“Simple to use and features an excellent UI

Pros

The setup is incredibly easy and the AI quickly analyzes your website, giving you everything you need with just a few clicks. It also lets you track your competitors' A/B tests and even predicts their scores. Plus the customer service is quick and very helpful. Overall I mostly see positives and no major flaws.

Cons

The historical data available is limited and the time period you can review is quite short. The screenshots of ad copies aren't from the actual SERP page, which looks a bit odd in presentations. It's not a major problem but still something worth mentioning. The tool is also very expensive but if you can afford it, it's worth it.

One of the best features is the ability to monitor competitors across both SEM and SEO. Unlike other tools, Adthena scrapes Google's search results and provides its own data which is great for external validation.

Cons

One issue I have is the inability to automate reporting exports. While there is an API, it requires a very technical team for integration. It is possible to export data to Google's BigQuery and then into Datastudio but it's a cumbersome process.

It's great for finding out who your competitors are on specific search terms on Google Ads. You can also see what kind of ads they are running.

Cons

Sometimes the UI can be a bit glitchy but otherwise, everything works well. The customer service reps are extremely helpful and they respond quickly when you need assistance.

There is limited visibility regarding the time of day or day of the week performance. I also can't see estimated clicks for ads in the UI and the options for viewing screenshots of ads in the SERP are limited. It would be helpful to have more granular data about geo-performance.

I can more informed decisions about my ad campaigns and I also appreciate how it lets me know when new competitors enter the market, and it's helpful to see which ads are performing best in my industry and how they're designed. Adthena fills the gap I've been missing in Google's dashboard, giving me the data and insights needed to fine-tune my ad strategies.

The timing is inconvenient for me. The tool updates when I log in every day but I have to set a reminder to check it later. This disrupts my schedule and is a minor inconvenience.
