Quite useful!

Pros

Bringing together user data from multiple channels into one unified profile offers us a clear and accurate picture of user behavior and preferences. Plus the data analytics tools help our business keep up with trends and make informed decisions.

Cons

The costs, learning curve, reliance on third-party services and concerns about privacy and potential data leaks are a few things I worry about. I am not claiming these issues exist but they might. For this reason they need to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.

Excellent software

Pros

Not only I find it easy to access but it is also a great match and merges the process.

Cons

Generating the database every time is something that causes little trouble for me every time.

Works fine

Pros

The database is reliable and the amperity_id logic has repeatedly proven to be an effective customer identity resolution tool that's easy to work with. We also like the detailed interface and the ability to dive deep into the process flow. Plus we enjoy hands-on interaction with the core database definitions. Our technical account manager, Eric is exceptional and we value this partnership.

Cons

I feel ike there is still room for improvement with automated alerts for when processes need attention. Even though the tool is solid and easy to use..

I love it!

Pros

It works great and has delivered excellent results in our paid media campaigns.

Cons

There is no direct way to send audiences to the Pinterest platform which I wish were the option.

Has a very competent team

Pros

The team's ongoing engagement is valuable. It is clear that they are experts in their areas whether that is Sales, Engineering or CRM Analysis. Plus the tool itself is well-designed, with a user-friendly interface. The transparency in data processing is the best I have seen which eventually implementation and integration much smoother.

Cons

The only real issue we faced was the transition from the pilot project to full implementation. It was not as smooth as we hoped but the Amperity team stepped in and addressed the problems. Time zone differences can also be an issue but as they expand their UK presence, I expect this will improve.

Very supportive!

Pros

One of the biggest benefits is having a reliable source of truth. Plus their team is very responsive and their expertise is something that allows us to stay at peace.

Cons

I wish the platform were a bit more user friendly but thankfully, our rep is always available to help us.

User-friendly platform

Pros

I like how straightforward and easy to navigate the platform is. It makes learning and using it on a daily basis much simpler.

Cons

If there is an error with an orchestration, we do not get an alert about it so I end up being reactive instead of proactive in addressing issues.

Features are top-notch

Pros

The Amperity team is always helpful and provides quick feedback to us. Also it has great features and new functionalities. The segment and campaign portal interfaces are user-friendly especially the visual SQL option which is perfect for marketers.

Cons

Their SQL language needs better integration and alignment with standard SQL. Also I have noticed that some basic SQL commands do not work on their platform.

Great tool

Pros

It is one of the top analytics CDPs. The data models are highly refined and it integrates seamlessly into our ad tech ecosystem. Plus insights are provided in real time and the SCV profiles it generates are quite accurate.

Cons

The pricing is too high and I hopw they consider to lower it a bit soon. And while they offer many integrations still there is room for enhancing their campaign and delivery features. plus the time it takes to resolve support issues also needs some improvement.

Reliable product

Pros

They are leaders in using proprietary, patented machine learning models that combine customer records from different systems into one unified customer profile. This has helped us gain insights into our customers that we did not have before!

Cons

Modules like AMP IQ need further development to fully handle end to end marketing campaigns within a single platform. Once that is done I feel like it could have huge potential to replace or consolidate the marketing tech stack for enterprises.

Using it for years, and I am quite happy

Pros

SQL for ETL, summary pages for segments and the addition of features for uploading external data files are proven highly beneficial for us.

A decent platform for customer segmentation

Pros

Customer segmentation is not a problem anymore with different attributes. Also no coding is required to sort users into categories. The best part is that we can directly send these segmented users to SFMC as a new data extension and use them in email campaigns.

Cons

The knowledge transfer after implementation was a bit difficult. Also the documentation and training were not enough so I had to dig through and figure things out myself. It would be great to add more training sessions for new team members to help them use the tool more effectively.

Keeps its promises

Pros

Amperity's flexibility and connectivity are key to supporting marketing personalization and customer analysis. Also it is easy to update and modify with the only limitation being our own data infrastructure.

Cons

Their GDPR and CCPA compliance solution works well for incremental data builds but it is not very effective for generating our full daily database. I feel like it could use more features to better support this use case.
