“Production Efficiency Gains & Improved Communication
Pros
It has improved our productivity and made implementation, use, and reporting much easier. It also facilitates communication among production employees and the management team.
Cons
Overall, I don't have anything we did not like about the software. One area that can be improved is the implementation of software upgrades. It can be done more seamlessly with close coordination between the Redzone team and our internal team.

“2020 Plant of the Year
Pros
Redzone played a crucial role in transforming the culture on our shop floor at Marianna Beauty. It gave our workers a voice that could be understood in various languages. It allowed employees to share their needs for success and track the progress as we implemented their ideas. Redzone revolutionized our communication and collaborative problem solving.
Cons
The part I like least about Redzone is also one of its biggest benefits. I have access to my plant 24/7 which is great but can also cause other issues. It's not uncommon to find myself in bed at night, dealing with operator issues and realizing it is now 1 am. The data provided by Redzone is immense and I find that I have to focus improvement efforts in specific areas or else dilute my efforts.

“Zatarain's Feedback
Pros
The system's overall structure enables us to use it to drive our business. I would say it's 20% a downtime system and 80% a tool for improving facility operations.
Cons
Problem Solving (Kaizen) is a bit cumbersome to use and lacks a 5 why template. Additionallythere is not as much analytics within the actual app compared to using Tableau for in-depth data analysis.

“PCB implemetation
Pros
The software is not just a performance measurement and tracking system. It also provides transparency and accessibility to our Management Operating System (MOS), enabling us to take action to address performance and facilitate communication between different levels of the organization. It was easy to install and required less investment compared to other systems we considered.
Cons
For large enterprises with multiple plants, the reporting capabilities at the enterprise roll-up level fall short of requirements.

“Great Software for a cultural transformation
Pros
Redzone is an impactful yet lightweight platform that instantly provides visibility into our 11 lines across 3 facilities. It supports multiple languages within the app and has native mobile support, making deployment hassle free. We were up and running within two weeks. The platform allows us to focus on outcomes rather than just activities. It has improved communication on the floor and offers seamless integration for quality, maintenance, and OEE.
Cons
Not necessarily a criticism of the software, but for our legacy multi-generation family manufacturing business, there was a steep learning curve for some of the technical aspects of on the floor data collection. Its important to ensure a strong IT infrastructure is in place. I would also like to see a special access "admin dashboard" available in a browser and integrations with cloud based digital signage features.

Cons
The setup of triggers can be a little confusing at first but our onsite coach was excellent at guiding us through it to make everything work the way we needed it to.

“Engaging Hearts & Minds
Pros
From the moment I experienced Redzone at a colleague's factory, I was captivated! After working in manufacturing continuous improvement for 15 years, I had never come across a digital solution that could easily connect operators' actions and standards to their performance results. Previously, we relied on manual tracking with whiteboards and paper checklists, which took away time from problem solving. The user friendly and engaging interface was a significant benefit, as it resembled how operators communicate in their personal lives. Throughout our implementation across 20 sites, I witnessed firsthand how this tool brought different generations together, enabling them to speak a common language and learn from each other in technology and equipment knowledge transfer.
Cons
One feature that could be explored is the ability to communicate between users across multiple sites enabling subject matter experts to collaborate and share best practices.

“RedZones compliance module
Pros
It's incredibly userfriendly, requiring minimal keystrokes to complete tasks. The coach assigned to us was amazing, working through all the issues we encountered during the program rollout.
Cons
For corrective actions it would be preferable if we didn't have to complete the entire data sheet before entering CAs.

“Maximize efficiency
Pros
Redzone is a fantastic tool for promoting competition among employees. We're always striving to beat each hour and the previous shift, and the real time productivity tracking shows us how we're performing, allowing me to identify areas where we can improve.
Cons
It has some glitches. To be fair it could be the sensors rather than the program but it can be frustrating when it stops working and takes time to get back online.
