“Easy segmentation but more guidance is needed

Pros

It allows us to quickly filter through customer data to create relevant target audiences by segmenting them and provides enough detail to personalize our campaigns while ensuring GDPR compliance.

Cons

When I make a mistake setting up a target audience, it is not always clear what went wrong. It is usually a user error but sometimes I wish there was more guidance so I would not have to spend so much time figuring out why a new data extension shows 0 customers.

“Powerful segmentation, however complex setup

Pros

I love being able to see the exact number of customers who will receive the email before sending, instead of after like I experienced with Audience Builder in Salesforce. The level of segmentation it offers is also great.

Cons

It takes a bit of time to get used to. It feels more complex than Audience Builder and takes some effort to fully understand.

The platform is pretty easy to use and allows us to connect all our data sources making segmentation and model building a simple task.

Cons

I have not come across any downsides while using it. I enjoy using it and it's been really helpful in meeting our needs.

DESelect has been a great addition to our Marketing Cloud tech stack. It allows even those without a technical background to create customer segments without needing technical support. Also their onboarding team and support staff are also amazing whenever we need assistance.

It has a bit of a learning curve at first due to all the features and functionalities it offers.

I love how easy it is to create data extensions by simply dragging and dropping. I can also merge multiple extensions into one making the sending process much easier.

Honestly I cannot think of anything I dislike.

This software is a great product that has helped us tremendously in our daily work, saving a lot of time in Marketing Cloud.

There have been several instances where it just stops working for no apparent reason. Also I feel like stability could definitely be improved especially with the search feature.

Before segmenting data for marketing campaigns was a tedious and time-consuming task due to the variety of data sources we used. Now we have built a repository of accurate, reusable segments that we can easily refresh whenever needed.

I like how simple it is to create data extensions even though I am not the most technical person on the team. Also the ability to create templates and data sets has made my job a lot easier and faster.

It took me some time to understand how the data views are structured but with great support from customer service, I can now create more advanced data extensions and use data views to gather detailed information about our subscribers activities.

DESelect has been a perfect fit for our company as it is easy to use, fast, innovative and very user-friendly.

At first it took me a little while to understand the logic behind how lists are built but now that I am a regular user, it's an easy and convenient tool to work with.

It's a powerful tool that has really sped up building queries and data extensions and the drag and drop feature makes it simple for us with no need for complex coding or SQL knowledge.

I have not run into any issues with it yet.

Personally i think it is pretty easy to use and a great tool for our company. I use it almost daily and I love that it does not require any complicated code. Also it allows for more flexibility with behavioral data. It is very innovative too and I highly recommend it.
