Pros
There isn't one specific aspect I like the most about Redzone; it's a suite of features. From instant compliance and quality issue messaging to incorporating pictures and videos into communications, involving frontline operators in maintenance and quality, it has surpassed our expectations for managing quality systems at the highest standards.
Cons
Customizability is important to me but I understand that developers receive similar requests from everyone, so I try to be patient and wait for the next updates. Reporting in Tableau is great but I had to assign a staff member to handle it. I wish exporting data was easier.

Pros
Redzone provides forums, chats, photo capabilities, OEE data, and downtime tracking. The coaching support is exceptionally strong.
Cons
Many organizations will require assistance with the installation process. It's crucial for sensors, PLCs and wiring to function smoothly to maintain confidence in the data.

The software is incredibly user friendly, making it easy to handle and learn the features. We particularly appreciate being able to view detailed information for each production run, such as total cases produced, the number of people involved, and order completion time.
Cons
When we create actions some of them don't show up during our huddles, and sometimes the sensors dont accurately count the cases or bags. Our production supervisors suggested implementing a feature demonstrated to us in Redzone where we currently complete the PPSC form manually. We believe this would make the process more efficient and straightforward.

Pros
The software is comprehensive and offers a wide range of options. Generating reports is a breeze, and there is an abundance of data to draw from. Another aspect we love is having a handson technician to assist us with the software implementation, making the transition smooth and hassle free.
Cons
I do not have much to say here. Any initial issues we encountered were quickly resolved because Redzone can be customized to each business type.

“Buy Redzone - No Brainer!
Pros
The ease of use, especially for hourly workers and employees speaking different languages, is remarkable. It's as simple as identifying Red/Green and making a decision. The software effectively drives productivity, and the knowledge and support from Redzone Coaches are excellent. Accessing the historical data is fantastic, especially during BRC audits, impressing auditors and making the auditing process easier. There are many more benefits to mention; the list could go on and on.
Cons
I can't think of anything negative. Someone needs to take ownership and become an expert in using the software. Its not as simple as flipping a switch and forgetting about it.

Pros
Previously, we used spreadsheets to collect data at the end of each shift, resulting in a lag between data recording and decision making. Redzone has transformed this process by providing relevant data faster, enabling quicker informed decisions. Moreover, their coaching program has empowered our workforce to use the data and make decisions closer to the process, driving productivity. Even after three years, we continue to engage with Redzone through their coaching program as our learning partner.
Cons
The software has some limitations and isnt fully customizable at the application level. It can't cater to every business's needs, similar to the iOS platform its built on. This is both a strength and a weakness.

Redzone has significantly improved engagement and communication with our operators, who are at the core of our business. Now, everyone knows the score and whether they are winning or not in each shift and every day. Going paperless for quality checks has eliminated waste in our processes.
Cons
The reporting at the area level in the software is what I liked least. In our plant, multiple fillers work together as a system, and we had to rely on external data to generate reports at the area level.

Pros
We implemented Redzone in our company around five years ago. However, due to personnel changes and acquisitions, we didn't fully utilize its potential. After being acquired in 2020, our parent company initiated a Redzone rollout to their facilities, prompting us to relaunch the product in September 2020. With the help of a great coach, our staff was trained in Redzone and Lean Manufacturing methods. Although the increase in OEE wasn't as significant as expected during the relaunch, it provided us with a solid foundation. In Q1 of 2021, we introduced the Compliance module to track quality, resulting in a notable boost in OEE and a reduction in quality holds. The Compliance module ensures our staff stays on top of required checks, and the ability to capture pictures for documentation has impressed auditors during customer audits. We have also extended the use of Redzone to safety audits, leveraging its communication capabilities by broadcasting information on factory TVs.
Cons
Redzone is only available on iPads. While it would be nice to have a PC-based software option, its not a deal-breaker. We equip our managers, supervisors, QA, and maintenance techs with iPads so they can always monitor. Additionally, we can obtain a Tableau license to further analyze and visualize the data. It takes some practice to learn the softwaer but the support team is very helpful.

Every aspect of Redzone has contributed to the overall success of our operations. The communication tool stands out above all else, facilitating instant communication from operators to supervisors and managers. This drives faster results and quicker decision making, leading to an increase in OEE.
Cons
Learning Tableau reporting takes a lot of time, and I believe Redzone could provide more seminar trainings or support in this area. Although Redzone coaching is helpful its important to learn the system independently as well.

“The absolute best productivity software on the market
Pros
The software is easy to navigate and takes advantage of user trends. Its mobile and convenient nature is a plus, as most of our users are already familiar with operating smartphones or tablets. This makes the software intuitive and easy to use and train. Additionally, it has revolutionized communication in our plants, offering chat functions, attachments, pictures, and real time data. We are now constantly in sync in our plants, thanks to Redzone.
Cons
It's really difficult to find any negatives. We have been using the platform for years and it keeps improving. Redzone actively considers user feedback when developing new software versions.

It's a platform that anyone can use and access information. The level of detail you explore is up to you. You can use it as a communication tool or dive deep into the software. The transparency and openness of the platform are remarkable. Additionally, the ability to create and customize checks is highly advantageous and a gamechanger.
Cons
The maintenance package is exciting, but the inability to track inventory parts and place orders makes our leadership hesitant to make a decision. We would prefer our maintenance group to have everything in one system if possible.
