Qualio team about having editable UDFs. There is room for improvement in document collaboration. It would be beneficial to have the ability to type in a tag instead of selecting from a drop-down list. In the drop-down, it would be useful to categorize the tags. For templates, it would be convenient to link them directly to documents. Additionally, it would be great if forms had revision control and could automatically stamp the form number instead of requiring manual addition.

“Customer Questionnaire
Pros
Qualio exceeds all expectations with its aesthetically pleasing interface, user-friendly experience and excellent support, all at a competitive cost. Working remotely has become the new normal due to Covid, but it's important to acknowledge the years of employees being tied to physical locations. With Qualio, we can now make our products available worldwide, providing some stability during economic downturns in the US.
Cons
I have noticed that there isn't a clearly defined way to provide feedback to the Qualio team for improvement suggestions. While my ideas have been addressed by Qualio, I believe there should be a ticket system in place to gather feedback on suggestions. This system could be implemented within Qualio and assigned to the IT department. The idea can then go through an approval or denial process, after which the ticket can be closed. It's a simple solution that would streamline the feedback process.

Pros
We have discovered that Qualio is easy and intuitive for non-expert users to navigate. By directly incorporating our most common forms into Qualio, we have eliminated numerous minor errors, ultimately saving our Quality Assurance team a significant amount of time.
Cons

Qualio offers a secure login/access process that can be customized to align with our specific protocol needs. The training process is also commendable, as it provides a clear understanding of one's progress through the training modules. Searching for documents is easy now which makes Qualio an excellent software for Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
Cons
I find it slightly inconvenient to switch from one page to another while reading a document.
