“Best audience targeting tool”
Pros
One feature I really appreciate in this software is the audience management tools. They help me organize my contact list and target campaigns to the right audience based on the demographics and niche we choose. The lookalike audience feature is also very helpful because it lets us expand our audience list further.
Cons
It would be even better if they added more email campaign templates that match different email goals. At the moment, there are not many options available in the template library so we often have to create our own templates from scratch. Even with that, I'm still satisfied with the rest of the service and the marketing features this software offers.

“powerful free tier for small teams”
Pros
Running a small business, the free tier has been really valuable for us and covers nearly everything we need, from email management to automation. There are lots of features, plenty of templates and the fact that it's free makes it even better.
Cons
Upgrading does feel a bit expensive. It can also be somewhat complicated to learn because there are so many features and integrations so it's not really beginner-friendly. The app is also limited and you really need to use it on an actual PC to get the best experience.

“handy templates but spam troubles”
Pros
Getting campaigns built and customer lists uploaded is pretty easy thanks to the simple functionality and ready-made templates. The way the reporting features are organized also works well and makes results easy to follow.
Cons
Biggest downside is the spam problem. When I send out a campaign, about half of the recipients never get it because it ends up flagged as spam.

“Capable email tools and analytics”
Pros
Right away, the range of professional templates and layouts stood out, whether I needed a simple plain-text message or a highly feature-packed email. The analytics are excellent and audience segmentation works really well when I want to retarget specific groups. Even the most basic paid plan offers a lot of value and plenty of room to grow. The email builder comes with a ton of features that make it possible to create really strong emails and the newer survey feature is a nice, simple way to keep subscribers engaged. I also appreciate that the unsubscribe compliance tools are built in since that is such an essential part of running a business properly.
Cons
Getting contacts imported and setting up the database took a little time to learn at first so there is a slight learning curve there.

“fantastic editor and templates”
Pros
One thing I really appreciated about it is its very user-friendly WYSIWYG editor which lets even non-technical users create really polished layouts. You don't have to build an email from scratch either since there are plenty of mobile-optimized templates available. It's much faster and more efficient than coding everything manually although having a bit of HTML knowledge still helps when you want to make finer adjustments.
Cons
Sending is basically limited to a single database and the list segmentation is fairly simple, with only basic filtering options.

“Versatile marketing automation boost”
Pros
Marketing automation takes a lot of the manual work off our plate and makes the entire marketing process much simpler which gives the team more time to focus on what matters most.
Cons
List segmentation could be improved a bit since it feels pretty basic and can become somewhat limiting.

“Next-gen campaigns and smart automation”
Pros
it has been a very convenient marketing tool for us especially because of how flexible it is. The mobile app, training resources and even the option to turn emails into postcards have all been really useful. We originally chose it years ago because creating email newsletters was simple and the deliverability was strong. Over time, the platform has added a lot of valuable features, like assigning contacts from customer accounts, improving segmentation within lists, retargeting people who did not open a campaign and offering much better automation flows for drip campaigns. Everything is easy to understand and use and those improvements have made the platform even more useful for us on a regular basis.
Cons
One issue is that it restricts the import feature after it detects a high bounce rate in an audience. Once that happens, users cannot keep importing emails into the same audience unless they add addresses manually. Because of that some people may become less likely to continue using it. A better solution would be for it to include an email verification feature first so valid addresses could still be added to the audience. I think that would help customers a lot and make them more likely to stay with the platform.

“flexible design tools”
Pros
Back when I was a student, I started using it and I still rely on it now in a professional setting. From a designer's perspective, being able to customize colors and bring in images I've created in other software is a big plus. The drag-and-drop builder is easy to work with and switching over to CSS is also pretty manageable if you know your way around code.
Cons
Compared with other email marketing tools, it still feels limited when it comes to design flexibility. Right now, certain spacing controls just can't be adjusted, like the space on the sides or between content boxes. Mobile formatting is also still challenging so the email can end up looking very different on the web versus on a phone.

“perfect for email beginners”
Pros
Getting started with email marketing feels very approachable with it. A newcomer can begin their email journey without much friction, whether it's collecting leads through basic landing pages or setting up simple automations. For those starting out, it really covers the essentials well.
Cons
Its "audience" system has gotten worse. Previously, it was possible to manage multiple lists but after the switch to "audience," the free plan only allows one. That becomes a real limitation for beginners once they start thinking about scaling. Because of that, it has ended up feeling more like a temporary starting point for new users, who eventually move away once their subscriber base grows which is exactly what I recently did by switching to Encharge.

“custom templates and audience tracking”
Pros
Running close to a dozen segmented lists through my it account has worked really well. The built-in email templates, plus the option to design my own, are a big part of why I keep using it. Almost everything in the platform feels highly customizable, aside from a few limits that may just come with my pricing tier. I can send campaigns whenever I want, automate them when needed and keep track of how my audience is engaging.
Cons
One thing that has been frustrating is that my emails used to sync properly with my social media accounts and that has not been working for the last 9 to 12 months. I have not sent as many emails this year so I still have not taken the time to dig through the Support center for a fix. Still, I noticed the issue started around the same time as a major redesign.

