Easy segmentation module tool

Pros

One of the best parts of it for me has been the segmentation module. I've used it for mobile apps and connecting it with both the backend and mobile side was very easy. Running promotions through in-app notifications and push notifications is also very convenient. It also covers text messaging, chat, marketing campaign management and user behavior analysis very well.

Cons

Honestly I've been using�it�for the last five years and have been happy with everything.�It�has helped me a lot especially when�it�comes to custom behavior analysis.

Pros

CleverTap comes with a lot of functionality and the journeys feature is especially useful. Setting up automated systems to engage with customers is very easy and works very well.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints about�it.�It�has been a much better solution than the platform we were using before.

Complete real time analytics platform

Pros

From the first campaigns onward, CleverTap has impressed me with how complete its feature set feels. The real-time analytics for tracking user behavior are outstanding and the visual reports it generates are incredibly helpful for improving customer retention. The ready-to-use templates also make it much faster to launch campaigns. On top of that, setting up customized promotional messages and connecting them with push notifications is very easy which really helps with accurate and even more refined targeting.

Cons

Because the interface is so simple and the entire setup process flows so well, any minor downsides hardly feel noticeable.

editable templates are a game changer

Pros

Putting campaigns together in it is very easy thanks to the editable templates which make it fast to create and launch targeted outreach across multiple communication channels. One thing I really appreciate is how it lets us choose the right roadmaps and handle different customer segments without much hassle. The visualization features are also very useful for maintaining continuity in customer relationships and the retargeting option within a defined time frame helps us grab customers' attention while collecting detailed and valuable data we can actually use.

Cons

I don't really have any major complaints though I'd still welcome improvements in�its�ability to route campaigns across social media and capture even more data.

total scam!

Pros

They brought me in for backend work where I was supposed to click a button on prewritten positive 5-star product reviews. The job required 120 clicks per day and I was told I would be paid for doing that.

Cons

Things went downhill when they started talking about lucky orders which were supposed to pay 20 times the commission. I was told that when one came up, I had to cover the cost first and would get reimbursed after the 120 clicks were completed. The first lucky order cost me 6,900.00 and then a second one came up where they demanded another 10,100.00. I simply cannot afford that and now they are saying that if I do not pay�it, I will lose the 10,000.00 I have already put in. This feels like a complete scam. I am out 10,000.00 USD and since I am in Canada, that is about 13,500.00 they now owe me and refuse to return. The trainer and the customer service representative should be held accountable as well. I wish I could upload the screenshots of the nonsense they have been sending me. Do not trust�this company. They will take your money and disappear and you will get nothing back. I am starting a formal investigation with my local police tomorrow. Please learn from my mistake and stay far away from�it.

Easy cross channel campaign tool

Pros

Running campaigns across SMS, WhatsApp and push notifications has been very easy and the segmentation is impressively accurate. It also supports multiple vendors for SMS, WhatsApp, email and RCS which gives us the flexibility to pick the most cost-effective options while still tracking performance across every source using callback reports.

Cons

A drawback is that push notification delivery can be a bit weak on Android phones from certain Chinese manufacturers. Because of that, push campaigns become less effective and we end up depending more on higher-cost channels like SMS and WhatsApp.

Responsive team!

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how responsive the CleverTap team is. Plus the platform itself is very user friendly and comes packed with many strong features and options. The interface is simple to navigate and makes campaign setup very convenient.

Cons

Campaign reports are currently shared by email in CSV format which feels a bit limiting.�It�would also be better if they offered a mobile app and made the overall experience more interactive.

one place for multi channel messaging

Pros

This tool has been proven very useful for sending SMS, push notifications, emails and customer-specific messages based on the campaigns we set up. It handles targeted communication well and helps reach customers through different channels from one place.

Cons

Simplifies daily work

Pros

Using CleverTap has made daily work much simpler and the platform is easy to use. On top of that, the customer support team has been very helpful whenever needed.

Cons

One limitation is with sending the same push notification multiple times. There isn't a one-click option for that so each schedule has to be set up manually.

Multichannel targeting boosts user retention

Pros

This software makes user engagement much more manageable especially with its multichannel targeting capabilities. Building custom segments is quick and handling high-volume campaigns is easy. Because of that, we've been able to improve user retention noticeably.

Cons

The biggest downside is the price since�it�costs quite a bit more than many other tools. Another limitation is that after a journey is published, the trigger and segmentation nodes cannot be modified.

Getting started with CleverTap is pretty easy though there's still room to make it even better. The behavioral insights are very useful and the built-in support for multichannel marketing helps make the most of the resources already available.

User friendly funnel building tool

Pros

The interface is very user-friendly and the best part about CleverTap is how easy it is to build funnels within the platform.

Cons

Customer support tends to be quite slow and often lacks a proper technical understanding of the product which usually turns conversations into long back-and-forths without any real resolution. The product documentation also isn't consistently up to date. We recently tried implementing the web push feature and because of outdated docs and a poorly informed support team, the process ended up taking an entire quarter.

Pros

Once you're familiar with how it works, it's very easy to use and the insights it provides are really valuable for understanding customers better.

Cons

Overall everything works well. The only downside is that deleting events has to be handled by the technical team instead of being something you can do yourself.

Great low cost startup option

Pros

Compared with platforms like Braze and Leanplum, it gives us many of the same marketing automation capabilities at a much lower cost which makes it a really great option for startups. The email automation tools are especially useful and creating campaigns feels easy and user-friendly.

Cons

A few parts of the UX/UI still feel a bit buggy especially the date and time pickers and the journey builder pages. I also really think draft work should save automatically because I've had a few situations where I spent time working on something, came back a few hours later and realized my progress was gone since the page hadn't been saved.

It does a very good job with mobile analytics. Support for parquet format is a nice plus and campaign management is easy to work with. The engagement features are especially useful and have been very helpful overall.

Cons

The interface isn't very user friendly which can make things harder than they should be. The API feels limited, the documentation is quite outdated and the number of integrations is pretty small.�It�also misses real-time data export which is a noticeable drawback.