“beginner-friendly email marketing value”
Pros
It is pretty easy and it covers the core email marketing tools like automation, analytics and lead management. It comes with a selection of basic templates and designs, plus the mobile app is really handy when you need to manage emails while away from your desk. One of the biggest advantages is the free plan which includes just about everything needed to begin email marketing. Even the paid plan is reasonably priced and adds a few extra features and options. Because of that, it's a really great choice for beginners who want to start email marketing without spending too much money.
Cons
A major downside with it is that it doesn't allow affiliate marketing through email so that can be a dealbreaker if that matters to you. I'd also prefer the templates to have more customization built in. It covers the basics well but if you're looking for deeper customization and more advanced features, then it probably won't be the best fit.

“confusing billing and hidden limits”
Pros
The interface looks good and it does include a few features that are genuinely useful.
Cons
Although the design is decent, the billing setup feels incredibly misleading and seems built to drain extra money from users. In my case, I added a large number of subscribers while also moving to a lower plan because I no longer needed everything included in the higher tier. The problem is that subscriber changes take effect right away, while plan changes do not apply until a month later. That leaves you stuck paying a massive overage charge for emails sent during the same month you make the change. It is hard to see any reason for handling it that way other than squeezing more money out of customers. Even while I was already paying more overall because I had more subscribers, they still charged me heavily during that transition month. On top of that, it advertises features in a way that feels deceptive. You only realize after signing up that you are not actually getting everything you assumed was included. The list limits are frustrating too, they only allow three separate mailing lists unless you pay more and even then you only get five which still was not enough for what I needed. Trying to combine lists from different sites into one list creates confusion and causes additional problems. Customer support did not help much either. Responses were slow and when they finally came through, the team often could not do much because their policies are too inflexible.

“fantastic drag-and-drop customization”
Pros
After using it for years for our internal newsletters, it's still one of the simplest platforms to get up and running with. The setup is quick, the interface is very user-friendly and the pricing feels fair for what you get. We specifically wanted something with plenty of customization and the drag-and-drop builder gives us exactly that, we can tailor almost everything to match our customers' visual styles. It really is incredibly easy to use. I've tested a few other tools over the years and while some offered more advanced features, that isn't always what you need. Sometimes you just want something that works well, looks good and doesn't make the process complicated. it fits that perfectly and is an excellent choice for anyone getting started with email campaigns.
Cons
One downside is that the free plan is pretty limited although it's still useful for trying the platform out before making a bigger commitment. The email tracking could also be more powerful but it's enough to handle the basics and still gets the job done.

“powerful audience insights”
Pros
One of the best parts for me was the audience management tool. It gave me useful insights that helped me adjust my approach and target my audience more effectively. I also really appreciated the automated messages since they made it much easier to send communications at the times when they would have the biggest impact.
Cons
A few features took me a little time to fully understand at first but overall the platform still felt very user-friendly. Aside from that, I really didn't run into any notable downsides.

“well-designed email templates”
Pros
Creating email templates is really well thought out and the tool feels accessible no matter your experience or skill level. Putting together a campaign is easy from start to finish.
Cons
One limitation is that images can't be freely moved around when they're placed in a block with text. Both images and text have to stay inside separate blocks so having the option to position images more freely, like wrapping text around them, would be very helpful.

“Great free plan for starters”
Pros
it's free plan is a really good starting point for anyone getting into email marketing. You can have up to 2,000 subscribers and it still includes useful core features like automation, sign-up forms and contact management.
Cons
One downside is that the templates especially on the free plan, feel very limited and not very attractive. It also lacks universal blocks so you can't build one header and reuse it across every template, you have to either copy the HTML or recreate it each time.

“fast email campaigns and simple setup”
Pros
Getting started with it took almost no effort. Connecting it to WordPress or another CMS is really easy, just install the plugin and activate it in a couple of clicks. The bulk email feature was what pulled us in first and it has been very useful. It lets us customize campaigns, schedule them properly and send thousands of emails to the right customers at the right time within minutes.
Cons
At this point, there is very little to complain about with the product. Its user community has expanded a lot over time so whenever help is needed, it's usually enough to search online or ask a question and answers show up quickly.

“powerful campaign automation”
Pros
This software takes a lot of the complexity out of marketing and makes it feel approachable. From putting together a one-off email campaign to setting up a layered drip sequence, the platform keeps the process clear and manageable. The marketing automation tools are especially valuable when you're running a business and need to save time.
Cons
Although it's interface is fairly easy, it can still be difficult to fully understand everything the platform is capable of. I'd really like to see something like a "it University" where users could learn not just the individual features but also the marketing ideas and strategies behind the tasks the software helps you perform.

“fast campaign email launch”
Pros
Running my local political campaign with it worked out really well especially because the free tier fit exactly what I needed. The biggest advantage was how fast everything came together, I only needed my email list and a script for the message and I was ready to go. From creating the account to getting that first open, the whole process took under 30 minutes.
Cons
One frustrating part is the restrictions around using third-party mailing lists. That can be a real obstacle for someone in my situation as a political candidate, where the email addresses come through a state authority and I have clear permission to use them.
